beeevan: To some, its really till death do them part, stay married or be dead, chose oneIt's really pathetic |
Kachisbarbie: The lady never said we should settle for less - I guess y'all misunderstood her...she meant, we shouldn't be blinded by physical looks, sometimes marriage goes beyond the physique...just marry someone you wanna wake up to everyday (and vice-versa)...that's just itI love this girl, your intelligence is intriguing. |
goalburner: one more question for u ma'amI'm not a se.x therapist Sir ![]() |
malaria: A healthy neat woman has no business with a smelly pussy. If a lady has offensive odour. She should check herself. Sometimes those chemicals people use to wash it contributes to itLike |
goalburner: thanks ma'am.My pleasure Sir |
goalburner: really? If soap must be used, then one has to make sure the soap is as mild as possible and less perfumed too. In all, plenty of water plus a clean (face)towel for a substantial time can do the trick. Actually, your best bet would be to ask a gynecologist. |
marieolae: I'm not reconsidering anythingGoodluck then! |
goalburner: why, pls i need to learnThere are couple of reasons why it is discouraged but i'll just have to summarize. It could lead to itching and infection because the Vaginal environment is acidic by nature as there are some healthy bacteria which are part of the normal flora. These bacteria protect the vaginal area and they can only survive in the acidic PH. Washing the area with soap which is basic would kinda offset or neutralize the normal acidic environment which will kill off the proctective bacteria around there and make it easier for unhealthy bacteria to strive. From this, infection may ensue. Soaps actually might be too harsh for the vagina and may cause irritation. Nobody said dont wadh your your Vagin really? Why won't a lady with healthy brain cells wash herself well ![]() All they are saying is be wary of soaps or the kinda one you use for it. It is healthier to do the washing without those strong perfumed soaps. If you love your body and your vagina ofcourse, you wouldn't wanna endanger it All the best |
marieolae: Ey ya. Well some girls have more interest in applying layers of pancake to their face, than washing their vagiina with soap. There's nothing you can do about it. Its life.If you ve been washing your vagina with soap, you might have to reconsider. Just saying |
Nobleval: how? Stop that unneccessary lie of yours.Ok, enjoy your Nigeria ![]() All the best! |
angelTI: Second class citizen in another man's land? Tufiakwa! It is better than being a second class citizen in your own land. That's what alot of Nigerians are right there in Nigeria |
Rest on my hero and role model. |
chuksbogus: JUSTWISEThanks for this. Gosh! |
handysuzy: My boyfriend coaxed me into becoming a member of nairaland; he is an addict of the forum himself. I have been using nairaland for quite a while now but didnt register hence I am new to so many things. Of course he doesnt know password. You are so funny, how do you intend to remain anonymous when you ve got a real profile pic? |
papilon89: the woman at the embassy wont have any problem with that as long as it is what u want; and you are confidently passionate about when you are telling her. the question now is if you want itOh! Im sorry, was talking 'bout my pal whom i'm making the enquiry for not the woman at the embassy(it took me time to figure out what you were talking about ). I mean the i dea of starting all over again won't appeal to her:-)Thanks once again for your time |
papilon89: with hnd you are good to go for bsc; but msc,Hmmm! Thanks for the reply but it's more like starting all over. I for one don't fancy the idea and i'm sure she won't either. I'm grateful. |
Hello house, please i have someone who wishes to run a postgrad./ masters in Germany but has got a HND. Would like to know what her chances are, like a first or second hand experience sort of. we' ve made alittle research on that regard and from the information we've garthered so far, it seems kinda hard to get in for masters straight on. Please, the question is thrown open and would appreciate helpful responses from peeps on here. @Eke40 et al, you sure are doing a great job, thumbs up. |
Malawian: you miss the point entirely. i hope you dont make the same mistakes with you diagnoses? na so people dey die ni.Mr. Perfect, your post makes no sense without an r @ the bolded. You just corrected the guy up there because he added a d to mature, he accepted the correction and moved on but you continued your rambling 'cause your stup.idity knows no bound.(no insult intended though) I wish you goodluck in your ignorance. Don't modify that post ![]() |
prettyprettywow: my main point is that it is not something to be proud of. So don't come here to make mouth about prescribing drug over the phone. It is wrong. In nigeria, even the chemist and quacks all prescribe drug over the phone. As a dr, it is ethically and legally wrong, and a real Dr knows it. proudly Saying that you prescribe drug over the phone is stupid. So don't come here to tell me about dropping out of medical school because, we have passed that stage. The stage we are in now is to beg the FG to take you guys back.At this point, i have to break my rule which is never to post on any thread 'bout the Nigerian Health sector and the joke of a country in general to counter your bolded statement. Your comments on all (Naija)Doctors/NMA threads are packed with so much hatred and jealousy that make me wonder what exactly it is you have with Naija Docs ![]() You sure will be"very happy" with your Nursing profession or whatever it is you're doing if you 'ld face it squarely and leave the Doctors out of your business or better still, go get yourself a place in a med. Sch All the best! |
Housewife? ![]() What happens to the years of admission hustling, the 6yrs of sleepless nights, my contribution to the society et al? Infact, it's like telling my father he is foo.lish. |
FotherMucker: My 14 days old girl died this morning after a brief illness because my wife without my knowledge fed her your salt water prank. How could your wife do such a thing? She ought to know that the anatomy of infants is really fragile and must not be messed with. Young man, turn your blame to your wife 'cause she was the one that decided to gamble with the life of your fragile baby by test running her saline concotion on her. The news was unconfirmed, the least she would have done to satisfy her inquisitive mind was to try it out on herself or another adult. What has been done has been done.As hard as it may be , please keep that behind you and don't let it take a bad toll on your marriage. Rest in peace to the cutey! And sorry for your loss |
prest: If you trust her then believe her and if not change her number so that she won't have any excuses to still keep his number@ the bolded, i thought the op was about his WIFE and not his preteen daughter ![]() |
Mintayo: I wanted to create a thread like this too o,but the Op was faster, lol.Colonization was far better i tell you. |
Sometime ago, i witnessed an incident at Trans Amadi, PH where some mopol guys escorting a lebanese beat the living daylight outa a driver because he didn't clear from the road for them to transport their almighty foreigner. They only left him after breaking his windshield. Meanwhile, those were guys instituted to protect the lives and properties of common Nigerians. After the act those policemen put up in the presence of the lebanese, i'm wondering why he won't maltreat his employees assuming he is an employer. How on earth are these foreigners supposed to respect and take us seriously? It's really PATHETIC to say the least. Back to topic... @ op because NIGERIA is a useless country. All you get for being Nigerian is fighting for yourself, there is no country whatsoever! |
firstEVA: I don't think it's just in the Nigerian context, its the ideal situation, its just unfortunate that everything is turning upside down and inside out all in the name of civilization. I believe a child born in wedlock fares better, my opinion though.Ofcourse you are right but alota women have been left frustrated because of the "i must get married before having kids" mentality and notion they have. What do you do if the marriage you are waiting for doesn't happen anytime soon? Would you rather waste your fertile and productive years waiting for the man to show up , force yourself into an unhappy marriage or have someone whom you will shower your love and attention on? I think those who desire to have kids and can give them good upbringing should go ahead and have them whether in or outside marriage. This will reduce the number of desperate and unhappy singles around, atleast they will have something and someone to live for. My opinion! |
firstEVA: pardon my ignorance but I thought after marriage, babies. In the Nigerian context. That's why people get old waiting to be married before they live happily or become fulfilled. |
Nobleval: Happy New Month to you guysHappy New month |
Ok |
@Op what level is she now? Is she doing well in school? I would advice she tries her best to get done with med. Sch, then she can switch over to Arts. That way, she can easily fall back to her medical career if somewhere along the line she suddenly realizes she never wanted Arts afterall. If she can go with this plan, there will be little or no regrets at the end of the day. |
flyingdutchman: Ignorance...Goodluck! |
flyingdutchman: Don't mind the local Agbalumo heads! See their mouth like "My neighbour is suffering...I know a sickler...it is terrible...I advise you to..." They can't even check Google. Heck! Some won't even read people's reply, they'll just start typing their gibberish! You are here ranting, do you think that procedure is a walk in the park? Do you know the financial and psychological commitment involved? Let's assume the Op is your brother, would you advice him to take the PGD route? Why can't we avoid what can be avoided and deal with the unavoidable? |

...we can't all be of the same school of thought - respect her own reasoning.

). I mean the i dea of starting all over again won't appeal to her:-)
