Ehen? Messi fit get injury? The boy get correct babalawo for Beunes Airies o! Wouldn't be bad for us all if he were out for the rest of the season though. Except of course you are a Barca fan. |
So,it's safe to call Chelsea former champions of europe, right? ![]() |
Tusky44:And who told you that the people of the Niger Delta want to be part of Biafra your Biafra? You need the oil, abi? Well, forget it! You can go and import crude oil from Sokoto. The ND has no need for thee. |
*yawns* And now to other news. President Jonathan plans to be the first Nigerian to land on the moon come 2015. Now, that is more believable than the crap that this topic is. |
fantasia is a waste of time. Took my babe there some months ago only to find out it's one small shop. She was asked to pay N100 and do the test. She said hell no, and we bounced. Total waste of my precious fuel. Mtschewww. |
take dat: I see nothing wrong with tolling the newly built bridge since it is a PPP arrangement but the toll should be reduced and made affordable for the common man. Those condemning this move for reasons that it was funded through tax payers money should as well ask the government to stop collecting fares from people using the BRT and Lag buses since they are both funded through tax payers money. This arrangement is obtainable in developed countries as long as there is an alternative route for those unwilling to pay toll.Help me tell them o. Even in the UK there are roads that are tolled, and boys dey jejely take longer routes to avoid paying tolls. It's optional. You don't have to ply that route. Sometimes, I think we Nigerians want everything free. Free education, free health care, free food, free water, free light, even free wife too . Haba! But that said, they should try and reduce the toll fee and government needs to be more transparent. As for me, I'd rather pay a reasonable fee for quality service than pay for service I still don't get i.e. NEPA! |
FLYGERIAN91: Nigerians are too quick to judge others..... O.B.O means "Omo Baba Olowo" nigerians..... It doesn't mean wateva in yoruba....its O.B.O not obo... SMH at all ignorant Pple..... At his age, he's handling soo much cash better than a lot older artists who spend money on unnecessary things and wind up in debt but he's investing his money in business. I am soo shocked that even some people that should knpw better are hating his efforts to invest.... SMH..... My brother carry go jaweee... Enemies only make you famous....And a clothing line to you is the best investment this young man can commit his funds to? How many Nigerian celebrity clothing lines do you patronize? How many of their stuff have you bought and do you have in your wardrobe? This is a business I have done feasibility studies for in the past. Setting up a monogramming and heat transfer outfit would be an even better option. |
Er, OBO could also be monkey in Yoruba. Not that it's a better option though. #justsaying ![]() |
What?!!! So why didn't Chelsea sign me? I've been playing FM since 2006. I've won the Champions League twice, won the EPL once, FA cup twice, and even the league cup three times with Man United. I've coached the Spanish and Turkish national teams, coached Lazio and Inter in Italy and I'm now coaching both the English national team and Manchester City simultaneously. Aha Eyimba, at least una fit sign me now. |
For all those saying they can't work for someone younger than them, please when you do start your own business or own your own home, make sure every member of your staff is younger than you. That includes your driver, gateman and so on. Oh, and if you are offered a promotion at your current job and it means you may have to supervise people older than you, please decline the position and let those who are older take your place; even if you are more qualified or have longer years of service in that establishment. After all, if you can't work under someone younger than you, why shoulder older people work under you? |
Here is my own conspiracy theory. Is the PDP slowly using the judiciary to systematically weaken the ACN's grip on Lagos so they can stage a hostile takeover in 2015? My mind is just working overtime o! What say ye? |
Benitez: Hello Fernando Torres: Oh sh*t, not you again! |
And to think I put my money on Mark Hughes to get the sack first and then RDM gets fired. Will Mancini be joining him? |
Please, is it safe to start referring to Chelsea as former european champions? ![]() |

In fact, I dare say that the one place where your university degree gets you any respect in this country is in the military (if you sign up that is). In corporate Nigeria nobody sends your B.Sc, B.A or whatever. You will stand, sit, squat and kneel in that same hot sun just because you want to write a bank or oil coy test. Why don't you walk up to the recruiters and tell them "hey, I'm a graduate men! Get me a comfortable chair and seat me in an airconditioned room" Definitely flogging is unacceptable, but basic drills, as tedious as they may be, is no biggie. |
elampiro: It looks like you are a soldier man.I'm not, but I did my primary assignment on a military base after the 3 weeks camp. We were afforded officers status because we were graduates and even old sergeants respected us. I often felt embarrassed when grandfathers called me 'sir' or served me at the officer's mess. But in that one year I got to appreciate the discipline and the intricacies of the chain of command. Young Lieutenants who were my mates treated us as equals. Your graduate degree is actual respected in the military set up, but not when you are in training, be it short service or NYSC. |
cute9ja: this is not a big deal at all. infact there is absolutely nothing wrong in this picture. i am a batch B corp member in oyo state, and when i got into camp in July, the first day we were told that our hands, legs, bodies will be their's in the 3 weeks period of orientation.Help me tell them o. Even a commissioned officer goes thru hell in the hands of a drill sergeant before he is commissioned. But once he is decorated as a 2nd Lieutenant he becomes the sergeant's superior. The 3 weeks orientation is for para-military training and you will be treated as if you are in the army your degree notwithstanding. Even kids in summer bootcamp won't whine like this. |
Na your mates dey do 1yr compulsory military train after college graduation for some foreign countries, you dey complain of frog jump and kneeling down. NYSC scheme involves a bit of paramilitary training. It nothing to groan about. |
And why exactly have some people turned this to a black vs white issue. Must you always fly the race card? If Jay-Z had done the same to Bill Cosby or say Sidney Poitier or Louise Gorsett Jnr, I would still consider it disrespectful. As for those talking about net worth? I don't even know what to say to you. Dollar signs have got you to befuzzled to comprehend. Honor is due to whom honor is due. |
Er, @OP, AY the comedian has used some of these lines for his Pastor Chris Okotie jokes. You guys must have been reading the same novel and using the same dictionary, right? Just saying o! |
Abbott: ItsModella was still animal rights compliant but this wonda guy worst past apocalypso. Chei! Poor lizard. May god help pests this december cos peeps don get enuff idea to experiment with.Er, guy, sorry but the Animal Rights Commission does not arrest or interrogate terrorists. We leave that to JTF. Na only kondo and koboko we dey take go do arrest o. Person wey bomb lizard na him you wan make we go visit? |
ItsModella: These days we use rat gum. We soak canes/sticks in salt water so that once a rat gets stuck on the gum board, we'll flog nonsense out of it (every 2-3 hours) and leave it to die...foolish things.*knock, knock* Are you ItsModella? We are from the Animal Rights Commission. You are under arrest for cruelty to animals. Haha, na only you wicked reach like this? We will throw you in a rat-infested jail cell. Let's see how you will fare. We've already spread word of your evil deeds to the rodent community. |
What's the story behind the attack? what is he supposed to do really? you guys go on and on about forensics too much and fail to realise a database must first be established before any sort of forensic investigation can yield anything. Bring the FBI to investigate this crime scene and all they can tell you is what happened. With 150+million people and no finger print database what use is finger print?
You're quite right bro. Even with all the finger prints that we have "donated" to the FG over the years with National ID card scheme, Voter's Card, SIM Card registration, international passport application and what not, it still baffles me that the police cannot trace criminals using their fingerprints. I wonder what they do with all the so-called data collated. |
So what's the total budget? Any agency fee and agreement stuff? |
SELFWORTH: Point of correction. PLEASE Church money does not belong to anybody. Whatever he went through, the church is not HIS personal business. A Church is not a money making venture. You see that is where you are wrong. Part of the tithe biblically goes to take care of the upkeep and needs of the priest/levites/pastor. Or you don't know some pastors get salaries like CEO's? Now whether buying a jet is part of the pastor's needs is a different issue. But don't think part of your tithe won't go into your pastor's account. Also, who says some churches are not money making ventures? Where you there when the "man of God" received his "call?" Many of them are presently run like businesses and even employ staff. Christianity is a personal journey. That is why no pastor's action can shock or infuriate me. He is not holier than I am, and contrary to popular belief, God doesn't expect more of him than He does of me. That is what I believe. |
kokoA: you totally are entitled to your opinion but let me ask you a question: Is it my responsibility to provide for another man's family? The answer is NO! But if I choose to do that out of charity as a christian, it's welcomed right? But I won't go out of my may because I want to be in the good book of people like you to deprive myself 'luxuries' I can afford out of my hard earned naira. Now mark the the words "my hard erned naira". Can you tell me what the government is doing with the nairas gotten from our resources? Can you tell me what our pastors are contributing to the society which can justify the kind of afluent lifestyles they live? How on earth can you compare hard working citizens who choose to spend their monies on luxuries they can afford to the government and pastors?Great. So where does it say that it is the pastor's responsibility to provide for another man's family? And what make you think the pastor's (or church's) money is not hard-earned? Do you think it is easy to grow a church from a few members to millions globally? Or you think its easy to talk/preach them into donating or tithing enough money to buy a jet? If you think it is easy, I dare you to give up your day job and give it a try. Some of these pastors have been at it for over 30yrs and have contributed immensely to society. Maybe this is their way of "enjoying luxuries they can now afford" But that isn't even my point. My message is a reminder to all Christians to help others even now with what they have. Who says you can't give most of your "hard-earned money" to the poor and let go of those "luxuries". But truth is most of US will not. So why do you think Mr. Pastor will be different? |

- from Rivers, Delta, etc. I can grant permanent residence status to people from Europe, Asia, Americas, and other parts of Africa once i notice they share my values and are hygiene conscious. We want our country and that is all we ask for. Give the desert to Hausa and the West to Tinubu them and we would not mind at all. Stop this hopeless experiment now cos it is a faulty one. BIAFRA my BIAFRA.
