It really depends on how long they broke up and if they actually officially broke up, not the hide and seek relationship they might be doing because of his mum. It's not really easy to move on after a breakup, especially one caused by a parent's decision. Digesting the information by reading. Widely. Find an area you're interested in like sports. Read the sports page of newspapers. Watch and listen to sports broadcasters and observe their use of things like grammar, semantics and figures of speech. You'll know your proficiency in a language is high when you start to understand and apply things like sarcasm, metaphors and satire effortlessly.

Practice: Speak and write the things you have learned. This is imperative and be ready to make a lot of mistakes. But believe that you have the God given ability to learn anything and be perfect, so far you're ready to put in the work.

The closest I had came in contact with a ghost was when a very close, dear family member died years ago. So we all went for the burial. In one quick dash, I sprung towards her and circled my arms around her in that mixed feeling of fear and excitement. I didn't care one bit about the consequences of my action, all I wanted was to have her back. She made to free herself but my grips were iron tight.
Then she called my name in utter surrender, that was when I recognized the voice. It was one of my aunties who had also came for the burial and was outside to also pee. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.
It was a very closed call for me to had seen a real ghost.
