So there are no Nigerians in the abroad??

3 months is too short to know somebody.

Long distance relationships like this have to be serious and marriage minded.

Not a good idea to tell people you just met of your travel plans.

If you want to date, when you get to the abroaad, visit Nigerian church/mosque, naija student unions, etc. You could even meet someone who will make your transition easier.
Laughs. So you want him to restrict his options while there are abundant Nigerian women in Nigeria. Why should he seek out Nigerian women abroad where the percentage of Nigerians are in the minority. Also, many of these Nigerian women have abandoned their traditional values and now acclimatize to western cultures and norms.

Yes, the best place to meet young Nigerians are colleges. However, the number of female Nigerians may be in limited supply or unavailable for him. The OP might not be migrating as a student which puts him in a difficult situation to get Nigerian women. Also, when you are out of Nigeria, you are expose to different nationalities, races, and even species that you cannot explain the cross breeding or the percentage of mixtures involved with the individual. In other words, you would be amazed at the beauty of women from other climes. Hence, the parents are right that he may not prefer to have a Nigerian woman as wife if he travels.

OP, listen to your parents. Marriage is a very important decision a man would make. Don't play around it. As a man who doesn't reside in Nigeria, I will repeat myself - Listen to your parents.

Tell your Parents to get one for You.

If you don't mind.
Read this again OP. Let your parents pick and vet the woman for you. It is faster and mitigate most of the risk involved in picking a suitable wife.

Our parents are more experienced and will look out for traditional values in women. Also, it encourages and strengthen the relationship between your potential wife, your parents and her parents too.

Trust me Chief, you don't want to pick a random woman and import her. Let your family doing the vetting for you.

This governor did not win an election. He was not even 2nd runner up. This means he isn't popular. Yet, he is fighting with an ex-governor and sitting senator. The governor should be consolidating power and delivering the dividends of democracy to boost his popularity amongst imolites.

Misplaced priorities

Well said. He made a terrible mistake inviting a western modern woman over to his house to BREAK UP with her.

Chief - don't repeat such mistake again. You are fortunate she has a conscience. She could have easily accused you of sexual assault or any mischief to get at you.

Huge blow to the Glaziers and Woodward. They would have stole the highlight by withdrawing first. The damage has been done and the mistrust between fans and owners deepened as well as other stakeholders in English and European football.

These individuals resigned from their various positions with the ECA. They should never have their position restored neither should they have voting rights again. They are snakes and treacherous.

I do agree with you when you said "ladies dont care where you got your money, but they will help you to spend it" but what i don't get is the dressing part. Am i supposed to wear Agbada or Baba riga before i approach a lady?

As for the packaging part, she has been to my crib before and all she was screaming was wow! wow!! wow!!! till she left, telling me i am doing better for my age that no lady will come here and want to leave.

Ladies are very confusing i must say and as for Mosdii, He is gradually becoming a mentor to some of us

Life is so simple. The strength of a woman lies in her submissiveness to her husband. Feminists have failed or refused to understand this simple logic because they are lazy to the roles they are supposed to play as a woman.

All feminists want is to be a man but they still complain bitterly when given the role of man.
Cannot agree more with this comment. Well said.

Feminism is not our culture. If that didn't set your head straight, nothing will. We are Africans and not the west. If you want feminism, move to the west. In Africa, you MUST submit to your husband and respect him. You MUST behave like a wife and not a partner.

The “bad girls” are quick to latch on to a man. They do so to multiple men at a go. Meanwhile the “good girl” stays, waiting for a man to approach her. Most men know showing intentions to a woman comes with more demerits than benefits so hardly bother. The “good girl” wee sleep there while waiting.
Don't believe the hype. Men want quick sex and would be in line to those who can provide it to them. However, only a foolish man marry a girl who is a community hoe a.k.a street girl.

there was a girl I met on Facebook,we were making a nice conversation ; then I asked for her number, she gave me ( and was so excited for giving me her number ),so I call her to come over, and she came over ,we had a sex . so after she left ; I gave her some of money (#1,500) she was happy with it and hug me ,and she then she left . two weeks later she called me and said her elder sister child is sick ,I asked her what's the problem? she said she doesn't know what kind of sickness is that ,huh ! so where are they now ,she replied : they're in the hospital now ( I was like getting mad because she was dancing to a beat of collecting my money )I told her babe ,I can feel your pains, but I don't have money,I'm sorry. then two days left, she called me with someone number and said that, she has sold her phone because of her sister baby ,and now she's looking for a way to send her parents money ,huh ! so what are you up to now ,she replied : I can see why some girl chose to be a prostitute ( I was sad inside) and besides I have talked to a prostitute in imo state ( I cried loudly and she heard it ) . I said babe ; it's because of phone you don't have or money to send to your parents, she said no , indeed she's in need of money, and she's leaving Rivers State to imo state next month. I so much loved this girl, and I don't want her to be a prostitute.
please what will I do for her not to be a prostitute,I'm begging

I think you considering the situation. I have offered you my advice. Do you know how much debt she has? How many kids she currently has? What is the current situation with the kid(s) father?

Is she attempting to lure you so the household income increases for tax breaks and property purchases? What is her credit score? Is she trying to have another child because she wants to increase child welfare benefits and possible child support payment in the future? How old are the kids?

These are pertinent questions. You are free to pursue your emotional bidding. However, beware of single mothers.

Because the uneducated women are feminine and stick to traditional values. While the educated ladies think their education increase their value in the sexual market place.

Wrong! Men don't value women's education that much. Men values feminine, traditional women who would respect them, cooperate with them and be submissive to them.

Muna4real:
Many Nigerian men are not my type. Their uselessness is glaring.
You seem to have problems with men. A snapshot of your comments appears indicative of hate towards men. Hence, how would a man pick you as his wife.

I have noticed many Nigerian women think Nigerian men are horrible and they maybe better options abroad. Honey, I have got bad news for you. White men are not checking for black men. Infact, many white men are reconsidering marriage. The only white men who have fetish for black women are Italians and they are more controlling than Nigerian men. You can ask sisters in Italy.

Also, I have observed Nigerian women, with view of landing a husband, relocate to the west. This is a laughable decision. Life in the west can be boring and lonely. There is also cultural differences to contend with and many men don't confront women publicly because of toxic feminism. Additionally, dating apps don't yield positive results due to Bleep boys mentality and research conducted by Tinder showed black women are at the lower end of the dating pole preference.

My advice to you is to replace the perceived mentality you have towards Nigerian men. Log off social media where toxicity is promoted. Seek therapy to treat your fears, insecurities and relationship traumas. Finally, make yourself available and date with a purpose.

She is a single mother and you are her meal ticket. Don't fall for her manipulative tactics. She is looking for a man to save her financially. There is a reason she is a single mother and not with the father of her child.

You have to be decisive about your choices and marriage is a very important decision to make for a man. You didn't tell us her race, ethnicity or background information. Though this is less important. Stay clear off single mothers especially single mothers in the west. They are chaotic.

The things women will do because of fear and scarcity will shock you. The fear of abandonment can drive a women to act in strange ways. Do I want to blame your wife, I don't think so. When you turn on social media, all you read and see are the negatives on marriage and family. Nobody really cares about marriage success, which is extremely in major numbers than what is perceived. They all want confirmation of their biases.

Miserable women in their loneliness will advise others to severe their marriage to join them in misery. Ladies, you just don't only have a marriage, you have a family and your entire objective is to make your marriage and family a success. Any other objectives, regardless of how positive it may be, is one step to severing and breaking up your family.

Romance › Re: I'm In Love With My Boss At The Office by Boss13: 2:36pm On Mar 21, 2021
Women are hypergamous in nature - they prefer sexual partners who are above them. This is one reason many women prefer financial stable men and often times, older men.

In your situation, your Boss sees herself as an authority over you. Hence, you are beneath her. While there may be exceptional cases, the probability of both of you being together is close to none.

However, if she is single, older (35 - 40) and with a slim chance of ever getting married. You can take the risk. At that age, potential suitors who catches her fancy no longer pursue her because she is old. Also, most of her female friends are married, have kids and well settled in their martial home. She would be horribly lonely, irritated with her relationship status, under pressure from family, friends, society, and herself on the reason why she can't get a man. This age also comes with baby rabies (the urgent need to be a mother) and with the slim choices of available men, she may settle for lesser preference - like you.

If she is not within that age range, don't attempt it. Brush those emotional feelings off your head, focus on your job and look at other potential ladies around you especially those who consider you attractive.

The alternative option is to leave your job. Work six (6) times harder to be financially attractive and then try to woo her. During this period, keep in touch briefly by sending pleasant messages on special days like birthdays and public holidays. Don't be evasive and intrusive with the messages. The sad part with this option is her being attractive and pleasant. If she has such qualities, she would be off the market before you become attractive to her.

UmuEri:
This story sounds more believable than the once concocted by FFK
There are inconsistencies with both stories. Both stories are written to taint and vilify the other. However, I have identified some inconsistencies.

- she was a rich undergraduate with lot of businesses (no names) and could buy any car of her choice. I find this unbelievable.
- Her family is middle class but she built a house for them. The source of fund is still unknown.
- FFK accounts were blocked by EFCC (possibly true). However, the case has been swept under the rug with no news of it. One begins to wonder, who funded the IVF treatment which is expensive. Who funded the police escorts and security guards attached to her? How was FFK able to pay for chemotherapy for the mom and contribute to the burial of the dad, if his accounts are still blocked? How were they feeding, clothing and maintaining their lifestyle?

I am not excluding FFK from this shenanigans. Certainly, from reading both statements, there was control issues with the marriage. There was domestic violence as well as accusation of infidelity. However, I would hold FFK more accountable than the wife. He has acted immature and irresponsible. If your wife is not willingly to get on your program, let her go peacefully.

This is a case of poor due diligence on both individuals.

They can hold it.

Let them continue to deceive themselves. Na their families go suffer.

If Nigerian abroad truelly send 29 billion dollars, we wont be in any dollars crises even if the price of oil falls.

In 2019, Nigeria oil revenue was $64.9 billion, so this people abroad are telling us that they send almost half of the country's oil revenue. What a joke.

Infact oil and agriculture are the bulk of Nigeria's revenue, not diaspora remittance.
You will also suffer because those families won't be able to purchase goods and services. Hence the overall consumption in Nigeria will dwindle further.
