Not to burst anyone's bubble but I think delay is actually a degree of denial if you take the focus away from the certificate itself for a moment. It's just that you don't get to know what you're denied cause you can't really tell what you would have done with the certificate if you had gotten it two years earlier, a cost you can't evaluate.

You forget that Taliban are Afghans themselves. The US cannot liberate Afghanistan from Afghans (at least, that was the logic behind the decision to leave the country). I think dealing with the leaders behind the 2001 terrorist attack would have been sufficient for the US, but they believed that killing an idea was better than killing a man, so they decided to change the government entirely but sadly for them, the new government was overly dependent.

Ukraine on the other hand is fighting to save themselves from a neighbour. That makes all the difference in my opinion. In this case, Russia is the invader and the Ukrainian government is like the Taliban. How long can they stay in Ukraine? Not like anyone is expecting Ukraine to win the war, but it's just necessary to compare situations properly.

Lol... When guys don't want to settle down, they're said to be losing interest. When a ladies don't want to settle down, they're simply olosho. In both cases, only one gender takes the blame as usual. Many will say they're fleeing from liabilities (a convenient term for 'responsibilities') but our fathers still got married even when women weren't even expected to do anything other than take care of the home. So what excuse does this generation have?

The truth is, regardless of the term we use to refer to it, people are beginning to realize that marriage, as beautiful as it is, is not necessarily a do-or-die affair like society paints it. It could be argued to be some sort of irresponsibility but even that would be debatable. This change isn't gender specific. It might be more apparent with men cause we seem to have the financial power and the ability to easily pull that off without judgement. But some women would rather be baby mamas too.

Nail polishing is actually believed to have been starting by men (by the warriors of ancient Babylon) and it's coming back now due to the quest for uniqueness. People like to stand out. Standing out is cool even if it's in a weird way. That's why black guys go for haircuts/hairstyles that command attention. They pierce their ears for the mere fact that it's believed not to be man's thing. Anything but usual is the goal and nail polishing hits the spot.

The truth is, men do tattoos, they grow thier hair, they pierce their ears, and they polish thier nails. It is what it is. Deciding you'd never talk to someone because of thier polished nails is way too judgemental in my opinion especially seeing as you wouldn't do that to men with pireced ears. If you need anything from someone or someone needs anything from you, such individual differences shouldn't get in the way.

I agree. They're not totally unrelated (statistically speaking) but one shouldn't influence our judgment of the other, that's the grand point. The report originated from Canada, but like you said, vaccination or lack of it hardly comes up when discussing the war. But knowing the way things work back home, it could quickly become a vaccinated vs unvaccinated kinda stuff. Thanks for the clarification.
