I like the grinding stone but I have never tried using it. There are some women who grind with grinding stone in one of the markets i go to. I pay extra to have my pepper/ tomatoes grinded with it.

But to sit down with grinding stone by myself, nooo. Even my husband will frown at such extra stress, as I open my eye no marry traditional minded man.

Lol , brotherly I didn't mean all of you nah.

But, I am tempted to say majority of you men need to be feared , because as a single woman the way I get hustled by married men makes me wonder if my vjay is any different from wifey's own.

Let me recount a few of my experiences for you, using fictious names;

1. Tyrion was ready to brace mad traffic from his location to mine just to have sex. This was during a time of road construction along my axis that would cause heavy traffic.

2. Jamie told me he would like me to have a child with him, in order to create and cement a bond between us because he really likes me and feels a connection with me. A connection I wasn't feeling o - this is a childhood friend whose wife I also know.

3. Lord Stark called out of the blue one day to profess his love for me, after 14 years of marriage to his wife whom I also know. As a matter of fact he was double dating us at the time (me and wifey) but ended up marrying her cos I wasn't feeling up to it. After that initial conversation I blocked him because he was going to visit the city I'm based in and I know what he was looking for, e no dey pass sex.

4. I continuously lie to most of them and new acquaintances that I live with my sister and her hubby or my tenancy agreement doesn't allow me have male visitors, if you visit me we will have to sit in your car outside the compound to gist, once they know you live alone they start plotting/planning a rendezvous at your crib.

5. Because of Number 4, Tywin wanted us to hang out and spend time together for an entire weekend. To put him off I told him I only do 5 Star Hotels, the likes of Legend Ikeja, Four Points, Radisson Blu etc. You know the room rates at these hotels is not beans . So, when they think of the money they will spend just for pusssy they usually take a bow

6. I told Little Finger I was HIV positive sef , that one picked race, ended all contact and communication. I couldn't be bothered

Mind you, I wasn't dating any of these guys. These are men I met in the course of my career and work life, travelling and all. We exchange numbers for one reason or the other and they start the hustling.

I don't regret some of the lies I've told either because it was for self preservation, I'm always looking out for number 1 and striving for choices that are in my best interest.

The Bible encourages us to seek knowledge, why do you detest knowledge? Is it because of Chauvinism? Knowledge to you is like sunlight to a vampire. If everything is in vain, why then do pastors acquire so many things? They won't take it along with them when they die doesn't mean their offsprings won't use them or reminisce about them. You didn't inherit anything from your people doesn't mean you should spoil things for others. No problem in being a Christian; I'm one myself but, I'm NOT a dumb one. I'm willing to seek knowledge as much as possible and from anyone or anywhere. You're making Christians look like unintelligent people that only follow what they're told and can't think for themselves. Hahaha you went to change from "in voke" to "in vogue" after correction.

"All these are vanity" does not mean that all things are not useful. What it means is that they should not be the only reason for our existence. While we need and desire those things they should not become idols to us. They should not take us away from God. God desires that we should have them. After all silver and gold belong to him.

Nothing should take the place of eternity because they are not worth anything compared to what we get at eternity.

They should been taken within the context of what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 6:12 "All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any"

the writer said the idea of people “checking out” is not new, and mentioned a 80s advert, if the idea of leaving is not new, why criticize the pastor for saying something everyone else already knows?

The writer said, the pastor is having a privileged mentality, at the same time, he said even unprivileged people are either leaving or plan on leaving if u should check Twitter.

I fully support the writer. If Pst Adefarasin belonged to another vocation other than pastor I will not have issues with his plan B advice. But he is a pastor. A man that people run to when they are hopeless.

As a notable pastor his words are weighty. A single word that comes out of his mouth can make someone you had planned suicide to drop it.

By the grace of God I'm a pastor in one of the large churches around. At the heat of the pandemic in 2020 we were warned that our messages should be focused on hope and salvation.

Recently the Holy Spirit has been directing me along the same line because of the despair in the land. I'm presently running a series on GOD KNOWS - when, how, why, don't quit.

This is what is expected of us. Of course what will you expect from a feel-good pastor.

The problem is two ends. You have not been in relationship for a long time. Therefore you have lost touch of how to grow a relationship.

On the part of the man, he's just coming out of a bad experience(divorce) therefore every woman is a suspect.

All the efforts he put through to come and see you clearly shows that he is interested in you.

Try and reconnect with him and the present short comings from the two ends will help build the relationship. Good luck.

One of my male colleagues have been stylishly proposing to me. I will pay no heed to such cause I know it will end in premium unadulterated tears.

It works. It worked for me. Particularly if it's between boss and subordinate. I dated her for some years(I will not mention how long).

I can go out with enough confidence that someone is covering my back. She had the keys to my office and safe.

There are some basic rules. The man must be strong and be in charge. When it comes to work deal with her as if there is no relationship.

I improved her academically, professionally. I even assisted her to control her personal finance. A very tall beautiful lady. Still in touch with me but no intimacy for a long time.

I was always confident that I had good cover behind me. Well behaved lady though. She will forever remember me.
