There is no need to brag: what nature of "investment" is it that you are putting your billions into, that is now making you broke?
Well, even if your "payslips" say that you earn 5 million Naira a month and you are "investing" every penny with NNPC, and your account has no balance available for your trip, you would be refused the visa because, you have no evidence of funds available for maintenance.
With this awareness, i insist that your claims are false
Brag. Thank you.

You should have known that NNPC will not show on your CSCS statement.

I don't think you actually mean what you just said here, you are applying for UK visa without any money to finance the trip, just payslip? The ECO needs to see how much you have at that moment in your account and NOT how much that comes into your account.

If you are given the visa today and your traveling in two days time, how will you travel without money? Payslip is not credit card.
Well, I was not planning to travel two days after my application.

My monthly salary can handle my travels and UNTIL I am about to make the trip, I invest my CASH!

My Payslip shows how much I earn. The flow through the account tallies with my payslip and my CSCS statement shows what I use the money to do! So the ECO need to judge whether based on my income I can afford the trip (not whether I have the cash already stored).

How many people anywhere in the world keep $6,000 RAW cash just because of visa?

Which part is the lie?

That I did not get the visa?

That I had money in my account?

That my payslip is not enough prove of my income?

That my CSCS statement is not prove of my investment?

If you have ZERO in your account how will you convince the ECO that you can afford the cost of your trip?
You can convince them by showing that you have regular income stream that can fund the cost of your trip.

You show that you are returning by showing your ties and investment in Nigeria.

Which embassy was that?
Done that with at least three embassies. UK, US and Canada.

Friend, the account balance matters as much as the transaction details; if the "flow through his account" is impressively detailed, and yet, the balance is on negative, the visa will be refused
I've applied for visa with Zero account balance. I only attached my CSCS statement showing my stock holding. When asked why the account was zero, told them I dont keep cash but invest it.

I've applied with ZERO account balance and I was given. My payslip was enough as proof of my income.

More than your account balance, your INCOME and FLOW through the account is what is important.

so about how much do i need to have, please?
It is not a matter of amount. It is your ability to convince the people that

1) You have ties to make you return to Nigeria
2) You have enough money to take care of yourself.

Even if you have Zero in your account but you can demonstrate that you have a good job that you are coming back to, there should be no problem. The FLOW through your account is more important than the BALANCE in the account. Some dont even look at the statement of account.

Hahaha, na today,

Alot of naija student in Malaysia are scammers and the Malaysian government is aware of it. I don't think they do anything cos with the exploits of those guys over there and the way they spend money, it might be benefiting their economy as people all over the world know that it's not Malaysians that are the mastermind of the scams but Nigerians , , the student visa thing is just a front. I have a cousin who claims to be a student in Malaysia as well. Everytime I check his Facebook wall, there is always at one club every Friday sipping Ace of spade/moet. He recently brought a Range Rover sport sef in Malaysia and has Honda evil spirit packed in naija anytime he is in lagos. This boy is just 23 years old ooo. And he still has people he calls mentor for that same Malaysia ooo,  I am not happy about what he does for a living but well, he is an adult and no longer a kid again. Whatever happens to him, I am sure he can face the music.
One of them own a club (Motherland/Jambase) around Sunway. He is a yahoo yahoo boy and the wife is aware. All they do is party all day and drink! Soon the child will ask about the fathers occupation and there will be nothing to answer. Met one like that married to a Singaporean. He said he stopped the yahoo yahoo business when the children were told by the teachers to ask about their parents occupation.

Most of them lease their cars. Difficult to buy cars without proper documentation.

Malaysians are 'poorly' paid so they find it difficult to understand how Nigerian students are able to live big.

SOON all Nations will close their borders to Nigerians. Our value system is gone!

First of all, can someone tell me what law this boys actions violated? With a good lawyer this case will be thrown away immediately, How can you say he committed crime when he asked a lover for money and she had no contract binding him to the loan he gave her? If this was the states, he will be giving probation at the most because everybody has a different identity on online dating sites. If I put a picture of Tyson Beckford to attract females online to date but I don't ask them for money, am I committing a crime? Is it only when I ask them for money that I have committed a crime?

Nigeria has bigger issues today than these young boys trying to make money, we are on America's terrorist watch list and the economy is on the brink of collapse and all of you are complaining about possible revenue into our society. Shame on You. I live abroad and can you please tell me of any black country that has a good image amongst white people or even any race of people other than black? We are seen as animals regardless so keep waiting for us to get a good image worldwide instead of striking these white devils at every chance you get.

Yes many are conned here. Met one of the recruiters (Malaysian Indian) who spend like 9months in a year in Nigeria recruiting students. I've met some genuine students and their lifestyle shows that they are indeed genuine students.

I've also met many who were told that from Malaysia they will cross to Europe. I've met some who were on the way to Thailand and got stranded in Malaysia.

Some of the recruiters lie to the potential students promising them what's not available. While that is one of the problem it does not remove the fact that most people NEVER planned to study in the first instance. The objective is always to hustle unfortunately it is difficult for you to hustle in a place where you stand out in a crowd!

To compound the problem is the fact that we are LOUD in anything we do!

It will be a shame if i deny Nigerians  has investment here apart from the list you have mention, i don't need to give some companies names here and what they produce.
Everything you have said is right about their work, but you can never generalise it and that is the fact.
ALL Malays are Muslims BUT not all BUMIPUTRAS are Muslims! BUMIPUTRAS are the indigenes of the land and that includes the Ibans, Kelabit, Kadazans and the Malays. It excludes the Malay Chinese and Malay Indians. You need to read the memoirs of Mahathir Mohamad.

Nigerians can forge anything BUT in Malaysia you dont get Permanent Residency/citizenship by Marriage. Even the children born dont get automatic citizenship. To get an IC for such kids is difficult.

If they are doing a LEGAL business, it will be registered and they will have a Bumiputra as partners. So what business are they doing.

That you are married to a Singaporean NEVER qualified you for permanent residency. They basically clamped down on criminal activities and singled out Nigerians!

While Malaysia is a Muslim country, there are Bumiputras who are not Muslims. Most are from Sabah and Sarawak. Datuk Idris Jala who is the minister in Prime Ministers office in charge of the PERMADU for example is a Christian from Bario, in Sarawak. However, marriage to a Malaysian does not guarantee you Permanent Residency. Even for Malaysians to get IC is stress how much a foreigner. Easiest way is to go for Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) and that will cost you nothing less than RM300k to start.

Which investment do Nigerians have here? Selling foodstuff, doing car rental (just cover up), running pubs, prostituting at Beach club and Sunway and doing Yahoo yahoo. What else?

I can count the number of Nigerian professionals on my finger tips. I know the number that work in the oil industry, few that are lecturing. The rest 99.9% claim to be student!

Let me tell you reasons why Nigerians were sent packing from Singapore, you can take it or leave it.

1) Criminal activity which is everywhere in the world.
2)Fraudulent activities of family and friend send many people to Singapore that they will connect them to Canada on arrival and this led to abuse of free visa to Singapore as given to us during OBJ regime.
The las that straw that broke the camel back was this
3) Permanent visa in Singapore give you access to many country in the world, Nigerians married their citizen both young and olds and they do  not care, but suddenly they discovered many children and heartbroken wife , when they ask for their husband or father they will tell them He has travel to Canada coming back and this has been rampant and they discovered Nigerians don't have interest in their country after the the permanent residence they use to travel to western world.
To stop this abuse they need to send them packing because there is no way they can stop someone from getting marry to Nigerians, but now that there is no Nigeria or few of them, let us see how they cam marry the citizen or take the permanent residence.

Malaysia is a muslim majority country, you have to be convert to islam before you can marry the locals, so most Nigerians don't really marry them , only crime is the problem of Nigeria which can be solve in short run, Singapore protect the future of their country in the long run by sending nigerians away.

Malaysia consists of three ethnics group,Malay, Chinese and india, it is only a Malay you can marry that you can have few advantages , the other if you marry them is just like from frying pan to fire, there is Gap between the 3 and i can't tell you more than that.

What is happening in Uk is similar to what has happened is Singapore, abuse of Social welfare, in Malaysia you don't abuse any welfare and you can never be part of it.

Meanwhile nigerians has a lot of investment here and you can find out yourself by research, one bad apple will always be among the good ones, the probability of bad to good Nigeria is high.

TravelRe: Why Do Nigerians Abroad Dont Help Themselves? by wanaj0: 1:02pm On Dec 21, 2011
I ASSUME that this is a sincere question so will try to give a 'serious' answer.

1) There are many people who do not have the capacity to render the kind of help required of them. They are however constrained hence go the extra mile to help. The help is telling on them and there is a limit to how long they can bear. Hence if you have such people helping you, better try to ameliorate the suffering of your host because SOON the person will reach breaking point and lash out. Not everybody abroad has the CAPACITY to render the help required without feeling the pain.

2) There are some people that assume that their hosts have unlimited resources so when people are trying to help them, they start to make unreasonable demands and have stupid expectations. When someone is helping you, know that it is not your right or entitlement so dont make demands.

3) There are those that based on previous experience, felt used when they helped people so are not willing to help again.

4) You also have people that dont understand the difference between the system in Europe and Naija. For example, in Naija if I take a day off to drive you round, it does not affect my pay. I still get a FULL pay at the end of the month. In most other countries, that day off pay id deducted from the salary so it is a huge COST to the person.

5) There are people that will always maltreat their guests just out of wickedness. You have such people all over the world.

So our experiences differs and has shaped our outlook to life. There is the good, the bad and the ugly when you help people or you get help from people.

Whoever you are able to help, try and do. It is the RIGHT thing.

When you get help, however little, be GRATEFUL. It is not your RIGHT.

If you say thai women I will say yes, most indonesians I see go there to work in factories, restaurants, homes etc and they get abused sexually, mentally and physically not long ago Indonesia stopped sending maids to Malaysia, I don't know if they have settled now or not.

When singapore was asked why they stopped visa on arrival for Nigerians they could not give a definite answer but as much people were not abused in singapore as it is now in Malaysia.
Well, it may be lie to you but I am telling you what I know!

Indonesians that come to work as maids are brought in by agencies. Those that come for prostitution come in as tourist and they have clamped down seriously on them. Years ago get to beach club and it is Indonesians and Philipinos that you will find there. Now it is filled with Vietnamese.

As per Singapore, they dont owe anyone any explanation. Try and apply for a visa and see the procedure you will have to pass through. So at what time did Singaporeans started discriminating against Nigerians?

Years ago Malaysians welcome Nigerians with open hands so what changed?

We need to put our house in order and stop disgracing the BLACK RACE with our attitude and behaviour. We find it difficult to obey SIMPLE RULES and regulations and we expect others to put up with our excesses.

When Nigerians DESTROYED their own countries and now moved to other countries to continue the destructive tendencies dont think others will stand bye and watch. If we've dealt with the BAD eggs in our midst we will not become the object of ridicule to the whole world.

As at 2008, Nigerians do not need a visa to visit Singapore BUT now the story has changed. We should be asking what made the Singaporeans to turn against Nigerians? Singapore now have SPECIAL visa requirements for Nigerians. Before Malaysians will give Nigerians one month visa but now maximum you will get is 14days with no extension. Other African countries get one month even with possibility for extension!

I know a Malaysian woman who was approached in Church by a Nigerian student. The excuse was that he was expecting his school fees and he needed an account that they can pay it in to. The 'racist' woman gave the boy the account number, money was paid into the account and was handed over to the boy. That was the last time the boy was in the church. Not long police came looking for the woman to explain the source of the money and what was done to it. The woman explained her side of the story only for the police to explain to her that her account was used to launder money! What do you think will be the reaction of the woman when next she comes in contact with a genuine Nigerian student making a similar request? If I know 10 Nigerians are 9 of them are criminally minded, then I will assume that 90% of Nigerians are criminals. That's what you use population sample for. Unfortunately, we seem to have a LARGE sample of criminals in Malaysia.

If Malaysians are racist are what will you say of South Africans, Kenyans etc. Even out there in Ghana we are not loved! Are they racist also? Are Nigerians the only BLACK people? Like they say, Bad people have spoilt the reputation of good people. Most Nigerians that Malaysians come in contact with everyday are into criminal activities. Most claim to be students but only very few are GENUINE students. Read through this site and you will see how people are planning to go to Malaysia to 'hustle'. We thrive and celebrate criminality! Just go through this forum and you will be shocked!

NB: Malaysians treat Indonesians in the same way. They've reduced visa for Indonesian women when they found out that they were mainly involved in prostitution. I see them clamping down on the Vietnamese to.

No one is saying that ONLY Nigerians are criminals. However while other nations hide to do their crimes we throw parties to celebrate it.

Of course everyone will claim innocence but the truth is clear for everyone to see!

dancewith:
You may be the one living in denial. Ask yourself the number of those nationals you mentioned that live in Malaysia. Nigeria is a country of 140 million folks (albeit maybe more than 200m). This is the same problem India and China have and you will find that these overpopulated countries tend to export human resources more than others (with the possible exception of the United States)

I have come to realise that the Chinese and Indians are worse criminals than Nigerians but the society is prone to rush to negative publicity (especially in the west) when the crime involves blacks. Now Malaysia has taken it to a whole new levels and it seems ok with some folks here.

It is immaterial if they were after Nigerian criminals. When they chose to arrest and brutalize any Nigerian due to the activities of others, they have lost the moral and diplomatic right to claim self righteousness. Two wrongs cannot make a right. I won't believe only Nigerian nationals commit crime in Malaysia but these other nationals don't get to have their citizens brutalized for crimes their criminals committed. This is what is called selective justice and designed to emotionally degrade a certain race. Germans used this method to start the Jewish extermination attempt under Hitler and in Russia under Stalin.

If your argument is reasonable, it means the next time you vacation in Malaysia with your family it will be acceptable for the Malay police to bundle you and your wife into jail for a few nights simply because you are carrying the green passport and a few greenbacks as some Nigerians just committed a crime across the block.

I do not have much sympathy for criminals but no one has the right, even remotely to class all Nigerians as criminals and treat them accordingly simply because of some dumb stereotype. If you chose to throw away your dignity on account of others actions, that is you and foreigners will treat you accordingly.

Deportation of Nigerians cannot be prevented but it can be reduced, only if the goverments would make Nigeria liveable for the inhabitant, create jobs, make available opportunities for the youths, stable power supply, regular pipe borne water, fight against corruption and looting of public funds, fight against boko haram, good and trust worthy policing, good roads.

You know if this things were readily available in Nigeria it will attract investors and there-by making the country investable. so when Nigerians secure a visa to go to any country they would not be desperate to stay in those countries and those reasons listed above by 25omega would sure be reduced.

I hope you can have a bit of an idea

Smh.

Of course money has to be at the root of all this.

The fact is there is no country in the world without beauty but it boggles the mind that nigerians are running to malaysia in search of education? huh

Is malaysia replacing eastern europe or is it that the population of nigerian youths has skyrocketed beyond the number of schools in the country?

Somehow i dont feel that's the case. More like its simply easier to ship people out and besides some people are making a living out of it.

Well, everyone has to eat one way or another i suppose.
Very FEW are genuine students. They all came with student visa but studying nothing.

The locals are so enraged with the attitudes of Nigerians. We've exported all the ills of Nigeria to Malaysia. Malaysia is not heaven but it is a better organised society with some values. Unfortunately, Nigerians are 'opening their eyes'. Nigerians are Iranians seems to control the drug business. Nigerians control the 'black money'. Everybody claim to be a student but they ride cars, go clubbing, organise parties and spray money. Everyone has come to the conclusion that most if not all Nigerians are into shady deals. We are hated in virtually every country and we need to ask ourselves why?

Soon they will start to raid the Nigerian 'churches' tongue

There is a protest planned for tomorrow. See details:
