Yorubas and Igbos aren't in any form of competition. So support Igbo presidency based on it's merits and leave the Yorubas out of your issues to support whoever they like. pinardave: Igbos don’t hate other tribes but Yoruba always want to make it look like Igbos hate other tribes. Igbos don’t support failures, and that does not mean hatred. Orji Kalu is a failure, an igbo man will never support his candidacy, but Yorubas will support slave master Tinubu because he is Yoruba. Igbos want progress not propaganda. |

Why is it that you don't see that happening? SmartPolician: If there's free and fair election, this will happen.
PDP cannot field a northerner if the APC fields an Igbo man in 2023. But I don't see the latter happening though.
But if the APC fields someone from the South West and PDP fields someone from the north, the northerner will win |

Thank you and God bless you. You have a deep understanding of the situation at hand. For certain complex reasons, it's very very difficult for single mothers to stay without sex for long and easily give out sex generously because; 1) They have been having sex over time and it's naturally difficult to stop. 2) They don't have fixed partners and they must have sex, so they easily agree for guys that approach them. 3) Most are always broke because their baby daddies always abandon them to carry the responsibilities for the kids alone. This make them to look for guys that can sleep with them and give them money or take care of them and their children. 4) It's not happy State. They too want somebody to love them. They need someone to kiss them, carry and pet them. One lady, whose husband traveled out just after two years of marriage and abandoned her in Nigeria once told me that she has thrown her wedding rings away and that she sometimes cried alot many nights, alone with a little son in their flat, out of loneliness and frustrations. After some years, she couldn't be paying for the flat, she just packed her things and moved back to her mother's house. Things became so bad that she started reaching out to her Ex-lovers (like me) for companionship , financial assistance and of course, sexual fulfilment! She became very unhappy when after some years, someone met her husband abroad and call her that 'guy man' has already moved on with his life and living with another woman. She once begged me to connect her with a responsible man that can re-marry her. Eulalia: I'm sure the reason youre busy singing the "I love her" anthem is because she has opened her legs for you too. Imagine a woman who after two kids from different men is still unrepentantly opening her legs for a third man? Just know you won't be the last cos to such people, " nothing dey there" is always their mentality. That is why its easy to open and close at will.

Some people wrongly assume that the parties must always present every candidate for re-election. Elections are actually like football matches. A team can change the captain of their team and substitute him with another person if they aren't satisfied with his performance. Political parties contest elections in Nigieria and the candidates are representatives of the parties in the electoral contests. Sakamaje: Who are 'you guys' you are referring to? Point out a post or comment where my handle participated in the your allegation. To put things in perspective, Ambode's matter was clearly an internal party/political issue. He ended up losing his party primary and his successor still went ahead and won the general election.
Candidates are products of their party's internal mechanism, the party then presents them to the electorate to represent them in the general election. Any governor that fails to secure his party's ticket doesn't stand a chance of representing such a party in the general elections. Ambode lost his party primary that would have enabled him represent his party in the governorship election which is an indication that he wasn't popular enough within the party to represent them.
Obaseki also had issues within the state chapter of his party and that ultimately cost him APC ticket. He, like Ambode, failed to properly manage the internal intrigues of party politics. No big deal. He chose to exit the party and try his luck elsewhere.
You are the one making it sound like every governor must always win their party's nomination for second term. If a party feels a governor's second term ambition will put it at a disadvantage, it can use its internal mechanism to present another candidate that it feels more confident about. |

Politics › Re: Obaseki is finished!Akeredolu is gone!! by oyatz(m): 6:32am On Jul 18, 2020 |
What exactly are you trying to say sir? It seems like you are talking in parables. Do you mean that there should be automatic tickets for re-election of Governor or conducting primaries for Governors means humiliation? Ambode contested the Primaries but he didn't win because most of the party members didn't like his style of administration. In 2003, the PDP didn't even allow Ex-Gov Chinwoke Mbadinuju of Anambra State to participate in his party Primaries and instead gave their ticket to Dr Chris Ngige. ogbuefi677: Obaseki is finished! Akeredolu is gone! So said Kamorudeen and Musliu them a week ago. Now,they are suddenly humble and giving motivational speeches The ruling party not only refused to disqualify Akeredolu but affirmed indirect primaries as the method to be used in Ondo, there by effectively handing the incumbent governor the ticket. Aketi might go on to lose d main elections but a message has been sent that the era of Ambode-like humiliation of sitting governors has ended. |

One rich man amidst nine poor people will result in ten poor guys. Lordswazz: Even as this Enugu by Okpara Avenue from the above picture is looking modestly okay, do you see those guys with wheelbarrows vending fruits? Well, that's the problem. If any state government works hard enough to make any city almost at par with the Viennas and the Londons, how do you deal with the influx of the gazillions of poor people that will troop in from other poor states looking for economic opportunities by hawking, vending in wheelbarrows everywhere. Abi you wan prevent them from coming into the state? Even if they have valid certifications as bonafide citizens of Nigeria?
For me, i believe that if the poverty index of majority of the country's citizens is improved considerably (which is verrrry difficult but not impossible), and other states also improve in infrastructure and aesthetics, any attempt at one state or city alone in Nigeria urbanizing itself will experience so much influx of traffic from other states and cities that it will virtually ruin all its effort and bring you back to square one. |
