Humm...this post touch me. I give birth a week ago to my first baby, and CS was never an option I ever dreamt of, but after I had labour for hours,I had to be scanned n it showed my water was insufficient to have a natural birth. The doctors told me CS was my way out. I had to accept to save my life and my baby. Still nursing the cut and pains my mother in law look me in the eyes and insulted me that I was too lazy to push my baby out. She has been telling people and even to my face that I wasted her son's money on CS all because I couldn't push. she said I didn't labour. I am hurt by her words but I pray God have mercy on her.

I've been thinking about this today. With all the political miscalculations of the SE ibo leadership and the ibo people (majority) themselves, can we ever have an ibo president under Nigeria's current political framework - is there a way out? In my opinion, as of now, the likely ibo candidates with political prospects on a national scale are Rotimi Ameachi and Rochas Okorocha. But even these two are noticeably rejected by a considerable population of the SE. So just how is it possible for an ibo presidency, say 2019 (most unlikely) or 2023 or 2027 etc? How can the ibos achieve this? What do the ibo people need to do that they haven't been doing, and/or what are they already doing that they need to stop doing? Now i'm not talking about Biafra, so keep that out of this matter. All objective contributions devoid of sentiments and tribalistic vituperations are welcomed.

When men are at a good economic standing, they will marry.

There are more men than women in Nigeria. There would be more men in Nigeria not married than women unless you want to claim some dodgy statistics now. I guess focusing on women is more catchy when we talk about marriage . The economy is not viable enough for marriage so more Nigerian men than women are not getting married either.

Suitors will always come, so Nigerian women in Nigeria have a large pool of numbers to choose from. So it makes sense that it's their parents spoiling things for them and not because there's scarcity of men.

I always say it here that Nigerian parents will baby you till you or them die, especially as a female. Some people wanted to crucify one time because I advised one girl that she needs to start challenging her parents decisions when it comes to her life. This is the end result 30-40 year old girls that cannot stand up to their parents, bloody hell.

By education do you mean teaching kids or having a career goal in academia? Scientists do come to that crossroad of choosing between going into industry or academia.
If I can guess correctly using my Nigerian sense, I think by education you mean being a school teacher. Well, teaching kids for the meantime is not bad, but you need to think ahead, think of the future. You need to ask questions like Can I define my ultimate career goal? Are there any technical skills I need to have to fulfill this career goal and how can I get those skills? What certificate courses can I add to my geology degree to boost my resume in order to make myself still relevant in the work space?

And yes I do say thank you after every ride. The drivers are very, very courteous too.
