That's a shark. |
Fiscus105:Sorry, you aren't making sense. Have a nice day. |
They always have solutions. They always say what the audience wants to hear. |
Fiscus105:The fact that Nairaland boys/men come up with baseless stories just to massage their ego is what I was referring to as unbecoming. The fact that you couldn't pick that up speaks volume of your own intelligence. |
We criticize him and not his gender. If only we can extend that courtesy to the opposite gender as well. |
The things I read here, I'm convinced there's something in Nigeria stopping the boys from outgrowing teenage tendencies. Maybe the food or the temperature, I don't know, but men were never this childish. |
Africa is crude. |
Nigerians... |
You're asking them; if they talk, you guys will start cursing them. |
Kriss216:If it were a woman that did this, you would have been insulting the entire female gender. Now, a fellow man is going crazy, and you still find a way to look the other way while still insulting the female gender. Why not marry a frog to prove your point? |
savageyoungboy:We still Islamic high schools, Catholic schools, etc.. But I get your point. |
Is it that Nairaland guys don't read or what? Why is everyone talking out of point? ![]() The thread is talking about victimes, guys! |
OP, a smaller city may give you more value for your money but a bigger city like Lagos will propel your career more. |
Mindlog:This is what men have reduced themselves into by always refusing to take responsibility for thier actions. |
These are the different ways people die everyday. You only know about these people cause they were famous. |
Is that not the ultimate slapping machine I'm seeing? |
Nice one! fasho01: StreetFight: fasho01:You've heard what you wanted to hear and you're baring you teeth like a masquerade from South Eastern Nigeria. If you had read the write-up, you'd have known in what capacity she's leading. But you'd rather sexualise or undermine everything female as if it makes you feel better about your own limitations. Don't quote me. |
RlCHSATAN:Well... I thought you just wanted to leave the country regardless of the place. |
Exactly! That's why I tell women, if you're being abused in your marriage, leave! Stop thinking of what people will say. It's just that it's same people saying "you're free in Christ!" that will say the most when you decide to follow your path and be true to yourself. |
The last paragraph doesn't make much sense. How can she be living a luxurious lifestyle with an estimated networth of $3000? And she's the most paid? I'm sure that was a mistake. |
Have you considered Centrafrique? A nice place. |
This is sad. Funny thing is NL people will find a way to call out the lady and not the guy who's the main 'character' here. |
Lol... These musicians don't have limits anymore. The same people onhere shouting about BBN (which hardly shows nudity) and how it's corrupting our youths would gladly look the other way when musicians do worse. Finally, people only talk against what they don't like and not really against immorality. |
GreatResearcher:Sorry for the assumption but you get my point nevertheless: let people be into whatever that pleases them. In each country, there are people who worship the Grammy awards and people who couldn't care less. Even those that don't care have something else that commands their attention, local or international. I don't expect Americans to react like Nigerians when an American wins any Grammy cause it has always been the case; the majority of the winners and nominees are from there, and therefore the fan base is already extremely divided. But the specific fans of of the winning artists still get excited about it. If most of the artists were Nigerians, I'm sure most people wouldn't be as excited. We can't pretend as if we don't know the western media have been the mainstream media for long, it's not a bad thing if Africa penetrates them. |
The same OP will jubilate if his preferred footballer wins Ballon D'or. Grammy is the musicians' Ballon D'or and it's celebrated everywhere. People only ignore it when thier preferred artists don't win anything. If you had watched France24, ICI RDI, etc, you'd have seen how it was celebrated in other places where the winning artists have strongholds. Even in the US, musicians use it to measure success. They only say "Bleep it" when they get nothing or have issues with the organizers. This idea of always saying "but in America..." is sickening. Do you! |
Bloggers and fans creating divisons for their own amusement. Anyway, for those feeling superior cause they don't listen to certain types of music, please note that music is an art and not science. The artists create thier own universe and you choose the one you want to live in. None is essentially superior. |
clarkmos15:Are you referring to the issue between the US and Iran or the history of the American people (being principally Europeans)? If it's the later, I'd say most people know that cause most of what the guy said are basic history here in the US/Canada and we see the aftermath of that history everyday. The red Indians recently got a national apology in Canada and they are still government's protégés up till now. So asides from what we are taught in schools, we can see for ourselves the "remnants of history". It's true we aren't the best in History/Geography but, at least, people know how the two countries started. |
Why are bloggers this dangerous? The man died in 2019. Meanwhile, his contributions to education in West Africa (especially in Ghana) remain unprecedented. |
