I was very quick to remove the word kids even before i saw this post of yours, when i went back to check your profile.

Sincere apologies
My brother, apologies accepted. If you found my earlier post offensive, accept my apologies too.

I wish you more success in your endeavors. The more people who won from here, the happier I get.

Stay blessed.

Sorry Papi, i dont get up from bed for 350K naira anymore.

That post was 11 years ago,!!

Sad that your post which I quoted was made 11 years ago, I must have missed that part.

When I quoted you, I was only trying to motivate and encourage someone and not to deride; and my attempt at that was based on my perception based purely at that time.

It is good to know that you have since moved up and I am glad for you. However, I am sure someone in the shoes you were in 11 years ago would still find my suggestion useful.

Stay blessed.

Great and I am happy for you. By any stretch of imagination (a $700) fee for a reusable and resellable python module just for payment integration isn't bad in my personal opinion.

By the way, be careful how you use the word 'kids' for people you don't know. There are late 40s, 50s and 60s on this forum.

If you knew where I was eleven years ago, you would take back your statement.

This feels like this dude has been abandoned. Worst is that the people agitating for a yoruba nation seems like a fraction.

The difference between him and MNK is that the later has a huge and global followership.
I won't be surprised if we stopped hearing about this dude in some month time.
Rather, I feel the guy is getting good counsel. When the State (read the Government) is looking for ways to bind him it would be foolish to provide them with the rope.

Igboho is getting good legal counsel and that is evidenced by the judgement of 20billion damages he got against the DSS today (whether he is paid or not, it is on record).

The Yoruba elders have done well in standing by him and making it difficult for him to be extradited to the Country. People need to learn to fight for their rights within the ambits of the law.

Why is this writer contradicting himself? He listed the titles of both Mikel and Kanu but still went on to say Mikel was the most successful when Kanu has more titles from different leagues and even personal awards from CAF and BBC. Is counting too difficult to do?

This incidence underscores one of the incompetences of President Buhari. Ordinarily, the Air force official who issued the initial statement disclaiming the incidence ought to have to have been relieved of his job as a spoke person to serve as a deterrence.

You must be mistaken. The anti-grazing is embedded because the law forbids anyone fr moving cow on foot from one point to another point without using a vehicle or train. Logically, this takes care of open grazing.

Sorry, my forte is not UI/ UX. In that regards, I cannot mentor you. But largely, don't ever shy away from paying to learn. Sometimes, it cuts your learning time and it helps you to avoid the possible pitfalls. Standing on the shoulders of Giants helps you to see far into the distance. Best of luck.

Sometimes you are learning the wrong things. I laugh when people talk about getting paid 20k for developing websites.

Learn the tough stuffs and make some good money.

Recently, I developed a payment module for a Django Oscar project. And the fee was 350k. Just the payment module. You may not understand, but look for the stuffs that have steep learning curves and you will be amazed at what you can earn. Cheers.

Please be as candid with me as possible.

Is learning web design a waste of my time.

Twice i've embarked on the process of learning it, and twice i've been discouraged saying 'everyone' knows web design and so the competition has driven the price of the market down.

That i should learn programming instead as it is more challenging.

Pls help me.
Nope, it is not a waste of time if you know your onions. However, bespoke website development is what would give you good money. Besides, you will need the knowledge of some server side programming language like Java, Php or Python for dynamic websites.

Absolutely. I think the growing concerns about "the right to life" plays a huge role in politicians developing cold feet with regards to death sentences. However, people who have absolute disregard for the right of others to live shouldn't be allowed to live too. Such should not enjoy human rights maybe animal rights. Wicked souls.

Sometimes when I see some youngsters being displayed by EFCC for cybercrime ..I wonder so deeply that it's is over ....never ever trust any young guy that your spirit does not trust

You see them in clubs and everywhere , in posh wears and using high tech fones but their source of income can't be assured to be legal

Girls on the other hand the same thing , they sleep around and do hookups and are very lazy , they hang around malls and lounges looking for who to take them home , you check ur social media app you see them listing themselves for prostitution ...

Learn a trade they won't , but they can sleep around for iPhone and other stupid thing ...even if you give such gal 300k to start a business they won't be able to nuture any business to profit out , they will squander the profit and show off in birthdays hosting and frivolous activities

Nobody is perfect but when this type of play comes to stay too much ...it's annoying
The prospects are grim. And you have spoken well.

If the SW can contest the 2023 elections then nothing stops any northern region from equally contesting
I believe it is fair for a South Easterner to become the President of this nation at this moment. This is the more reason why the South Easterners and other Southerners should resist this idea of a Northerner as a PDP candidate in 2023.

This is really bad.
How on earth can these young wicked men do this?

After years of study, to enjoy just a little, you didnot allow.

I am not a fan of death penalty but in this case, I have no problem with it for them.
I just told my wife that perhaps bringing back the death penalty for violent crimes would be a good idea.

While I was growing up I recall that many armed robbers were publicly executed and televised to serve as some form of deterrent to potential criminals. Perhaps, that prevented the prevalence of crimes.

Nowadays, the ages of people who commit these crimes are usually between 20 and 35. And government need to do something fast about it.

PoliticsRe: VAT Verdict: States Begin Consultation As Court Quashes FIRS Application by teepain:
SarkinYarki:
This VAT thing is tricky and to get it right we must remove the Toga of emotions ....VAT is a consumption TAX!!!!! To say Lagos state generates 70 percent of VAT in Nigeria is saying Lagos State consumes 70% of Goods and services consumed in Nigeria ...Can this be true ? Is this the reality? .. As Business man I have charged VAT on products supplied to the north but ended up paying that VAT in Lagos but in reality the real person that paid that VAT was the last consumer in the north ...this thing is tricky ... Finding a fair way to allocate VAT will take alot of good brain power ..the former model wasn't fair and neither will this state model ... We must try to separate collection point from the final bearer of VAT ..the First person to pay VAT is usually not the one bears the tax eventually
I understand your point of view but my take is that the Northern states should improve their productivity, charge VAT on the the products and services that emanate therefrom even if the final burden of tax payment is on consumers in South or anywhere else.

The point really is that the Governors of the Northern states can and should do more to contribute to the total productivity of their states. Why should some states work hard to attract investment and investors with the attendant increased productivity contributing to VAT and some people will wait at the end of the month only to share the VAT.

All those who lined up here like a clan of starving and snarling hyenas to call for the heads of these people when the news of their evil arrests was reported here, should also line up to ask for forgiveness. Uzodinmma and Buhari have finished Imo State youths. Folks should also remember that in the initial report by the police, they claimed that this very boy was the one that took them around to show them where IPOB ESN will normally gather before proceeding to kill "security operatives". Obviously the police in Imo State are nothing but evil drama producers..
The actions of those police officers are condemnable. When karma locates them, they will be running from pillar to post. These illegal and unlawful arrests of innocent people must be resisted by all means possible.

I urge the affected people, wrongly paraded as criminals, to collectively sue the NPF for illegal arrest and defamation of character.

To me, if I’m to pick between Osinbajo or Akeredolu for president, I’ll pick this akeredolu..

He seems more rugged with his intelligence..

I just don’t think osinbajo is that rugged at all..
Looks like we fail to appreciate the constitutional limitations of deputies (deputy Governors) and (deputy Presidents) in this part of the world.

Atiku was a "rugged" VP but we saw how it ended for him between him and OBJ. Yaradua's cabal was playing ping-pong with GEJ until death snatched Yaradua and they couldn't play the hide and seek game anymore. Or do you want to talk about VP Namadi Sambo.

I didn't think too much of Osinbajo until he appointed Onnoghen as substantive CJN inspite of the fact that Buhari had refused to confirm Onnoghen.

And the second event was when he sacked the then DG DSS (Mamman Daura, Buhari's cousin and part of the cabal).

It takes a lot of courage and conviction to do what he did even when his principal's body language suggested that he (the principal) was not favourably disposed to taking such actions.

How more rugged could a VP be?

Pls take Osinbajo out of that equation. Dude is stuck to Tinubu apron, a vote for him is a vote for Tinubu ruling by proxy. ADESHINA , Peter Obi or Okonjo Iweala better
Until you elect a man into office, you will never be able to tell his capability. Ambode fell out with Tinubu inspite of being a Tinubu's stooge earlier. One of the campaign slogans against Akeredolu in his first shot at being Ondo governor is that he would be a Tinubu stooge; however events have proven the naysayers wrong. Other events such as GEJ vs OBJ, Oshiomole vs Obaseki, Obi vs Current Anambra's Governor (his name eludes me now), Akpabio vs Udom should have taught us that this your hypothesis of Osinbajo being a perpetual lackey of Tinubu, even when elected, cannot hold.

P.S.
Apart from Tinubu bringing Osinbajo into political limelight, I cannot recall any event where he (Osinbajo) has done anything outside of the constitution to favour Tinubu to justify this your assertion. I will like for you to furnish me with contrary facts if you have them. Thanks.

Are you mad? So if given the change you'll elect Osinbajo again? Gosh what is wrong with NIGERIANS?
Please, can you educate me on what is wrong with an Osinbajo candidacy? I recall that it was Osinbajo that confirmed Onnoghen (the former CJN) even when it was clear that the cabal and Buhari were looking for excuses to side-step him even though he (Onnoghen) was the most senior Supreme Court Justice as at then.

Secondly, Osinbajo was the one who sacked Mamman Daura for not getting clearance and directives before the infamous midnight raid of the house of Justices and Judges.

You may want to note that since those 2 incidences, Buhari has refused to transmit power to his vp any time he travelled.

One of the the accusations that I find laughable is that Osinbajo has not done enough. But the truth is that the VP can only perform actions assigned to him by the President who is his principal.

In my opinion, the VP acted in accordance with the constitution responsibly whenever he acted in his capacity as the President.

I will really like it, if Obi, Osinbajo, Okonjo-Iweala and Akinwunmi Adesina are on the ballot.

The question that any reasonable person should ask is that; why is it only Ortom in the whole Benue propagating this conspiracy theory if it is not mere mischief? Are they no worthy Benue indigenes even in the opposition to echo his narrative?

Only Ortom cannot be the only one with sight, insight and foresight in the entire state.
Call Ortom whatever name you deem fit but Buhari's actions and inactions are actually giving life to Ortom's narratives to the extent that people who ordinarily would not believe his theories are now his converts. All thanks to President Buhari.

Nigeria is a joke

If that is the case.. Christians, atheists, sango worshippers, amadioha worshippers and the rest should set up their own police arm
You have raised very serious issues. I wonder why the non-muslims residing in Kano who had suffer losses as a result of Hisbah's excesses haven't challenged such actions in federal high courts. When they set up this sharia, they claimed it would only apply to Muslims only but that isn't the case any more.

And this is one of the things that I will never forgive OBJ for; he allowed this Sharia thing to take root in Zamfara state from where it has spread to other Northern states. OBJ did not defend the constitution well because our constitution states that we are a secular country. The question is: why did he allow a part of the country to become theocratic?
