Omoboricash:
APC Still Get Hope

The apex court ordered that the runner-up candidate be sworn in if he fulfils the constitutional requirement of getting one quarter of the total votes cast in at least two-third of the local government areas of the state.

Here is the analysis:

Total votes cast: 810,782
APC: 534,541 votes
PDP: 189,452 votes

So PDP must get 202,696 to earn governor seat of Zamfara state.

 PDP Never Again
If the Apex court held that the runner up should be sworn if he has 1/4 of total votes cast in at least 2/3 of the LGAs in Zamfara; then the votes required by PDP cannot be up to 202696 as you stated because your computation was based on 100% LGAs and not 2/3rd of the LGAs as stipulated by law.

I have a serious issue with the accounting and auditing departments of Covenant University management.

We're they not auditing and reconciling accounts within those years?

If you investigate properly, you will discover that this fraud involves a lot of management staff. I don't believe the VC.
Sadly, a lot of auditing and accounting staff are not able to pick these malfeasances especially in a computer based accounting system.

Auditing various ledgers and checking them against various source documents could have exposed this.

This should help to clear the air a bit.

The emphasized part of your post has been disturbing me for some years now. As a matter of fact some of these yahoo yahoo people are already in government. Nigerians can't see the impending doom if this menace is not curbed now.

Still doesnt make sense to me. Our Local Markets arent affected by dollar hike, rather they affected by fuel price.Dont let these thieving Traders fool u. The idea of selling a bag of garri for cheaper is evidence. Garri is far cheaper than most staples.Up north , u'd even buy a bag of sweet potatoes for 2k. I still buy meat for #100, #200 here in the North.
In Lagos, i cant buy meat for #300. Na we dey do ourselves
Most of the inflation in Nigeria is self induced because of over-profiteering. Take for instance, a food-seller who ordinarily would have made about 20% gain if he sells a measure of item for #400 would decide to rig the system to favor himself would sell the same at #700 believing that he is smart. All the buyers of his products/ services would reflect his rigged cost in their own pricing to make more profit or even play smarter and the cycle goes on and on. The way Nigerians create artificial inflation is the way they create artificial traffic jams; most times it is initiated by someone who thinks he/ she is smarter than the rest and the problem spirals out of control.

A piece of advice to us all: Do not just inflate the price of your products/ services just because you can or because your customer is not any wiser; if you do, the market will correct that anomaly be making every other person pay more and we will be here blaming OBJ, GEJ and PMB.

The market is more intelligent than everybody - if you attempt to cheat it, there will be consequences.

P.S There will be times when increasing prices of your products is genuinely justified.

We offend God everyday with the way most Nigerians think. Remove all the police officers in this country and recruit the ones complaining now and see how they will transform into bigger monsters. It is not a Police issue, it is a Nigerian problem.

A typical Nigerian doesn't know how to manage power without misusing it.

I beg to differ, every player, every stroker has his Pros and Cons,

You said he only converts 50% of his chances,

Have you ever wondered how he gets so many chances and other strikers don't ?

It's because of his great positional play..

So,if he only converts half of the chances that he gets,

The fact that he actually gets in position for such opportunities should not be discountenanced..

At the end of the day,

He ends up scoring a bucket full of goals every season..

He scored 10 goals in 13 games in his first half season with Arsenal and is currently second on the Goals log with 18..

Every Striker has his attributes,

He may not be the most physically imposing nor the most intelligent Striker out there,

But his positional play is second to none and at the end of the day,

He scores a whole lot of goals for ANY club he plays for..
Quite an intelligent contribution. Why are the other EPL players not getting into position to get the opportunities that Auba gets?
CrimeRe: 23 Nigerians On Death Row In Saudi Arabia (Full Names) by teepain: 9:49am On Apr 16, 2019
ExcelDeBaron:
Is that all you have to say? Are you people no longer checking names?

This has finally put to the Grave the very myopic idea and notion that "IGBOS PUSH DRUGS AND ITS EXCLUSIVE TO THEM". Look at that list very well. Its full of names from the West and the North.
You can see that some Nigerians have crime embedded in there DNA and its not an Igbo thing. Go to Sahara reporters page and see some Yorubas there pretending to be preachers. Many are saying "Things are hard under Buhari and we have to survive"..... "Crime is not a tribal thing". Hypocrisy raised to power 100!

Oh.... I now understand why the Federal government is pushing for there release. Because its not an exclusive list of Igbos? What about Igbos in prison in Thailand? South Africa? Malaysia? Nigerians can now see that we are our own enemies. While we are here battling
ourselves and imploding, our brothers out there are on death row! To be executed with huge matchetes! Does the matchete know Hausa? Does the Matchete know Yoruba? Does the matchete know Igbo? The Matchete only knows " USELESS NIGERIANS COMING TO OUR COUNTRY TO SPOIL IT. I WILL CUT THERE HEAD." Let me repeat it again... "ITS DEATH BY BEHEADING. THERE HEAD WILL BE DECAPITATED AND SEPARATED FROM THERE BODIES!"

Last but not Least (Coz I have a lot to say); " WHERE IS THAT USELESS AND HEARTLESS WOMAN CALLED ABIKE DABIRI? A CRIMINAL AND SHAMELESS WOMAN WHO DOES NOT KNOW THAT SHE IS A MINISTER AND SHOULD BE PROMOTING PEACE! She was the first person to publish the names of Igbos on a platter of gold on Twitter. Why has she gone numb on this one? Oh... I remember vividly... These ones are Humans and not destroying our nation. Igbos are the evil ones and should be executed!!

But I do know there are sensible Hausas, Yorubas and other tribes who sees beyond tribe and know that its a national shame. I know because I have met them. God bless the people of Nigeria. I won't say God bless Nigeria because I don't like this country. This is a jungle and not a nation.
Nigeria is not a jungle because it is only a mere geographical expression; it does not have a mind of its own. It is what Nigerians make of Nigeria that we would all enjoy so you can not blame Nigeria as a country for the acts of omission or commissions of Nigerians. If Nigeria must be great, every Nigerian must play his or her part well.

Lol, she's a full blooded Yoruba from Ogbomosho in Oyo state, both parents are Yoruba, she was born and raised here in Lagos.

Truth be told, tribalism is a wild wind that blows no one good, I have long time jettisoned that epidemic and I'm living freely like the wind.

I judge people based on the contents and compositions of their character not by their tribal or religious affiliations.

Lastly, most times, the faults which mostly disturb us about others are very strongly marked in us and causes annoyance to our neighbors.

If you live piously, hardly will you pay more attention to base men of contemptuous attitudes.

Examine yourself!
What a beautiful clapback. There is hope for Nigeria and Nigerians.

amaniro:
1bn for fish? we really don't know what our problem is in this country.
Considering that Nigerians spent about $1 billion on importation of fish in 2018, this looks like a step in the right direction.

If the cost structure of the import expenditure of $1 billion is further interrogated, we can arrive at something like:

Profit: $200 million @ 20%
Feed: $400 million @ 40%
Other expenses: $200 million @20%
Labour: $200 million @20%

The direct and indirect economic benefits of N1.2 billion investment in local fish production cannot be overstated, provided that the fund is judiciously managed.

Anyone would assume that they could do better than the INEC Chairman, if given the opportunity. However the INEC Chairman's job is not an easy or enviable one with the odds stacked against him heavily as a result of a number of factors: the intrigues and desperation of politicians and the penchant of party faithfuls to do anything to win at any cost regardless of the wishes of the people as well as the ease with which INEC ad-hoc staff can be bought - given that they are Nigerians with proclivities for quick enrichment.

Nigeria has not even had serious minded investors; majority of them are just portfolio investors with their Nigeria criminal counterparts.

Buhari's performance against Yar'adua then was not good because:

3. His late brother's (Musa Yar'adua) political machinery (PDM) was still very potent
