Foreign AffairsRe: France Legalises Same-sex Marriage by patostation(m): 11:53am On May 20, 2013
gothrones: So according to you, barren women, impotent men, and old people have no right to adopt and raise kids, since nature is not in their favor? Where do you geniuses come up with these rules? How do you know nature's laws?
My God Jehovah! Gays, homosexuels and reprobate minds have infiltrated Nairaland. They will soon start propagating their depravity and sodomic ideology here. God, you that produced them from male and female marriages but they now see it as wrong, kindly make all their generations gay and lesbian so that thé fate of Sodom and Gomorrha will befall them, amen. Say amen if you are a straight "normal" human being.

yellowpawpaw: I don't know where u guys get d generalization thing from.I agree in some places, the bride price can be scary but not everywhere.I'm ibo and in my lga, what u pay and do is really small.infact after payin d dowry,ur family will take little amt and return d rest to ur guy's pple.its customary.
All those other things u c pple doin is just copy cat, not in most constitutions.but bc u want to impress pple,u can do some outrageous thing and blame it on ur gal's pple.
That is true. Marriage custom differs from village to village and from town to town. Body will force you to pay any amount . It's mike an inter-village bargain. Village A (bride's village) will produce a list that includes the bride price. An item in the list coulé be as little as N500. Village B (groom's village) will argue that since they don't have such an item in their own procedure, they will pay N100. In the end the to parties will settle for, say, N250. Overall, item in the list are not necessarily beyond the capacity of any serious suitor. Any issue not settled on the traditional marriage day can be settled later, even 50 years later. With this flexibility and sense of seriousness, I consider the Ibo marriage to be the most honorable in Nigeria; and perhaps the cheapest in the long run.

Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Gives Followers Indian Hemp For 'Sober Reflection' by patostation(m): 8:03pm On May 17, 2013
All these people recommending ganja, I have a question for you. Can you allow your son, or your daughter or your parents to taste the goodness of igbo?

What do you think is responsible for the high incidence of mad young men in town? How about the dare devil robbers?
Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Gives Followers Indian Hemp For 'Sober Reflection' by patostation(m): 7:45pm On May 17, 2013
Anytime I open My TV and see how some telepreachers howl and dance and demonstrate, I often wonder what they are high on. Now I have à confirmed reason - igbo/hemp.

Yes ooo! I almost got killed by those bastards for snapping them while harrassing okada drivers. My lawyer even told me to thank my stars that it was a public place. Otherwise they would have wasted me instead of protecting me.

There are so many useless applications out there. I don't waste my time on them. Facebook, Email, Twitter is just enough for me. Especially when other social media like Nairaland, Naij.com, and Sahara Reporters are also there to complement the other ones.

PoliticsRe: The Economics Of Shoprite In Abia by patostation(m): 9:42pm On Apr 23, 2013
What's the big deal about shoprite in Abia? What's the big deal about a supermarket (shoprite is nothing but an ordinary supermarket). Any baga can set up a supermarket. That was how Ohakim AKA "Ikiri" managed to "attract foreign investment" to Imo by way of Mr Biggs! Yeye people. Instead of building real industries, they are bringing retail shops and making mouth about it. Mcheeeeew.

I don tired oooooooo.
I made the mistake of attending one of the "shortlisted interview and tests" at that No 15 Adekumbi Street Ikeja. I wasted my time and my money getting ready (CV update, photocopy of documents, typing and printing and transportation). I even risked losing my present job because of the yeye place. It all started with a written "test". After that, we were treated to a long sermon by one small boy who by all standard seemed to be less qualified than the candidates he was dressing down. Next came one lady who added salt to injury my insulting everyone present with her manner of speech. At that stage, many of the job seekers started trooping out. I had to leave too. Though I needed a job, it definitely is not that type of dehumanization in an uncompleted building. God forbid!
PoliticsRe: Repentant Abia Criminals Demand For Amnesty by patostation(m): 4:46pm On Apr 16, 2013
harmless011: Is this a joke or what
Which joke? Na Naija you dey, the land of the absurd. There is nothing new here. If you are a ritualist, a murderer or a pirate, better start demanding for amnesty; and the monetary settlement that goes with it. You can carry placards and protest if you were given a listening ear.
CelebritiesRe: Africa’s First Same-Sex Marriage In South Africa (pictures) by patostation(m): 10:42pm On Apr 10, 2013
I feel the best way to drive home the point that homosexuality is unnatural is to deny gays and lesbians the privilege of raising children either by adoption, surrogacy, artificial insemination or any other means. Let them live their miserable lives the way they want without tainting innocent little children with their wierd belief.

biolabee: The common trend is mad black women
Whether single, divorced, married, menopausic or wateva... The black angry woman is constant
Heaven knows no fury like a woman scorned and cheated! But why do women feel this bad? Is it because they feel used and dumped? Is it because they cannot come to terms with the idea of sharing? Is it to prove that noone can mess with them and get away with it? Is it that they love more deaply or are they more jealous than men

You must be a jealous baboon for making such comparison. If you have not lived all your life on earth, don't think that everything is well with you. You never can tell, you could be the father of a dwarf tomorrow or an uncle of a four-legged baby or even the grandfather to a red-haired and almond-eyed albino. There is nothing wrong with Chinedu; he is a superstar. But there is something wrong with you because you cannot appreciate or come to terms with human variety.

This is Boko-transport AKA KekeBoko. By the time Boko Haram gets the upper hand in the current war, this is how we will all be travelling.Since they are against anything 'western', they may ban cars and buses. After all, they have already banned women from riding in the same bus with men.
