The day i stopped beleiveing news from the media was the day they said Boko Haram is killing people on Lagos-Ibadan expressway. They even went further circulating pictures depicting the bomb scene and causing unnecessary panic.

Everyone that is making this country inhabitable and circulating false information all about shall know no peace.

Although, the Government is not proactive enough and it makes it look like they are aiding the herdsmen, But the people circulating false statement are even adding to the wound, I just tire for this Country.

Very aptly put. Nigerian politicians are mostly criminals who maintain some seemingly clean businesses to cover their tracks.

If I was a security operative I will leave these criminals to keep neutralizing each other before some factions would come and accuse me of framing their own when they know that the person actually committed the crime.


We keep shouting persecution without thinking about the cache of arms that are being intercepted by customs regularly. For every container of arms intercepted 10 have escaped, given the porous nature of our borders.

I believe a lot of reasonable Nigerians will not protect any politician who attempts to mess up with us.

However, it is difficult to take Fayose serious with the way he talks flippantly. He is not the only opposition governor but he has said a lot of things in the past that turned out to be blatant lies.

Politicians like Fayose, who play politics with everything, exist both in APC and PDP and we should never allow them to ride rough shod over us.

It is not unusual to make budgetary provisions for projects across many fiscal years. For instance, if you are building a house that will cost you a total of #30 million, you can budget #10 million in 2017, another #10 million in 2018 and another #10 million in 2019 to make up the total.

I agree completely with you that the bicameral legislature should go. Even though Buhari has not done too well I give it to him for standing up to these "legislooters". Reno and his likes were the ones who made GEJ to lose in the 2015 election. When you want to sell your candidate you do so without insulting the intelligence of the electorate.

The truth is that no powerful man like governor or senator was jailed under GEJ, so claiming credits for the recent convictions of Nyame and Dariye does not cut it. This would not resonate with the electorates. Reno should have learnt "Simlin Wendell's" infamy.

But it wasn't only Tinubu that rejected the naming. Even Afe Babalola who is pro PDP rejected it. I think that UNILAG had already assumed a life of its own and renaming would have eroded its brand equity and perhaps that was why a lot of people kicked against renaming it as MAULAG.

When everything has been laid bare and final judgements have been delivered, then we would know the guilty party. It is easy for anybody taking sides now to err as we are not all privy to what happened between the two parties.

I can only wonder why OBJ didn't honour MKO and at least gain whatever political capital that he could. I would have asked the same question of Musa Yaradua except for the fact that he died in the course of his Presidency and maybe he would have done something to immortalize him. GEJ at least tried to name UNILAG after MKO but OBJ didn't try at all.
