BigCowH0rn:Hmmm, so if they place a bounty of 1 million for every 'regional manager' for the bandit franchise there will be no takers because of religion yet they prefer to pay 400 million to the 'company' to gain access to their farms.... strange... |
Well as someone said on radio this morning, 'that if they are prepared to share their security votes with us....' Sounds funny but in the American wild west of antiquity when intel based law enforcement was non existent (like in Nigeria of today) what local authorities did was simple, put a bounty on them and boom, the bounty hunter industry started and crime took to its heels. Instead of paying kidnappers for peace, why not pay bounty hunters for war.... out of your humongous security votes. Dead or alive, most will be captured. But alas even the whistle blower policy working everywhere in the world suffered catastrophic failure here.... why. The insincerity of the operators. So why will anyone whistle blow on a terrorist. when even a 'peaceful' cannot be exposed successfully (without blow back on the hunter). Like another respondent humorously said again on radio. 'Asking a citizen to whistle-blow on a terrorist is like asking him to go slap the face of a herbalist in his shrine...' When even government security agents cower in the face of resistance, is it him that will go bare-chested.... Another asked what happened to the list sent by the UAE, the allegations made by the late Obadiah Mailafia and of course the much publicized shenanigans of Sheikh Gumi.... all dripping with credible intel the same government has failed to act on. |
Elsueno:The only difference between here and there is the elasticity of a hapless people being fed with N5,000 to remain in chains for another decade. This remains the poverty capital of the world with the largest concentration of wretches on this planet yet you feel the need to be 'pushed'.... to where I may ask.... the grave.? |
But here it will be turned to either a religious war or ethnic skirmish between team 'our brother is in power' and the remnants of hapless citizens. |
Asking a section to disregard their prejudice in favour of another that cannot let go of theirs....balsy. |
kozmokaz:Unnecessary because we are so ignorant in this country in handling even the most rudimentary procedures. In other climes ALL anti-terrorism officers wear balaclavas in operation as standard gear for this very reason. Moreover all secret services the world over have as standard a 'Counter Intelligence Unit' which is always manned by the brightest, best and most diligent. Their job is to maintain a sterile operating service by constantly hunting and weeding out moles. Finally, the justice system has to step up now by way of new legislation to establish extremely harsh penalties for moles, spies and every double agent in this fight against terror such that extreme prejudice including the instant death penalty where security agents are killed in the course of duty. |
Hmmm.... ghoulish.... what a mess. These are real hardened killers you see here. Look at the face of that Yunusa Mukaiya.... Abeg if you see that one just pass by quietly.... And attempt to call out and you are gone like smoke in the wind.... ![]() |
Olastep1:With a good 3D printer and the right software from the dark web you can fabricate an effective weapon. And now that there appears to be locally made ammunition out there, all bets are off. The world is going to hell in a handbag. |
So all the Presidential gallivanting is just smoke and mirrors. When he leaves they just thumb their noses. They know the truth and see through the lame propaganda of this failed government. |
The first one happens you excuse it, the second follows, the third, fourth and fifth.... What it means is that all the prisons in Nigeria are fair game and clay pigeons lined up for shooting practice. Expect more jail breaks he is indirectly saying. Nigerians provide electricity for themselves, water, roads, healthcare, education and security. Perhaps we should organise and provide prisons for ourselves to lock up the criminals amongst us since government cannot hold onto them. After most prisons in the west are privately run. The Nigerian government should privatise them asap so we know who to hold responsible. I am certain privately run prisons will be 'designed to resist external attacks' by those who can and those who care. |
Jokerman:How old is the government that gave the order and how expedient is it in the face of the rains that will peak this month into August. Be reasonable. The church should consider it a sacrifice to improve the environment it depends and benefits from. |
AlphaTaikun:Is he not dead already. |
Ibori's candidate.... Okowa's candidate..... abeg who is the candidate of the people.... at least those loyal to the PDP. When will Nigerians be ready to break their chains and stand in line for that man or woman they choose and will be loyal to them and them alone. When will this nonsense end. When will the average PVC have any value beyond the piece of plastic it is. |
Same thing everyday. No creativity, just like our architects, entertainers and even political leaders. |
What kind of failed system has prisoners having such humongous amounts in their possession. Can't the Nigerian government realise that such amounts will definitely compromise the system including every single operator. Is there little wonder why security was so lax and the prison a soft target. Corruption broke that prison. |
That is all they are interested in. The country can burn for all they care. If there was a jail break in Washington DC or in the middle of London and over 300 terrorists and hardened criminals were freed, the President will be hunkered down in his Situation Room directing what is certainly a state of emergency and security crises. Here it is just another day and they all go their merry ways, fiddling while the nation collapses around them. |
Its all over the radio waves in Abuja. Honestly this is so unfortunate. Mr. President you are a complete let down. |
Okobola146:Nothing here. Just trying to bring your kids into the 21st century. The fact you see it as a problem shows where the real problem is. A total disrespect for intellectual diversity. |
100million for a season of voyeurism....hmmm |
Will these northern politicians like to be linked with the bandits and terrorists roaming freely in all the geo-zones of the north, groups some of them have openly funded by way of government approved ransom payments and all sorts of settlements in the name of amnesty in the past and present?. |
Juoflife1:Who cares. Did they vote him in. Didn't he 'buy' power and what a man buys is what belongs to him and him alone. When you sell you forfeit your right of ownership. Nigerians sell their rights at the polls and later return to complain and protest. The black man is so daft. You sell your house and later return to ask for the Jacuzzi.... forget it.... go call police. The average Nigerian has no right whatsoever to demand anything from their so called leaders. That is a fact. |
Hmmm, appears London will lose its status to Paris as the new 'Holy Land' for political pilgrimage where failed leaders go to refresh body and soul. Therefore it may take another 8 decades for our democracy to tour the major EU states before new continents are sought to conquer |
Is there anything in Nigeria that is improving? Regression everywhere you look. Nothing for a beleaguered people to enjoy.... absolutely nothing.... sad..... ![]() |
DeGLORIOUS:Hahahaha..... crazy you.... ![]() |
You just couldn't evoke a more fascinating couple of pics..... ![]() 'Christ the Redeemer' watching over the Emirates as in Rio..... and of course his name is..... That is why we just love our Premiership.... unending drama.... ![]() |
Cannot even trim the damn bushes.... ![]() Why are we so different in this corner of the continent. |
thesicilian:Two thirds of those with PVC's cannot read or write....debates.... is this a joke? |
The people are too docile, weakened by sentiment to demand better governance. Their counterparts in other climes are holding their governments by the ball and squeezing out concessions because they are unified in what they want out of this life. |
Filatino:It is like you are not listening. The man has repeatedly told you folks that his followers want the Presidency or nothing. What do you want him to do. If he steps down he will be left butt n.aked. The average 'northerner' does not consider this rotational thing as desirable and will not play ball with other regions. This zero sum game is what other parties should note particularly the APC. That the Tinubu presidency is only in the minds of the elite, the 'talakawa' may have already decided for Atiku. |
At the headline he is absolutely right. The north is very parochial. And that is why without restructuring it is impossible to get leadership that is void of sectionalism. And yet another reason why the average PVC is useless as a force of positive change in Nigeria. |
Traumatized people. Yet they hold onto their sentiment with all vigour. |
Even the youth who are at the butt end of the choking mismanagement of democracy cannot summon the patriotism to simply do what is right. His education is a total waste. Next to no intelligence in his decayed skull. He should be sentenced to hard labour and made to build rural roads in bandit countryside so that he can taste of the effects of institutional corruption and avarice to the stability of this country |
