When was your last trip? Just curious if you passed through the new or the old terminal. immortalcrown: No! The workers dey even beg travelers money. I have used many airports outside Nigeria where I enjoyed free WiFi and didn't pay for trolley. Lagos international airport that has no free WiFi charged me for trolley both during my departure and during my arrival. I don't know if the trolley charge has stopped.
ADDED Many have quoted me, saying Lagos airport has free WiFi. The WiFi discovered by my phone at the airport when I used the airport could not provide internet. The WiFi I use in other airports just connects and works fine. Maybe I checked from a wrong corner (distance) or I used Lagos airport when there was an issue with the WiFi. |

Reno Omokri @renoomokri
When Peter Obi was lying to the Nigerian public about Nigeria's #COP28 so-called 1411 delegation, one thing he forgot to mention to you is that his right-hand man and ally, Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigerian Labour Congress, who campaigned for him during the election, was also a delegate from Nigeria.
He hid this from you and was inciting you. Why? Because he was not really outraged. He wanted you to believe the lie that Tinubu paid for everybody to be there. He just wanted to manipulate your minds for his dead-on-arrival 2027 Presidential ambition!
This is the same Ajaero that they said needed urgent lifesaving medical treatment. He sure looks frail here!

Clear evidence that they never started Lagos just as the Oyinbo colonialists never started Lagos. The Binis at the height of their power colonized and returned home, the Oyinbos also came, colonized and returned to their home. The real owners remained. Simple! Unless you lived with him in Benin, the first time you could ever watch Aghahowa play was in 1999 during African Youth Championship in Ghana or most likely during Nigeria 99 World Youth Championship. He was officially listed as a 19 year old at that point (I think he should be about 5 years older in reality). If you are now in your late 30s, you were never that much of a "kid" in 1999. That is the responsibility of the people and the government. Listen to warnings before you make your purchase. There is something called "due diligence" and there are entities/professionals that help with that if you are not into cutting corners and patronizing quacks to save some money. You are spending millions on a project, spend it wisely. Do your due diligence and don't opt to "settle the matter Naija way" when obvious issues are pointed out. Many of us have rejected purchase of properties that we are not comfortable with, government did not ask us to reject those questionable properties. odonkoro: Is it not the responsibility of government to stop building being erected on a land that perhaps may block flowing of water during raining season before such building is fully completed? If it is, then where were the government agency responsible for that is when such building was being constructed to the level that the building is ready to be occupied before demolition squad noticed it. If they are aware and allow the building to be fully completed before demolition, then, demolishing such building is an act of wickedness. If the owner of such building is aware that where such building is being erected constitute menace to the environment and still go ahead to erect the building, such developer should face the consequences of their actions; so as to serve as a deterrent to their likes. This is my humble opinion. |

I see some of our people are outraged? ... but where was your outrage when you disparage each others' way of life? You make 'smart' remarks at akpu, amala, ewedu, okpa, abacha, fura de nunu etc forgetting that outsiders are taking notes. You couldn't see beyond your nose but outraged when others do exactly what you do. Your school is the best and any achievement by another must be rubbished. Your ethnicity is the best (which is okay, but why disparage others to prove that?). You are quick to spot the bad in others but blind to yours. Your village is the best. Your state is the best. Your people are the best. Your culture is the best. Your faith is the best. Anything you can't relate with must be ridiculed. Everything is always from your own limited perspective. Get educated! |

The pretense, or maybe ignorance, of a typical Nigerian is sometimes funny.
If you truly live in Nigeria and know how we roll, you won't be online blaming any government. I am sure most of us know the reality but many are feigning ignorance online. Government will tag 'X' on a property and construction will keep going on because the owner of the building already assured them he will settle the boys at government offices. We know how we roll and when the game is over, just admit it's over! |

It's a very big country. People are in danger everywhere with varying degrees of mortality. I can't judge the entire USA with the crime rate in South Chicago or Baltimore or Nigeria with what's happening in some bandits' stronghold or based on the recent lynching in Onitsha. Based on those, It is very easy for a foreigner with a similar mindset to yours to also say USA no be am or Nigeria no be am. ceejay80s: My cousin was shot dead in Brazil few years back... Wisdom! LordAdam16: Davido will not be at the top forever.
Early this month, Wizkid revealed he's going on a hiatus. It wasn't long ago that this thread surmised that OBO wasn't as 🔥 as he used to be.
The Adelekes have a sprawling business empire. When Davido is through with this phase, Israel can be slotted into any high-powered position he remotely qualifies for. He could go get an MBA if he has a first degree. If he wants to go his own way, all he has to do is bring an idea. Raising the capital will not be arduous.
Interestingly, dude is balling. He is not brownnosing without dividends, nor is he getting dividends and frittering it away. He owns real estate, he owns cars, apparently he has side gigs. He is your quintessential responsible Nigerian man who tried to make a honest woman out of a 21 yr old.
I'm not sure what his crime is.
There's a time for everything. Time to sow. Time to reap. Time to take a break. He is paying his dues now. And he couldn't have picked a better aristocratic family to serve. Every blue blood in this country has bag holders. Every single one. These bag holders are usually well compensated. They have their own families. It's been this way since the dawn of time.
Sheila is your average woman who lacks foresight. There is nothing surprising about her actions.
Both parties will be fine. Sheila will get her fill of white-collar professional, jakparian, royal, politician, and business magnate c*ck. If she's lucky, a clown will attempt to monopolize her wh*re holes later on. That will end poorly as well. Israel definitely has her replacement lined up. He is only going through the 5 stages of grief, which is understandable when you treat women as an investment class 🤦♂️.
