Girl whats up? How you doing?

Well am in that boat as well, i have an 8and half year old daughter and she is my world.
But the sad fact is that men do discriminate when you have a kid but i have come to see that in this day and age, there are lots of single mothers so men kinda have no choice.

It is hard datig as a single parent but you kinda have to date, you cant let that get in your way.
You need to make a conscious effort to go out and meet new pwople, do new things and in that process you will come across lots of people.

At least with you its different cause u have a boy but i have a daughter and with girls you have to be twice as careful.
I cant have any 'strangers' in the house cause there will always be lots of questions to answer and i dont want her seeing too many different men in my life.

Rite now, i go out when i can and ai pay a child minder to watch her for me. NOBODY except my family sleeps in my house and i dont care how handsome or good the person is.

Its quite hard but men would rather you be honest than lie.
I personally havent had a problem so far and i feel the way you present your son to people matters - dont let having a baby put you off going out or stop you, and dont feel you have to settle for anybody cause u already have a child in fact, that should make you wanna settle for the very best.

If its someone you feel you like and wanna date him.

Just mention to him that you are really bothered by what he does, and if he still carries on, then you admire other guys when you are out with him as well and let him see how it feels.

Its not about being bad but sometimes, we just have to give them a piece of their own medicine.

This question is directed to all the people dating on this site.
How do you cope cause sometimes you see someone flirting with your guy/ girl. Sometimes people give them a hard time or wouldnt you just like a place where you could post topics about your other half and ask the inhabitants of the house for advice (afterall the site is here for advices and all).

Please do share your views on this.

You shouldnt date someone because of what you can get. Cuase when the frebbie stops then you will want out.

Personally, i prefer to date older guys cause i have a very strong personality and it will take an older more mature guy to deal with me. Age does matter sometimes to me cause i have dated guys ma age in the past and its been a disaster.

Another thing i still keep going out on dates.

Have a day/nite thats your 'date' night.

The question is do you like him?

Even if he likes you (which i think he does) it is of no relevance if you dont feel the same way.
If you know you dont feel the same way for him, start giving him subtle hints that u are friends and cant go beyond that - so that he dioesnt waste his time.

But if you do, then go for it - good luck.

My guy, the thing is that once you are married, the whole situation changes.

If you discover that with concrete evidence, and you still love her then you should give her another chance - there is nothing new under the sun.

But obviuosly the trust element is gone but if you allow her another chance, you will have to build that trust all over again. Its gonna be real hard cause whenever she receives fone calls or even goes out, you will be suspicious but tr as much as possible not to allow your suspicions run riot in your head.

And another thing is there is no flame without smoke - obviously you need to reflect on the fact that u may have contributed to the whole saga (maybe u work late or you just dont give her the time of day) but u just need to do alot of deep thinking.

Another thing is to see a real professional marriage counsellor. If you are believers dont leave it to ur pastors alone, let them assist you in prayers but go to a professional cause thats there job.

It shall be well but if you can, and yu still love her dont let this one go without a fight.

Just make sure you date properly, dont get too lovey at the minute so that what u are supposed to see wont get overlooked.

Make sure you have someone that is ur pal that u will be accountable to so that you can have a third party that can see the relationship from the outside.
