Goodplace:
If Someone is in a work of 80k per month can he afford a place of 200k with no side income yet?
It all depends on you,if you value comfort,if you value stress free life,if you value privacy,go for it bro.
₦200k is just a decent amount for a fairly decent accomodations in Lagos depending on the location.
Do not listen to those saying it's unrealistic.
All you need to do is cut out unnecessary expenses and be focus.
But if you wouldn't mind waking by 4am and returning by 12am there are houses in outskirts where you can pay less.

Any one year rent that cost more than my two month salary is not worth it... Presently my one year rent is less than my salary in one month. All you need do is save up to half you monthly salary for a year especially if you're still single, use it to buy land, no matter how small the land is and start building your own house. If you re buying a land in a developed place, the land might be smaller but if you're buying from a developing area, you might get a bigger space. All depends on the area you want. Am not just talking but speaking from experience.
Thank your stars that ọmọ onile still had a lot of land to sell around your property, you for don hear am.
Building a house when you earn a salary of less than ₦150k will put you in under more pressure.,it is not as easy as people think.
₦200k is more than a decent deal to pay on a rent when you earn ₦80k a month, all you need is just to look at the job security,of there is guarantee that your job is secure for the next 5yrs,you are good to go.

Until when you know the

1. soil topography,

2.Assets on the right of way,(Gas pipelines, Power lines and Phylons, Bridges to be demolished and rebuild)

3. Number of stations on the way (Qualify, Diameter, Facilities involved)

4.Standard or just rail line as some one rightly said,Dual or single track.

5. Maintenance agreement.

6.Mode and time of finance

Construction and project executions are not usually 1+1 that leads to two.

we know most time's things are inflated in Nigeria but lets refrain from judging until when you see the final details of the projects to compare and contrast

The Nigerian Railway Corporation reportedly hired three NAF helicopters to guard a train on its journey from Abuja to Kaduna. According to a Twitter user, the Nigerian Railway corporation hired the three NAF helicopters on a ‘private deal’ to guard the train which had two Nigerian Senators and other high ranking officers as its passengers.

My happiness was busted when one of d Nigerian Railways Corporation staff checkn our tickets informed us that d Corporation hired d 3 Helicopters on a private deal to guard us to Kaduna. I was further convinced by his explanation when I did not see d inscription of the Police on any of d Helicopters. That ws how 3 Helicopters hovered over us this mornn until we reached Rigasa.

Earlier today, at the General Aviation Terminal, Ikeja – more popular known as Murtala Mohammed Local Airport 1, some foreigners were seen siting on the floor while waiting to board their flights.

These individuals decided to assume that sitting position due to the insufficient seating arrangement for travelers at the departure hall of the airport.

Ordinarily, due to the limited amount of seats at the departure hall, more travelers are left to stand. However, these foreigners decide to defy the norm by finding seating position on the floor.

I know both have the same coverage,i also know the private insurance cost 4% of the cost of the vehicle, but I am looking at the one which is more affordable,so I can save cost.

So, I was going through my mail. And I saw this timely writeup below by Quora.com user Alexandra Goldhar. I consider the write up to be a wake up call to Nigerians. This is because it shows us what others really think of us, and how corruption and 419 eyaff pour sand-sand for our garri.

Do you know that Australians are taught in classrooms that Nigerians go through old hard drives of imported second-hand computers to get passwords to steal information from people abroad? (Is that true?)

Read below to find out how Australians view our dear country. Some of the views are funny. Others not so funny.

Minister of Information, Government and Nigerian journalists, you have a lot of work to do o!

In fact, every Nigerian, we need to change our international image fast!

Or else one day, foreigners may be looking at you the way they were looking at the narrator after the cut: as if you have come to their country to steal their hard drives.

What does an Australian

think of Nigerians?

[b]Alexandra Goldhar

"I was once invited to a friend’s house for dinner and I was asked by her mother, ‘what is Nigeria known for’. I was about to mention food, music and movies but this friend’s younger sister blurted out ‘corruption’. Everyone else on the table laughed. Then the father started talking about Nigerian prince scams and all other nonsense. I was told apparently that the sister wrote a paper on Nigeria and corruption.

" I was in a computer class once and the teacher was teaching about e-waste and how in Nigeria, people go through old hard drives and such and find passwords which are then used to steal information from people abroad. I kid you not, the whole class turned around and looked at me like I was going to steal all their money.

"Other conversations with Australians include them thinking there are no fancy cars in Nigeria, that there is crime and a lot of theft, scams as usual , poverty is rampant etc.

"So, the reaction to Nigeria is not very positive.

"However, I should add that the Aboriginal and Torres strait Islander population have a more positive view. I have Indigeonous friends who want to visit Nigeria with me and ask about the food, music and culture."

http://zikistmovement.igbodefender.com/2019/01/06/shocking-you-wont-believe-what-australians-are-taught-about-nigerians-and-computer-hard-drives/
it's a normal practice any where in the whole world to remove your Hard Drive when selling or dumping your old computing system, Reverse engineering and stealing of classified information is not peculiar to NIGERIANs alone.

I think we deviated from what the OP said.

He said work permit.
And yes if it was a work permit it is likely the uncle processed it using his own company or a friend's company in which case the uncle can withdraw the sponsorship since he is no longer in his employment.
I suspect what the uncle did was to bring him back to nigeria at the point the work permit expired in which case erased the opportunity for the guy to look for another job n enable the new job to sponsor his work permit n ensure his continued stay in the country.

Since he is back in nigeria n the work permit he had is probably expired ( and the sponsors of the work permit would hv likely informed the uk govt that they are no longer sponsoring him) he cannot go back to the uk, thus he has to get a new visa based on his own merit (most likely a holiday visa or any other type inclu another sponsor for a work visa/permit).

So YES he made the mistake of returning with his uncle, and he has NO WAY of fighting this.

***I don't know why my previous comment had resident permit. Perhaps the op modified his post or was simply an oversight on my part. However what i stated about a resident permit holds. Once u are a resident u have unlimited access to the country safe for voting. And as a citizen u hv same rights as a natural born. All those ur comments as regards PR is FALSE.
Go n read up UK citizenship n residency.
Dude,There are so many things that has changed over the years,I have a female friend whose father was a student in UK in the late 60's,he had a British passport before he returned home in the 70's,got married and had all his children in nigeria.ever since he returned he has never stepped into UK again, the first daughter Saw the old passport and took it to Eleke, the passport was ceased from her and was ask to go call her father, the father turned up and the ownership was confirmed, passport renewed and details of children taken backed with DNA test right there at Eleke......
Fastforwad, Uk Passports were issued to all the children, this was in 2005/6 .then the law changed in 2008/9 that the offsprings of those children can not automatically inherit that citizenship from the parents the way those kids inherited theirs,it is either (1) they are born in the UK or (2) One of the children must be born in the UK for it to be able to cover the siblings (3) those who were born outside the UK must live a certain years in UK before they could be entitled to the passport.

This Lady husband have a well paying job in Nigeria, she is also doing well business wise so there is no point living in the UK,but she was forced to leave for with the son UK somefew months ago in order to be able to secure a passport for the son born here since they have not had another child.

You need to know that thing's are no longer static, rules are changing,I have seen someone with ILR forcefully deported back to Nigeria, and his family are all citizen, bro whatever you hold today is not a guarantee, just becareful and stick your ear to the ground for the changing information

Residency card is just a form of identification in case you are stopped by the police or immigration, you can not board an aircraft and travel on residency card,,it can not stand in lieu of passport.
Residency card with different Years of validity,o have seen that of a year and I have seen that of 2yrs,is not ILR And can not replace ILR,the subject has a condition attached to that card/Visa,so stop confusing yourself

Very simple case. Go to the UK embassy and report the matter. He will be given a temporary travel document which he can travel back to the UK with...of cuz he should get a new nigerian passport ( he can apply for a new resident card when he gets there). He can get his uncle imprisoned (if the uncle is presently in the UK) for forced labour since his uncle seized his personal documents and restricted his free movement.

He absolutely has no problem.
Says who? before they can issue him/her anything, the sponsor opinion will be sought, infact a letter duly signed by him must accompany any Application base on that case.
The best Chances he had was when he was in UK,he should have raised an alarm, trust me he would have been under some sort of protection (assylum) and that would have earned the uncle a Criminal record, but this guy Mumu so tay he follow the uncle come Naija like say na jazz.

We are both involved in hustling in Lagos, Nigeria. The hustle hasn't paid off big time yet but we get by with about 3- 5 Mill earnings annually. We used to do much more than that until 3 years ago.

I have had significant international exposure having lived in UK as a child and also bisited all continents in the last 5 years.
If reaching and beating Dangote and Adenuga's wealth is your aim,you better stay back here in Nigeria and continue managing what you have and be thinking of how you can make more.
if living a convenient life and plotting same for your children is your aim,you can move to any of these countries you have in mind.
Living abroad does NOT BRING YOU FORTUNE except you are a rare PROFESSIONAL,going by what you have laid out here don't waste your time, money and effort in relocating it doesn't worth it.
