This is really painful. May God grant her loved ones the fortitude to bear the loss and may the killers suffer from this earth to the hereafter.

By the way, what is the latest about the BRT driver that was accused of killing that young girl? We need to always keep these things on the front burner until justice is done, lest we forget!

If 2023 election is about the next generation, why don't you consider giving Mr Peter Obi the opportunity to revive the economy.

Na play na play, 4 to 8 years go just go; graduates are churned out, more children are born, more dreams should be realised.

You know Mr Peter Obi will not steal. He will lead others to save billions of dollars from being wasted in the name of budget padding...

He has the blueprint already...2023 should be about the economy. Take care of the economy, give youths jobs, then banditry, terrorism, other vices won't be attractive...

Nigerians: This is our chance! Let every tribe, tongue, religion, group, body support Mr Peter Obi. You know he is the man for the job...
I applaud you for the sane way that you just marketed your candidate. I wish a lot more people would learn from you instead of being abusive, selling the candidature of one's preferred candidate requires advocacy and persuasion; not being abusive to other people and their candidates.

Gej is not a Yoruba man..

He’s not desperate

The idiot that they used his brain to remove him is now running around begging like an almajiri while his urchins say he’s consulting

They Gej he hated is now loved by his masters ..
Tinubu is truly shameless... for his party to even consider Gej .. is alone to humble and shame the Yoruba god.

But trust Yoruba man Na... nothing dey shame them.. is all about sophistication

Yoruba must be on ballot .. and after all this noise in theeeweeks time and no major party hVe yorub as candidate eh..

Till then

Power to the people

North 2023
I hardly quote tribal jingoists like you who draw their relevance from stoking the embers of ethnicity.

I do not understand why you always the draw the whole Yoruba race into your unguarded vituperations and if if your angst is with Tinubu, I concede that you have a right not to support him.

I am sure that I do not need to tell you that it is a fact that not all Yorubas support Tinubu's ambition in the same as evidenced by the likes of Pa Adebanjo canvassing for an Igbo man to become the President at this moment, same thing with Deji Adeyanju.

The same Tinubu's ambition is being supported by several other people drawn from the 6 geo-political zones. So, why make it a Yoruba project.

In 2019, GEJ went to all regions to seek the blessings of the people that matter including Yoruba obas and Fulani cultural groups, rightfully so as politics is all about having the majority in your corner: that is not desperation. Tinubu going around to seek support from people should not be seen as desperation as democracy is about popular support.

We can enrich the selection process and democracy by engaging the candidates more logically to expose their weaknesses rather than resorting to abuses!

Eriokanmi:
This kidnsp of a thing always has police collaboration in it. The Edo and other south south region is even worse. The day kidnappers would be having a field day, you'd not see a single police on the road. Thieves would be robbing at a close range and the police would look the other way at their checkpoint. Things cannot continue this way. That's why I'm in support of the interim government as proposed by Pa Afe Babalola, former AG of the federation. We can't say someone like him proposing such a great move either has a pecuniary motive or doesn't mean well for Nigeria. He's lived his life to the fullest, only awaiting glorious call. Nobody can also say such a legal luminary doesn't know or think before putting forward such a proposal. He's one of the few nationalists we have around. Things have become awry in every sector, not only in defence. Any politicians who oppose this move is either an enemy of state or a greedy fellow. No security, no jobs, no meaningful life, no education, no electricity, no infrastructure, nothing. I wonder why they're still in government.

With the interim government any politicians found culpable in these mess would not be under any shield or immunity. Our constitution would need to be amended to address all the agitations and perceived inequalities in the country. Boko haram who said western education has failed them, they need to ask them questions and put things right. Everyone needs a good life. Anyone who has seen where boko haram had been killed would know they're not looking good. They fight with their blood for a government style which they believe would give them a good life.

2023 elections isn't what we need right now. If buhari, a war general and former head of state could fail this woefully, if pdp couid not bring any meaningful development to the doorsteps of Nigerians since 1999, If the preceding military era couldn't fare better which led to agitation for democracy, then constitution amendment is inevitable to address several areas, except we want to keep deceiving ourselves and if we want tovremain as a united Nigeria
Before thinking of an Interim National Government (ING), what would it's composition? Even the ones that are elected as leaders in Nigeria keep misbehaving and despite fact that they derive their power from the electorates our elected leaders seem not care about the masses.

Why do you think members of an ING that do not owe their appointments to electorates would do anything to favour the masses? I am yet to be convinced of the workability of an Interim National Government.

Although, I totally agree that the country needs a constitutional amendment, unfortunately the 2 Presidents of Southern extraction that we had (OBJ and GEJ) failed in that regards and I doubt that a Northerner as President would want to destroy the system as it is because the lopsidedness favours them.

Foolish people. Many people are languishing in prisons for stealing petty things like phones yet a president who rose to power on his anti corruption mantra has the temerity to give presidential pardon to 2 governors who were convicted after lengthy judicial process.

So what would APC, campaign with this next election? Buhari is the most deceptive person I have ever seen in my life.

I really don't understand why folks are using Panadol for Will Smith's headache. Perhaps, having some other person shag his wife is a fetish; people do have fetishes that some of us may describe as being stupid but it is their life. I stand to be corrected, but I haven't seen anywhere that Will Smith raised dust over Jada's extra-marital affairs.

Hmmm! Please, go online and Google "is data analysis part of marketing" and "the difference between digital marketing and data analysis." Get acquainted with the information you find and come back here to clarify. I'm willing to learn.

In all modesty, I own and run fullstack digital marketing agency and I am a facilitator/CEO of a digital marketing training program. So, I should be abreast of tech trends. Except there is something I am missing here.

Educate me.
Again thanks for the revert. Bro, I don't need to go online to ask those questions.

Your thesis that "data analysis is a sub of digital marketing because digital marketing involves data analysis" is as fallacious as saying that "medicine is a sub of anatomy because it involves anatomy".

Let me explain further to you, that most of the tools that you use as a digital marketer rely on the data analytics tools (softwares) that were built with the help of digital scientists who built models to predict or classify user behaviours based on certain predictors such as user demographics or historical preferences.

Data science is too big to be a sub of digital marketing even though digital marketing cannot survive without data analysis.

Learn digital marketing because it is all encompassing. Data analysis is a subset of digital marketing.

Mastering digital marketing makes you a consultant or specialist and you can make money online at the flip of finger.
I am sorry to say that you are wrong. Digital marketing is good but data analysis is not a subset of digital marketing. Infact Digital marketing analysis (example: Google Analytics) is a subset of data analysis.

God helping me, I intend to train and mentor some would be data analysts right here.
PoliticsRe: Train Attacks: Buhari Approves Railway Surveillance Contract by teepain: 10:28am On Apr 08, 2022
[quote author=Truthisunique2 post=111754764]there was never a project executed by amaechi in this government that isn't a success

Osinbajo that buhari gave the economic team to manage before their tenure expires he should come and tell us how far he has used this so called meticulous nature of his to checkmate the fraud that the minister of finance, cbn governor, nnpc have been committing under his watch that economy has nose dived
For the records, Osinbajo stopped being the head of the economic management team since 2019. The Economic Advisory Committee headed by Prof Doyin Salami with Solido and others as members replaced the economic management team.

See link for more details:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.theafricareport.com/17343/nigeria-the-politics-behind-buharis-new-economic-team/amp/

Don't be deceived osinbajo is traitor looking for glory, their is hardly any project that have not gone in this administration the same way the one he is criticising went
A lot of projects might have followed the same similar pattern to the one he shot down but I understand his limitations when Buhari presides and allow proposals that he (Osinbajo) might have not allowed if he was the one that presided over FEC.

Between him and the buhari he wants to blackmail we know who Nigerians voted for as
Nigerians voted for Buhari on the basis of his supposed integrity but thank God that he ruled and we can see how far his integrity has taken the country.

Besides I don't see how declining approval for a contract amounts to Osinbajo blackmailing Buhari except if you have other information about this contract that I am not privy to.

there was no valid reason, osinbajo was playing politics because na how to derail amaechi selling point in the rail sector was his objective to help his own ambition

Same committee looked into it before buhari signed it
All in the name of politics, you go about spewing inanities! It is pathetic how low you guys can go!

FEC asked very germane questions and those questions are still valid till date:

1. Why award a rail track surveillance contract to a company without proven record in that specialized field?

2. Why award a contract worth above 3 billion Naira to a company whose annual turnover is less than 100 million Naira?

3. Why award such a contract without a public tender and no public advert for invitation to bid?

4. Why award such a contract to a company that was incorporated less than 2 years before the award of contract?

5. Why award such a contract with a 100% down payment?

Even though, I have been an admirer of Amaechi since his days in governance in Rivers state, he lost me on this one and the FEC presided by Prof was right to have thrown this contract out.

Buhari can go on signing anything and everything if he likes. At least, we have seen the effects of all his approvals for military expenditures: more people are being killed daily!

Then where's the place for opportunity. Why are Nigerians complaining of China running the rail when Nigerians companies are there. Gee nothing is bad if ur first job is in billions. And the company was cleared bro and he stopped it. Now do we like the outcome?
Comments like this are very injurious to the well being of this country. It is bad if your first contract job is in billions especially when there is no record of you handling a similar project in a specialized field.

This is the very reason why we have so many poorly executed jobs.

The person that asked this is very stupid and he must think everyone is stupid like him. Even a low level branch manager will ask for brand of a purchased equipment worth 100k let alone almost 4 billion
Very apt! A generic solution would not suffice in the circumstance and asking about the brand was cool, at least that would have afforded the council members to double check by googling the brand. And we are talking 3+ billion here.

This shows that most requests are not vetted by the council because the scenario painted here should be routine practice.

Whenever you go to defend a budget and it is turned down with queries, it is the responsibility of the sponsor to represent with clarifications where needed.

As much as I liked Amaechi, he scored a low on this because he had several opportunities to re-present his proposal to council even many times that PMB presided afterwards.

Interestingly, Nigerians in the diaspora are doing exceedingly well in all these disciplines. But the same people somehow become incompetent or unusable at home. That begs the question, what gives?.
You can adduce several reasons for Nigerians succeeding abroad better than they do at home:

1. The environment is toxic and there is no celebration of cerebral efforts, hence the people are not motivated to excel except for few cases where the individuals are intrinsically motivated. Add to that, the mismatch between renumeration and efforts for civil servants. Politicians make the cash while the civil servants do the work!

2. The educational curriculum and teaching methodologies do not help one bit

These are some of the reasons.
