That was bad! That was evil. That was wicked. What a loyal dog! It gave its life trying to protect its boss. Woow. Painful. I have a Rottweiler and it has shown me more than enough loyalty. I can't imagine how that guy felt when that shot came through. And I wonder what the guy did. He was only snapping pictures. |
ilugunboy: When Sahara reporters was accurately reporting how Turai Y'ardua and the discredited cabals were maltreating GEJ..Sahara reporters was not a 'discredited purveyor of falsehood'?Saharareporters have been proven times without number to be two things: 1)A good source for breaking news. 2) A good source for falsehood. They are excellent in both, but better in the latter in recent times. Premium Times is now ahead of them when it comes to breaking news. But they hold by far the record for propagating falsehood. The sad part is that after they've been proven to be false, they still act in a manner so arrogant. Saharareporters is declining! Loook at the graph! Truthfully, the roads have improved tremendously. I can bet that in the next 2 years we would be able to drive accross majority of FG roads in the country without a single bump. The reconstruction is everywhere and the speed is ramped up considerably. From Lagos to Calabar Lagos to Enugu Lagos to Port Harcourt Lagos to Abuja we would drive smoothly without a single pot hole. Its so good especially for those of us who travel on a regular basis. |
Calabar is raking up some quality investments lately. Why are all the companies rushing toi Calabar? Thats good sha. The station would be located in Calabar at the Tinapa studios. Over 150 staff from accros the world would be employed there. |
Very interesting poll. These are my observations. |
Ada Nri1: If Dangote gets the monopoly of this tomato business then poor man is in trouble! Fresh tomato will become a luxury and canned tomatoes, well, let's just say that you'll buy them at any price Dangote puts. Then why don't you go into the business or tell your daddy to go into it and make it a duopoly. You sit on your laptop complaining about a man who has one head, two hands, two legs just like you and using them to make impact in the way he feels best. Why not make you own impact. You can start with a farm in your village. Apparently, you prefer the chinese keep importing thier tomatoes for us while ours rot at the farms. |
Sincere 9gerian: Who is trying to mis-inform Nigerians? The FG is COMPLETELY reconstructing the Lagos-Ibadan road. Part of th design of the brand new road is ADDITION of 3 more lanes (i.e making a total of 5 lanes on each side or 10 lanes in total) to the Lagos-Sagamu section of the road. Read:I don't think that article was right. 17 billion would not do that road. Not even if if they were given free Bitumen for the construction. I believe Julius Berger refereed to 170 billion. It must have been a Typo. |
ideylaff: This is the lingo of people who dont know their rights... road constriction is not a priviledge.. if you pay your taxesAnd please tell me when last you paid your taxes. Money comes from the oil that has polluted someones fish farm and you are here talking about taxes. Truth of the matter is that Okupe has misinformed us with this piece. The Figure is right but the scope is wrong. |
Does Sabmiller belong to the Anambra State Government?! Does Orient Pet belong to Anambra State Government? Has Anambra State government invested in schools? Akwa is a hot mess. Inshort.. I will even put Edo State sef before Anambra State. Dude.. I refuse to mention Anambra State.. This list is for serious states.. I am still watching Anambra State. Peter Obi is yet to impress me one bit. Go and look at Upper Iweka first.
Truthfully, Anambra is shooting far below its belt. That state should be like top 2 in the country given the amount of entrepreneurial human capital that exists among the citizens. But everywhere from Awka to Onitsha to Nnewi to Ogidi is a hot mess!! Not the kind of place you want to setup business. And still watching Obi after 8 years in power? Nah. Forget it. Lets pray the state goes to someone in the mould of Soludo. Edo state should definitely be on the list of states of the future. |
yemmight: I am sure if such a project is awarded with that figure in Lagos, some people here ready to attack BRF and Tinubu. From the record that I know, this road has been awarded to over 5 construction companies since OBJ's tenure without any success. Sooner or later some of you will know who meant well for this nationWell LCC is handling a 51 kilometer 6 lane road for 60 billion Naira and on the 8th year its still on 37km. How pathetic does it get. OBJ's tenure is different from Jonathan's tenure. And this is the first time the raod has been awarded. To think that the road is awarded just soon after it was taken from Bi Courtney tells you that this government is serious about infrastructure development. If you've travelled accross this country you would have noticed how much infrastructural development is going on at the same time. The amount of works is unprecedented in this country. To think that all this is happening in just 2 years. |
Uyo is definitely preparing for the future. Wonderful Roads, Excellent Airport project, the Deep Sea Project at Ibaka. Ibom Power. That's Infrastructure development and it will work wonders in the future. Donald Duke worked Calabar to wonders. Now you have all the best companies choosing to situate in Calabar. GE has just launched a $1 Billion plant. Ebony LIFE TV, Africa's first Global TV starts off on July 1st at Tinapa. Dangote Cement,Flour Mills and a host of other companies are setting up massive factories in Clabar as a result of the effort Donald Duke put on ground. That Cross River/Akwa Ibom axis is the future of Nigeria as they are strategically position to take advantage of the increase in wealth on the of the Gulf of Guinea countries. |
Its either he was trying to avoid the embarrassment of calling a meeting and having just deputies attend or he had to accede to greater power. So why in the first place would you be fighting a fruitless battle when you know you would loose. It just doesnt make any sense. To think about it, it is Wike, Amaechi's man that is fighting him. |
egift: In 2015, the Peoples Democratic Party are perfecting a unique strategy to ensure it retains the Presidency, irrespective of what the opposition come up with. Below are the various steps, which is currently being test-run. Do reply and identify what I may have omitted. This is the problem I have with you opposition guys. Egift, I remember your campaign for Buhari in 2011. If you guys present the same lack lustre campaign you did with Buhari you will fail woefully again. Elections are not won by this your list. I will show you a better list and you'll be amazed at how slow you opposition figures really. How PDP will win 2015 elections without having to work too hard. 1)Farmers. The government as we speak has built a database of 10 million farmers(the e-wallet system) with the number capping an expected 15million by 2015. All these farmers are rural based. Eligible to vote and do not read newspapers. They are currently getting fertilizers, improved seedlings and other inputs at discounted prices and have experience tremendous increase in Yield. Now, the big deal is that they will soon be distributed with 10 million mobile phones. With a single text message they will all be thumb-printing Umbrella. 2)SS, SE, MB. I don't have to explain this. Its as simple as it gets. 3)TINUBU When the chips are down, Tinubu would state his price. PDP will pay probably directly from the taps in the creeks. 4)Boko Haram The opposition and Boko Haram seem to be getting along pretty well these days. My advice for the opposition would be to get Boko Haram to be quite throughout 2015 in order for a state of emergency not to be declared in opposition strongholds. 2015 is a done deal for PDP. Not because the PDP is an excellent and highly intelligent political organization,( because it isn't,) but because the opposition is not smart by even half. Tinubu is the only asset the opposition possess. The rest are whiners with no sense of intelligence to execute top class strategy. |
Aminu Bello Masari- PDP EL RUFAI- PDP TOM IKIMI- PDP ANNIE OKONKWO- PDP More than 70% of critical officers of a party that is supposed to be an alternative to the PDP is filled with ex PDP members. And that same party is considering inviting errant PDP governors to join its fold. That same party is eyeing to field a Presidential candidate from the PDP in 2015 as it did with ATIKU in 2007 and Ribadu in 2011. To think we are told that PDP is the problem of Nigeria. Okay Finally I get it. It is not PDP members that are the problem, it is the name PDP. So we are just changing the name to APC. |
But wait oh. So Nigeria is this important. Ha. Imagine I was going on a visit to London. My desire is to go shopping. So my itinerary says I would be at the Harrods, Debenhams and Marks and Spencer. Then I go on to announce that "I am sorry I wouldn't be visiting Selfridges". The reason is bla, bla, bla, bla bla bla. And ALL OF Selfridges, the staff, the management and the rest are wondering to themselves: Wetin consign us? We weren't expecting you in the first place. The only thing you would have brought to us is Hold Ups on our roads and a complete shut down of the cities you visit. We are doing very fine without you thanks. And many of us here(minus me) think you are the illuminati. And we are afraid of such things. |
While I think you are doing a great job ma, I think a national carrier is ill conceived especially if it is intended to be a Government owned company. As at the last check, no business owned by government ever works so there is no reason why a national carrier would be an exception. But lets see how it goes. September 2013 and you haven't started recruiting. Hmmm. |
Wow. We get almost equal remittances from Nigerians in Diaspora in comparison to what we get from oil. Thats interesting. |
You mean gratuity not pension. Is he a PHCN Worker. I'll be back with an interesting list of 7 things. |
Larryfly: all of u praising gej's clueless strategy are as clueless as him. must he make it that obvious that he is against Ameachi's leadership Of NGF. he is making that man popular and creating sympathy for him. yet one of his trumpeters would come out tomorow and claim the president has no hand im the ngf crises.Exactly what I said about opposition fellas. Always complaining and lacking in critical thinking. Please learn from Tinubu. He never complains. He uses strategy to get results. So Jonathan is making Amaechi popular amongst who? Northerners that would never vote for a Christian? Or South Westerners that would never vote an Igbo? Please wear your thinking cap. What good did Ribadu's popularity earn him in the 2011 elections? |
What I have noticed with many of you opposition folks is this: You lack intelligence. You lack Strategy. You lack Doggedness and Deftness. But you have in abundant supply: Cowardly Abuses. Sustained Whining. Absolute Hopelessness. Again I will tell you this. A united Governor's forum is a threat to the operations of the Executive. It made OBJ kneel down and beg Atiku. It has made all our Presidents and Vice Presidents since 2007 come from their ranks. It has made them fight against the collective good of Nigerians with regards to the Sovereign Wealth Fund. So the strategists of the supposed clueless one, came up with a strategy. Destroy the Unity of the NGF so the executive can have peace. And it has worked perfectly. Because the opposition lacked intelligence and Strategic thinking capabilities, they fell for the trap. Jonathan does not want to control the NGF. He simply wants it divided. And he has what he wants. It leaves me wondering who the real clueless ones are? Apparently lack of intelligence and strategic thinking from the opposition tells us more about cluelessness. |
For those calling Fashola the most popular, try asking an Okada rider from Taraba State who is Fashola and you will be surprised he has no idea. Moral of the story: Lagos is not Nigeria. Being popular on the net is no measure of popularity in Nigeria. |
Pataki: Should this man not be concerned about the affairs of this country, than this ediotic noise making about his pdp?And his PDP is not a part of the country ni? |
egift: We are already in it. Jonanthan is always late to realize. This combination always makes the best of Fashola's fans puke. Fashola, a very intelligent man who has worked hard and produced results is barred from contesting the presidency because one almost illiterate, power hungry terrorist sympathiser has an unending desire to rule Nigeria. Why not Fashola on top of the ticket. |
The sect called Boko Haram is gradually coming to an end. Since the on set of the state of Emergency, there hasn't been a single bomb blast in any parts of the country. The killings have reduced. We thank God and can't wait for peace to return. Like this page if you think the State of Emergency is working. |
Nice. I've always wished for Julius Berger to handle that road. At least they have the experience and the capcity. They would take 8 years to construct a 51km road like LCC is doing on Lekki- Epe. With the rate of road construction currently going on in the country, looks like Nigerians would be able to enjoy a jolly free ride anytime they are on the highway. The list of major road construction by the FG is endless and none is being abandoned. Abuja-Benin.(Dualised) Benin- Lagos(a now wonderful driving experience) East- West Road Lagos- Ibadan Kano- Maiduguri Port Harcourt- Enugu Enugu- Onitsha These are just the few I've been on recently. You wonder what previous governments were doing. In just 2 years we get all this. May God bless the executioners. |
Brimmie: Oga Fasho!! I hate to admit that he's not gon' be APC Presidential candidate!!I thought Tambuwal was in PDP. And I thought PDP was the problem of Nigeria. When will the opposition be finally able to present their own candidate. 2007= Atiku. 2011= Ribadu 2015= Tambuwal, Amaechi, Lamido, etc. Doesnt APC have any non PDP material ![]() |
Come o are we having a dead president or what. Later people will say its because dey don't want him to be president. What has GEJ done since he came into power? He has only helped d elites. See how politicans steal money dis days and say its witch hunt. Shebi white people no like obama dint obama kill osama nd made himself useful. Nd I knw some idiots will still vote for gej in 2015. Dis country is messed up. If there is no security in a country then the country is useless. See has people just dey die like flies
You are pathetic and your reasoning is gutter type. You are the type that said tries to hamper all the efforts the FG is making to secure the nation. He sends troops, you say he should dialogue. He chooses dialogue, you say he should grant amnesty first. He sets up Amnesty committee, it's rejected, yet you say he should beg them as well as send a plane to pick them to Abuja. He declares state of emergency, you say he is killing innocent Nigerians. You are just pathetic. The State of Emergency is working. There would be flashpoints outside of areas where the army has concentrated. The failure of security is a result of: 1) Local leaders failing to play their parts...security is a collective. Buhari is an example of a local leader who has failed to play his part. 2)Years of neglect of our security forces. Jonathan has had to invest heavily in security because previous leaders failed to do same. |
Hehe. Eko Ile is the new secretary of the PDP Governors Forum. I'm suddenly wondering whether it is Iya Tinubu that was paying your dues before and since her demise you've opted to switch parties. I hope your new paymasters are paying well. |
Eko Ile: The fact that you are shallow and reason like a kindergarten school kid doesn't mean other people are.Hehe. Looks like you are learning the spin and spell tactic. You are improving boy!! Grandpa?? Hehe. You are probably older or just same age as me. I'm just way smarter and more accomplished, that's why you think I'm aged! |
Eko Ile: Must you shallow minded fools turn this into a political thing?Dear Sir, What you have successfully done is to show to us why the ACN keeps looking to field Presidential candidates from the PDP. Obviously, from the pictures you have shown, PDP is miles ahead ACN in development. Almost 50 Billion dollars after and 15 YEARS of Tinubu AND Fashola, Lagos State, talkless of the rest of the SW ACN cannot show a single school looking anywhere near what you will find in Delta state, which is the least of the pack in the south south. Now we understand why the only way to Abuja is to field a PDP candidate as was done with Atiku, Ribadu and now they are eyeing Tambuwal. |
You see pictures like these from Amaechi's Port Harcourt and you wonder why a section of the country think their ACN Governors are performing. If one ACN state(of course except the beautiful Edo State) can proudly show a picture of an improved school looking anything like those you find in Port Harcourt I will ban myself from Nairaland. Infact let me even lower the bar. If any ACN state can produce a picture of an improved school like those you find in Uduaghan's Delta...... I go ban myself. Below is a school in Delta. https://247ureports.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/DSC01121.jpg To think that these renovations are happening across the length and breath of the south south while Children in Ogun and Lagos are learning under trees and leaking roofs, you marvel at those who think that Tinubu is doing them a favour. Trust me, Awo would be cringing in disgust somewhere right now. |
