PVision2020:
And Buhari also hold the right to determine what's best for Nigeria by suspending Twitter indefinitely in his domain. We can all be mad together.
If a single man (jack) can unilaterally determine what's permissible or not with his brazen double standard and hypocrisy then a government of over 200M people (voted into power by over 15M voters) also possess the right to kick their ass off.
With people like you still around, then there is still some little hope for nairaland. Nice post cool

I am not a fan of Bihari but the facts need to be said. No sentiments here. You cannot delete the tweet of a serving president of a country ( even if you consider him a dictator or what not). It's not done. That's utter disrespect not just to our president but to all of us Nigerians.

Nairaland being what it is, I know some dunderheads will reply me with insults. I will not entertain silly mentions from morons that can't think with their brains cool

well, mine was my father.
I was pretending to be sleeping on the couch in the living room. He was on phone with someone and he called my name just to confirm if I was sleeping or not.

While I was eavesdropping on his conversation, I heard him telling someone else I love you, kisses on the phone and reminding the person that he's going to be at her place the following day. Meanwhile, my mum was in the kitchen cooking.

PASTOR - the most bastardised word in Nigeria.

This is in Benin right? Please post an image of the tax slip or send it to me via email. Let me see what I can do.

MASTAkiLLAh:
such equipments have been on ground at least since GEJ's era. It's what police use in tracking kidnappers for example. The DSS also has them and that's why I try as much as possible to only buy new phones instead of second hand no matter how tempting the offer is, I personally know someone languishing in jail now with a robbery case hanging on his neck for being in possession of a stolen phone. The idea is good, the personnel behind it is what people are afraid of
This is exactly why I will never buy a used phone (be it US or UK used). You can't even tell if the US used phone you are buying is being tracked by INTERPOL.

cococandy:
But guess what? It’s not for free. It supports the family income.

If I had no source of income and my partner is running a food business to support us and can’t pay workers to wash dishes due to our income is now reduced, I would be stupid to say I can’t wash dishes to help the business survive. Like I said y’all are weird AF. I don’t know where your reasoning comes from.

There’s no role or job too demeaning for anyone on this earth. Stupid pride that’s defies logic is what makes some of you try to complicate uncomplicated situations.

Dishing what I can’t take?
I can wash dishes, wipe poop, clean up vomit, do anything to support my family. But y’all are too good for that. Such a stupid point of view to support
Truth be told I see nothing in helping my wife wash dishes if there is no one else to help out in the restaurant and if I am out of a job.

I think it boils down to the manner and way in which she says it. If she says it in a loving way then why not- I'll do it since the success of the restaurant is for the family. It only becomes a problem if she says it in a condescending and mocking way, that will hurt the mans feelings.

So in summary it all boils down to communication and teamwork. In fact, communication is one of the most important aspects of a satisfying marriage and this brings about love and mutual respect between both parties.

See me talking about marriage when I am not yet married sef cheesy

Phones › Re: Nigerians Slam NCC’s IMEI, Phone IDs Directive: We Deserve Some Privacy by UDUJ(m): 2:30pm On May 21, 2021
If someone has your mobile phone IMEI number and has negative intentions he can commit fraudulent activities like the following:

CLONING
If someone has your mobile phone IMEI, this someone can clone your phone and if it happens that both phones are switched on while connected to the same telecom operator, the telecom operator will disable them both.
This usually happens on the same mobile operator or between mobile operators with a direct roaming agreement (almost all countries in the world). If the cloned phone is used in another country (or with an operator that doesn’t have a direct roaming agreement with the mobile operator used by the original phone) the two phones could actually work.

TRACKING
Anyone who knows your IMEI number is potentially capable to track your location, wherever you are in the world.

TAPPING
Anyone who knows your IMEI number is potentially capable of tapping into your phone conversations and text messaging and this can lead to the following issues ----------

FRAUD
By knowing your IMEI number it is possible to place calls and charge your account used with that IMEI number.
In countries where the phone account is also used to transfer credit, credits can be transferred out of your account.

IMPERSONATION
By cloning your phone people can send text messages (for example to your contact list) pretending to be you. In this circumstance, recipients are more likely to open and click links thereby included.

IDENTITY THEFT
By cloning your phone, hackers are capable to receive text messages originally sent to you. For example text messages including pin and authentication codes, generally used by third party services (on-line services, banking, etc.)

I called you all hypocrites because that's what you guys are. All of you, including you.
When he sang about internet fraud, did you and others dance or not? Is internet fraud not against ethics and morals? Where was the outcry when he sang about it?
Even when he was arrested for it, most of you guys bashed the government even though you all knew he was glorifying fraud.
When he sang "Jo soapy", did you dance or not? You might even have the music in your phone, who knows? Is it part of our ethics and morals to sing about masturbation in songs?
Where was the outcry? He sang another called "cumming" and said lots of things, nobody including you, complained. Now that what he said doesn't sit well with you, you're now coming online to cry. Many of you probably watch Father and Daughter porn, who knows?
Only a mumu and someone who's easily influenced would expect anything that appeals to morals from him. Ya'll talking about him being a bad influence as if he wasn't one in the first place. He wasn't a bad influence then, but he is now because he has said what you don't like. Hypocrite.
You are very correct. That dude has always been a bad influence on the youths. I am surprised people are just finding out, hence the outcry on this latest outburst.

As for me I am not surprised. I never expected anything positive from him.

Very very bad influence. To be honest, he is the worst thing that has happened to Nigerian music in recent times.

I remember when I was learning DJing last year. We had gone for an event, and the main DJ had run off to get fuel, so I had to handle the mixing. I didn't really know where the DJs main songs where, so when the mix that was playing finished, I just frantically searched for a song to play. I saw a folder named party jams, I clicked, saw a Naira Marley song and I played it. Damn! I regretted the move. Naira Marley was just saying raw sh*t all through...too sexually explicit for me to even type here. The kids were dancing but the Alfa was looking at me like, what da f*ck is wrong with you. Damn! I was so ashamed of myself that day.

I was watching a clip on youtube about a particular terrorist sect. I notice that they blindfolded all of the people waiting on the line to be executed. They covered all of their head to their neck while some just their eyes. WHY IS LIKE THAT? huh huh huh
I think it's to help the person being executed save some of his dignity so he (or she) doesn't flinch/panic/cry/defacate/piss at the moment immediately before death (i.e. they don't know the exact moment it will happen).

Also it's harder to kill someone when you look him/her in the eye.
