Even then it was reported as CCECC spent money in bringing them not Nigeria
In breach of the International Travel Ban. Does this make sense. They were smuggled here under the guise they were offering charity and logistics, then training and support, now they ate missing presumably doing what they intended to do all along. Nigerians have been swindled. They came to cater for their people, period.

Now which country does this. Why did the Italian not bring in doctors from Italy to treat him, including the Indian and other foreign nationals treated in our facilities. What makes the Chinese so special that they want to ride rhopshod over our healthcare system. Of course they give us money to build a railway line gives them the audacity.

It has started anyway. They are testingvthe waters and next time, probably like Lesotho China will send its police force to begin the foundations of a new state within a state.

If you can't be accountable, with all due respect Sir, you have no business being a Minister and a leader.
That is the nature of a feudal state. They rule you clap and bow, no questions. Yet people will troop out to cast their ballot with dud expectations. Can you imagine a Minister in a sensible country saying this. He will removed before sunset for embarassing the government.

This country will never get better until the horse pulls the cart. When government begins to fear the people things can start to move forward. But ot is tje lot of the Nigerian to sit idly and hope his tormentors have mercy.

There are domes all over Europe. The Capitol in DC has a massive dome. Its just an architectural extravagance that connotes power and authority taken from antiquity when the dome was the optimal structure to span vast spaces.

No religious context in it at all.

Beyond that even is the common practice of procreation where the wife is literaly criminalised for her inability to conceive at time or even more ridiculous is her so called failure to birth a male child.

And you see ignorant, dark.hearted men abuse and torture their wives because of this not knowing they are one in body and should be one in faith. Cruel, heartless men that have not the love of God in them.

Always slow to the uptake this WHO. Something known for months now. Viruses rarely go away. Name them. HIV, small pox, SARS, ebola, etc. Once established in the population can onliy be capped not exterminated. So how can a virus that is practically airborne passed by respiratory activity die off easily in a vastly shrunken and highly mobile world.

Once it cannot be shut out of a locality or community then it is pointless runing away or hiding from it. It is better to formulate strategies to combat it and continue life.

As the planet heats up, humans expand their habitation and the natural habitats of a lot species particularly the exotic ones come under threat more of these viruses will be released into the human population. The planet is basically fighting back to curtail the destructive advancement of man beyond his natural bounds.

I have read through quite a number of responses, some interesting, naturally others junk. There is one I want to bring to notice.

Someone quoted the Scriptures: 1 Timothy 5:8 to be exact with a slight misunderstanding in opinion.
God is not saying there that any man...or woman who CANNOT provide is an unbeliver or a faith denier. The New Living Translation is explanatory. It says, 'For those who WON'T care for their relatives, especially those in their own household...'

There is a difference between CANNOT and WILL NOT/WON'T. One describes a situation, the other describes an attitude. God is the ultimate provider so there is nothing any man has that has not been given to him from above, however He has placed a soul in every man that should desire love, the will to give. If absent it means the person has not the identity of God.

Throughout scripture there have been times of famine and abundance in the lives of nations, families, communities and men. Nowhere does God hold lack against man as sin. It is not asin to lack. That is not what the Word says.

So no spouse should hold the lack of resources on account against his partner and use it as a tool of intimidation or as an excuse for sin, be it a man fallen on hard financial times or perhaps a woman delayed in conception. It is when the man refuses and WON'T DO, WON'T DO anything about it that he denies the faith that can make whole.

So it is not a get out of jail card for the indolent. The Word makes it clear that with God no sotuation is impossible.

PS. It is possible to have the resources and yet be unwilling to take care of one's relations and household. That is the infidel status not the capacity status afterall even God does not give us everything we want, just what we need, wants coming at his pleasure.

Asour:
Does God specifically tell people who (the Person) to marry.
I know he acquiesces to people's proposal BUT does he really instruct who to marry?

How come we never saw this is in the Bible?

This is just an aside though but many people make this claim. The question now is if God specifically defines people to marry other people then those who have made wrong choices in life and then died, became really sick or mentally depraved have all "left" their God defined partners stranded. isn't it.

Or does God keep changing his mind— about 'the right partner' —when this happens.
Yes, you can be told specifically the person to bond with. Marraige is the most important inter human relationship to God and He takes great interest and makes great involvement in it.

Just as information is available to the researcher, just as secrets are open to the loving so is God's involvement in such a decision. You can be close enough to be specific, a bit further away to be impressed and yet futher away in your relationship with God to be opportuned, i.e He causes such a person to come your way.

The worst thing a man can do is either not to know these things or deliberately ignore them. For the ability of man to know the future is almost nil and his ability to read the heart of his partner to be is impossible. Marraige is long enough and complex enough not to need help from above.

This is just a slippery slope that will be exploited till the giftings reach budget status and beyond. Peace is priceless.

Some people will happy for this and be suggesting Dangote should have purchased these cars from Innoson company as if they have a single product of innoson. They are here already grin
Innoson and the others should be the brands of choice for many reasons amongst which it is a lot easier for these brands to customise their offerings to suit the needs of each law agency and it will be a lot cheaper to repair them at factory rather that at the workshop. Scale alone will make it cheaper to acquire them and keep them running.

For instance that Geely does a PIT manouver and its over, sold as scrap. If you have industry behind you, you ship it back to the factory, they see the challenges and reinforce the vehicle where necessary. The police is satisfied and the automaker is enhanced technically. With our present culture we cannot develop, period.

The problem is the maintenances can the police. Maintain an for 6 month without any scratch
Police cars/cruisers are not meant to be pampered. They are operational vehicles subjdct to the hazards of crime. If things are done properly police forces order for custom built vehicles which are backed by the first line maintenance at the police motorpool and where they are badly damaged are sent back to the manufacturer.

Like most things about Nigeria you need industry to support quality, availability and dignity. If the Nigeria Police is to be seen with decent vehicles at all times they will have to be manufactured in Nigeria where they can be repaired at minimal cost, simple.

With the right structure we can have our local automotive companies customise vehicles for the police and enter into maintenance contracts with the force. But here personal interests has ensured the military and paramilitary forces engage every automobile brand under the sun and this unmanageable number has led to misuse, abuse and gross waste of resources.

Very sad read. All I can say is, this is where it is important to recognize the role of God in the life of a man.

The God that sees the heart of a future partner and can match make to last even the harshest storm.

A God that can teach wisdom so that every matter is handled expertly with sure, positive results.

A God that your fellow man, your partner will revere and respect even if they lose respect for you.

There are far too many points to analyse here, far too many wrong moves, far too many failed do's and unavoided don't that one can only summarize that we only live succesfully and have real peace by the grace of God and God alone.

What I simply suggest is to get to God for help and for the basic of wisdom BEFORE YOU TAKE THE NEXT IMPORTANT DECISION. In such trauma you experience now it is all too easy to serialize wrong moves. Most likely you will make another one.

Just stay calm, do absolutely nothing for a while, then seek God, the living God for peace.

CNN just reported Covid 19 may never go away. We just have to live and deal with it like another strain of the seasonal flu will all get.

These lockdowns and curfews are pointless. The lockdown strategy in America was so that the virus does not overwhelm their healthcare system at once. They started reopening as soon as the number of cases reached a manageable level. What’s our own reason for lockdown when we have zero healthcare in Nigeria to begin with? We just dey do copy copy with no strategy behind it.

Let people go about their business and trust them to practice good hygiene. Those who are foolish will contract the virus and perhaps they deserve it. Experience is the best teacher after all.
Good morning.

You're living in fantasy land. I tell you, if this country implodes there will not be enough policemen and soldiers to prevent anarchy. You will look for a rock to hide under and find none.

The goverment supported Covid 19 battle is long lost. The only thing left is to transfer liability to the citizens the same way ebola and HIV was handled. Manage the crises on the streets. The higher the death count the better citizen compliance will be until the figures stabilize.

Salary earners who have not lost their jobs yet, single people who work online, essential workers, etc, will vote yes. Most others would vote no.

A lockdown is the most brainless way to fight the Coronavirus. Our leaders need to use their wits and imagination to figure out better, smarter ways.

We cannot afford to wreck the economy by locking it down. If we wreck the economy then where will we get the money needed to fight the virus?

Yet, we cannot afford to allow lots of people to get sick and be killed by the virus. The fear of being infected is enough to wreck the economy.

The only way forward is to use face-masks and enforce science-based infection minimization rules to protect lives and also protect the economy.

It is crucial to understand that, as a poor country with a large population, we don’t have the luxury of choosing between saving lives and saving the economy. If we lose one, we will surely lose the other.
Been singing the hymn since January. And as predicted the lockdown was lifted nothing was gained. Figures still rising, economy damaged. No gain left, no gain right. This is the result of incompetent leadership everywhere you look.

I come to this forum everyday shouti g for a goverment strategy to capture Covid in Nigeria. They say I talk too much. That lockdown is the strategy. I tell them, lockdown is like anaethesia. It creates opportunity to operate. But if the surgeon is busy drinking at the pub what is the point. The patient will not be cured.

The goverment has squandered 2 months, billions of naira in GDP and sent millions into the unemployment market and into abject poverty over a paltry 30,000 tests. What a waste.
