if u have to meet a stranger for the first time then meet him an open area with ppl around and not in a secluded area or a hotel or u can carry someone along with u. Being security concious is bae.
Evil people will perfect a way to carry out their plans even if you meet in public. So delivery men that have to drop items at peoples houses should stop working because its bad to meet strangers in isolated places?
Or maybe we should also blame the delivery men that have been attacked and killed while doing their jobs.
Lets also blame them for being greedy na, abi?

I understand that the tradition on Nairaland is to bash women for everything but you guys should have respect for the dead in this case.

You see this innate sadistic instinct most of you nairaland males have towards ladies will certainly ruin you all sooner or later

..I mean we know Nigeria is hellish for most of the citizens no thanks to you males, but females are not the reason why you are wretched, frustrated and starving!..females are not the cause of your sufferings!..quit pouring your frustrations out on females and maybe life will be better for most of you.

There are countless males who have been victims of these ritualistic murders so you lots are not immune from from being murdered for rituals or whatever..

Keep empowering those murderers until you or your loved ones becomes a victim
Don't mind them, many of them are killers and murderers themselves so they have to soothe their conscience by telling themselves that the women are greedy so they deserved it.

After reading through the comments on this thread I have realised that many men are evil and capable of committing murder of women.

They will justify it by telling themselves the women were greedy so they deserved it. Animals.

Do you know what made the girl take that risk, do you how desperately she needed money, maybe for a dying relative or for her siblings she is taking care of? Yet you soulless beasts will come here to blame her instead of advising lazy men like yourselves to stop looking for quick money.
Many people meet strangers for different reasons, not necessarily because of hook up or greed. People who sell things online meet the customers they sell to and put themselves at risk when they do that.
Some time ago there was a story on Nairaland about a Jumia delivery man who got killed by the buyer that didn't want to pay for the iPhone he ordered. Should we also blame the man for taking risk and meeting with strangers?

Let us condemn evil anywhere we see it, the killers were to blame in this case, not the woman.

Nobody likes selling their body for cash, hard times and suffering push women into it.
That's why prostitutes are usually hardened and always harsh, they are not happy with their lives.
I hope those blaming the girl in this story will suffer in the hands of fraudsters and scammers and then also get blamed for it.
Sick fools.

I hope the foolish boys going around on Nairaland calling women thrash can see what their fellow men are capable of doing?
You men are majority of rapists that do evil things like this and you still have mouth to bash women.

Look at the plenty blood that girl lost, I hope she survived with her internal organs intact.

Nairaland men have serious issues, always rushing to run women down and mock them for absolutely no reason at all.

If a girl says she is jobless, na problem.

OK now she has a job its still paining them,
'why is she calling herself CEO?'
Why is she feeling funky about the business she is running?

For heavens sake Victorian or whoever referred to herself as CEO please go ahead and be proud of your achievements and call yourself any nice name you want, whether CEO or bosslady or billionaire you name it, go ahead and give yourself any title you feel like. At least you have a honest source of living and you are ambitious and that's something remarkable for a person living in a country where youth are corrupt and always searching for quick money or ways to scam other people and get rich. Don't let anyone downplay your success, please ignore that guy, greater heights await you in future amen.

God bless your hussle babe smiley

They will use golddigger and wicked woman to run op out from this forum and use that as a stepping stone to start their usual insult of Nigerian women.

So you guys do the same thing Nigerian women do (looking for a partner that is financially stable), but when women do it, it is called good digging, when men do, it's called being realistic. undecided

All you men looking for rich ladies from well to do homes better get these facts into your head, whether you like it or not.

1.) As long as she is rich and also contributing to the financial well being of the family, you better be ready to join her in doing house work and cleaning and taking care of children because knowing how selfish and entitled Nigerian men are I am already 100% sure you all think you can just marry a lady that will be a fellow breadwinner and also house maid that you can bully and order around in the name of submission.
Once your wife joins you in paying bills, school fees, house food etc you have no other fvcking choice but to join her in anything regarding housework, even cooking. Yes.

If you don't like my argument, ban me from using the internet.
So the boys don't they have sense to run away from Boko Haram and agbero life and focus on studies instead? Abi their brain no dey work again.

Lmao..who needs marriage. If i need sex...ashawo cheap wella...if i need home food. I can employ a calabar nanny for 15k monthly that will cook all exceellent meals without wahala...men marry just to procreate and for societal reasons..many women are ready to be baby mamas so why does a man need marriage. If a lady stays in her fathers house over a certain age. Shes a shame to her family
Thats exactly what we are saying @ the builded part,
Many women only get married because they will be insulted and shamed unfairly if they remain single. The ones that are already married stay in bad toxic marriages because that will be shamed if they leave.

That is literally THE ONLY REASON many women get married. There is no benefit.

Remove the unfair shaming of single women and I can assure you a LOT OF WOMEN will stay single and start putting their dreams and ambitions first instead of looking for one entitled slave driver that wants his wife to provide for the family, bear his name and birth him children to bear his name while being a housemaid and nanny at the same time.

He made you risk your life to undergo an unwarranted major surgery, because of sex? shocked Your husband has a big problem, but so do you.

Do you even love yourself? Do you want to live to cater for your daughter and have more kids? Do you want your parents to bury you? All because you don't want your husband to cheat?

So let him cheat. Let him take his perverted sex life somewhere else. You are not some Hooker, you are his wife, his partner, his soulmate. Why do you think he doesn't respect that? Because you let him!

I understand that sex among young people these days is kinky, but what you are describing up there is crazy and sick. You need to get yourself out of that situation before it's too late

Don't tell anyone, don't involve family or friends. But take your stand and stick to it. Let him cheat if he wants to. In any case how long do you think you can keep up with all that? He will definitely cheat eventually, unless he seeks help.
This kind of sexually reckless man is sure to infect her with something if she let's him cheat.

The fact that he likes anal and locking armpits, God forbid.
Where did you see this abnormal man ooo, Op?

Your husband is extremely selfish, sorry ma'am.
He actually made you do CS just for his selfish need to have a tight vagina?
Does he even know that CS is a major surgery and it sometimes has serious life threatening complications?
Then the anal sex part, telling you your pains is what arouses him, tufia. and you are there bearing his sexual assault, better tell someone before he damages your anus or don't you know regular anal sex damages tightness of the anus?

Be there doing good wife until he turns you to daily diaper wearer.

Thats if this story is even true sef, see how am giving advice as if I have confirmed OP isn't lying.

Resist the urge to rationalise it. No human, not even animals or trees deserves such.

Our women are not happy with the men. Most of these injustices again the feminine were carry over from our ancestors. It's difficult being a woman so don't add salt to their injuries.

As an old man, I will share a secret with you. Do you know that how you treat your nanny, workers and that sweet naive girl next door who you took advantage off knowing she can't refuse you have ripple effect on the collective?

If today, the feminine succeeds in upstaging the natural order of the masculine not for balance and respect but for revenge, It would be brutal and yet poetic justice.

May yours truly and his seeds be exempted from that madness. Amin.
Wow, you're a man?
This is nice.

Let's all treat each other decently regardless of gender. No need to run women down or oppress them because your religion told them to submit in marriage.

The man stops being head of the home..
Cooking and house chores become the responsibility of both partners.

Bride price seizes to exist.

Though I don't support men who treat their wives like slaves in the name of tradition and submission because their wives are housewives/jobless.

Most men who tell their wives to quit their jobs/careers to take care of kids always complain later even if they don't complain at home no matter how rich they are.
The bottom line is that if women are no longer depending on men for money or provisions then no more bearing husbands name after marriage and no more waiting for wife to be cleaner and cook and even the children will have to bear both their names, hyphenated.
You see how everything changes?
The man is no longer head and cannot control the wife and since she now equally provides and does housework it would be very unfair for the kids that she carried and gave birth to to answer only the man's name.

If I say current marriage laws does not make sense anymore some people will now start jumping on my head and saying I am encouraging hoeism.

It's very related.
You said women should be independent to get married and avoid oppression, in that same marriage of independence does the man still depend in her for housework and cooking or does he start doing it on his own?

Why are you trying to deflect?

Equality means sameness, from the dictionary. So men aren't equal to women.
Men And their xtics should not be the subject of a woman's completeness cos that means changing your nature.

Equity states that despite our differences, you can enjoy same Human Rights.
The highest form of inequality is to make sure group equal to what they aren't. Women are the ones that will burn out in this process
Which dictionary defined equality as sameness?

This is the definition of equality as relating to genders

equality
/ɪˈkwɒlɪti,iːˈkwɒlɪti/
noun
noun: equality; plural noun: equalities
1.
the state of being equal, especially in status, rights, or opportunities.
"an organization aiming to promote racial equality"

If you want to define equality as sameness that wouldn't even make sense, no two men are the same talk less of men and women yet you want to group all men under the umbrella of being superior to women.

The truth is that until we get these outdated misoginistic religions out of the way, people will continue to believe women are inferior human beings.
The Bible and Quran don't even mix words when relegating women to position of inferior subhuman which is simply pathetic and men are all to glad to trample on women's rights and keep yelling in their faces that women are nothing next to them.
Just look at the foolish comments on this thread classifying all women as inferior to all men regardless of achievements, intelligence, morals, contribution to welfare of others, etc.
People really think just because they have joysticks they are better off than those with vaginas regardless of who she is.
Meaning that aboki shine my shoe in my street is superior to Angela Merkel or even Bisola Ayeola?
Or let me bring it down, is the uneducated street tout pick pocketing in Lagos better than the girls in University that studied hard and graduated with honors? Just because he has a penis?

This system of grading humans superior and inferior based on gender is very old and tired and just unbelievably foolish but men will still hold on to it because it places them on a pedestal.

Fine, there are attributes and features men possess that make them better at certain things than women eg strength, but there are also certain attributes women possess that makes them better than men eg emotional intelligence, ability to carry and bear a child, empathy, kindness and less propensity to violent crimes.

No gender is superior or inferior to the other, everyone has something of value to contribute to society.
let's try and use common sense as Nigerians please, all this extreme religiosity has really held us back for too long.
