I dont even know any tangible thing I've done since morning. This doctor after delaying after several hours came and told me to stop d amlodipine and vasoprin d private doctor prescribed for me. He wrote out some tests and said it will cost me 11k. He said he'll need to do it in another hospital but I'm suspicious cos d test can be done in the teaching hospital. He collected d money from me and took my blood and urine sample right in his office. He told me to come back on Monday for d result. I'm.just been suspicious abt d whole thing......This place is a teaching hospital I

He wrote some drugs for me and told me to get them but I can't afford them cos I've given him all d money with me. He told me to buy Cocodemol Realflex and Clopidopril.

Medical personnel in d house pls what don't advice cos I'm still in d hospital and I feel like going back to him to collect back my money.

Even d Ecg test that took me there is not part of d test.

A lot of people on this nairaland are very toxic. Some are even mocking her for marrying the man.

Well, here is one thing, this world is a spherical place and everything we give comes back to us one way or another.

I don't know the woman personally, but I am very happy for her. She must have been through a lot and I give it to her. She is very brave to have still chosen to get married.

Now for you people saying ill about her, you think it's easy to come online and type rubbish. Just be careful how u talk about people.
This is one of the principles for long life.

Exactly.

We are saying the same thing.

At 40 ladies are now making money except for special cases. So, marriage is now optional except for special cases!

Rich ladies prefer to have babies on their own now, no more husbands.

Yes o, in fact, rather than marrying the wrong man because of pressure, they'll simply wait, make their own money, choose a suitable husband or stay single, then have a child or two.

A 55 year old divorcee with 2 kids is the same as a single never married 55 year old lady with 2 kids.

All are single mothers.

It's even better sef, no drama, no nasty in laws, no messy divorce, no property fight.

Since they have expired to you, they can still live out their desires with or, most of the time, without you.

Good day all

pls pardon my write up. i hava been dating this lady now for over a year now and i plan to wife her anytime from now, we both stayed together for awhile till she got her present job in an hotel in the eyebrow area of lagos state. we both in same state. the problem on hand started when a family member drew my attention to the fact that she was smoking shisha at work and she posted it but she rushed to delete it before i could view it. i was full of rage i called her immediately and she started giving some flimsy excuse of its her first time, she has not done it before and all that shit. i talked to her in a very harsh voice for her to feel my hanger.

but since that incidence i have been looking back, she just love posting any slight exciting move she makes, if i move to a new apartment for example she starts to snap next thing its uploaded on whatapp, i am a very conservatives person, i dont like either me or anything associated with me displayed in the show glass of social media.

i have talked to her over time about this but its seems not to be effective, no matter how much i scolded her she will still come back begging.

and i will like to ask this question is it advisable to marry someone that works in a hotel, mind you we both matured am 34 and shes is 27
Break up now.

Your feelings already broke your home.

Only with the help of your wife can you put it back together.

At this point you have to decide which is more important:

Getting the side chick or keeping your home intact.

I hope you'll make the wise decision and I wish you well.

P. S. If you're afraid of her outbursts, see a counselor first to sort out your feelings, then get a mediator to come with you before confessing to her. Then you'll have to be transparent with her.

If you don't have a skeleton in your cupboard, you will bear it until things clear up and your marriage will come out stronger. You'll be surprised by how much she'll trust you after this.

P. P. S. You have to move that lady far away from your workplace and home before your wife designs her face out of anger.

I wish you the best. You got this.

Family › Re: Debunking The Myths About Male Infertility. by Saintmary(f): 11:02am On Jan 19, 2022
kaffy4bill:
❇️ Thinking of having kids? If you are a man, there’s nothing to worry about, right?

❇️ There are a lot of misconceptions around men’s fertility and with so much information out there, it’s hard to know what to believe.

❇️ So, i thought we would clear up three common myths.

Myth 1: Fertility, or infertility, is a woman's problem

It’s a common belief that infertility is a ‘woman’s problem’, but this simply isn’t true. In fact, men contribute to around half of all fertility issues. For about 20% of infertile couples, the problem lies solely with the male partner, and for about 30% of couples it’s to do with both partners.

Myth 2: It’s only the woman’s health that matters when it comes to having a baby.

This just isn’t the case.
There are a number of things that can harm the production of sperm, including:
• Smoking
• Drinking too much alcohol
• Sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
• Heat stress from tight-fitting underwear
• Steroid misuse
• Coming into contact with harmful chemicals.

Myth 3: Men can continue to have healthy children throughout their lives

Another common myth around men’s fertility is that age isn’t a factor. While it’s true that men in their 70s, and beyond, can still father children, fertility, particularly sperm quality, is affected by age.

❇️ A couple’s responsibility begins before pregnancy, because both the egg and sperm are affected by both partners’ medical history and lifestyle choices. When you’re considering starting a family, you need to be in the best possible health and making smart choices around drugs and smoking, weight control, and management of medical conditions.

❇️ Men’s fertility generally depends on the quantity and quality of their sperm. If the quality of your sperm is low, it can be difficult or even impossible to get your partner pregnant.

❇️ About two-thirds of men with fertility issues have a problem with low numbers of sperm and/or sperm that doesn’t work as it’s meant to.

❇️ In the other third of cases, the issue is related to how the sperm travel, sexual problems (like erectile dysfunction or low sex drive), low levels of hormones, sperm antibodies or genetic problems.

❇️ There are issues associated with being an older father that could impact their children. There’s a higher chance in children being diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) or mental health issues as a consequence of their father’s age.

❇️ Infertility is a couple’s problem. If you and your partner have been trying to get pregnant for 12 months without success, even if one partner has a child from another relationship, you should both be checked by a medical professional.

❇️ Whether you’re thinking about having a baby or not, it’s always important to separate the truths from the myths when it comes to your health.

What happened years ago? He had impregnated a certain young lady in 2014. Same person. Same occurrence. Who settled the matter? Family. And he's 3-4 years older than I am. Guess what? I wasn't close to him when it happened in 2014 and the girl in question came from an irresponsible money driven and alcoholic drunk family.

I'm nice to her, sometimes I try to bring up things we could just talk about, but she replies me like I'm forcing her to talk.

She's too full of herself, probably because she's a PhD holder. Honestly I don't understand.
Try not to criticize people who are ahead of you.

Once you get your Ph.D, and you're properly married, you'll understand why she's feeling herself.

However, she's a little tough in my opinion but give her space. Obviously she's way ahead of you so if you show a little respect, she'll soften towards you.

Selecting food in your brother's house may seem rude to her. Watch her well, if she avoids doing what she complains about to other people, then maybe she's asking for the respect she is giving you.

Please reduce entitlement mentality this new year and focus on your personal achievements. Good luck.

You have no right to question God, you are just one of His creatures, you are a mere human being created from dust. You have not finish telling the president of your own country how to live His life, you are here trying to dictate for God, the greatest authority of all, you must be high on something. You did not enthrone God so He is not asking you for permission to continue reigning or ruling.

The president of a country has authority over the citizens and he has every right to give laws and punish law breakers. God is even more than the world president, He has authority over all of us including the presidents. He is the one that will determine your fate whether you like it or not.

Can't you see your pride is worthless? You cannot even go to the presidential villa to question your president and you think you can question the Almighty God. Have you forgotten that you are ordinary dust and you will surely become dust again? You are just an ordinary, powerless being that has no power to decide his own fate. You, an empty barrel actually think God will have time for your childish ranting, even Presidents don't have time for daily ranting of citizens.
I implore you, please focus on yourself and your spiritual life, lots of people are blinded by the veil covering their minds so they can't perceive the Truth.

Don't argue with them please.

Good day my fellow Nairalanders!!!, I will be brief and precise to the situation . It all started 19yrs ago, when my father chased my mother away and married another woman , I am the first born and I already have three other siblings , now we are ten , the second wife gave birth to six and she is still pregnant. My dad was financially buoyant to cater for the family because he deals on drugs and due to high demand money flows in but in the last six years things have changed especially when he had problem with Nafdac people , he was banned from selling drugs and he switched to motor parts business which is not as lucrative as drug business. Seeing d situation of things and having known first hand experience of bboth business , I choosed the drug business, since two years now I am doing well but my father usually gives me unnecessary expenses which am not comfortable with , I cater for my younger sisters in school to him it is not enough , he wants me to sponsor my step mum children too citing that am the first born and it is my responsibility , I am really confused , am yet to start my own family and this man is here giving me headache like as if I was the one that brought my step siblings to this world , please if you are in my shoes what will you do ? Please moderators take it to the front page
So, now that you are getting better financially, what have you done for your mother?

Let's start from there.

I'll be going for service in a few months and I've got someone who has offered to help me with my posting. She asked me to choose practically any state of my choice except Abuja.

Interestingly, Abuja has always been my first choice (I've got family over there--feeding & accommodation won't be a problem).

But since Abuja is out of the table, I'm a bit conflicted as to which state to pick.

First, I don't like Lagos. That's out of it.
Secondly, I don't want to teach.
Thirdly, I need somewhere with a considerable cost of living (cheap food and housing).

So basically, I need a state where I can begin life as a bachelor and hopefully, get a job or start a thriving business.
This means my preference would be a state bubbling with economic activities and a low cost of living.

I need your suggestions, guys.

Where would you suggest I do my NYSC, going by my aforementioned criteria and your personal experiences?
Pick Nasarawa. It's close to Abuja and you can have easy access to FCT benefits and be close to your family.
