ogodos: Advice me.. Can i use a bank statement of 4month? and how much should my sister have in bank account if she sponsoring for my visiting to the UKis she going with you? |
GoldPencil: are you actually complaining about the use of a brand new fleet? *sigh* nigerians...it's not a complaint its an observation...with other low cost airlines |
KenGali: Am not sure I understand your point.perhaps I didn't understand what you meant by ... We need to discourage them over the next Six months cause once they start building, they will rather opt to finish even if we complete before them. |
oolumide: Lessons or what I ponder over. How come the east and southern africans are so different from we west africans in the way they live, build houses and roads and food. They copied europeans or british tootoo. Or may be I am wrong somebody should tell me more.Very interesting Question.....with all our Giant of Africa slogan |
Glad you enjoyed your holiday.... We are waiting for pics!!! ![]() |
Van Elk emphasised that the emerging low cost carrier would not venture into unprofitable routes and would be run professionally with the right calibre of personnel. He also disclosed that the airline was already making wide consultations with mega carriers in Europe, Asia and Africa for interlining arrangements, stressing that the responses had been very encouraging.interesting development, what about the almighty aviation fuel and how many profitable routes are there in Nigeria- they will make a killing if they plan international route- Lagos-London for £199 pounds is definitely possible, South Africa-Lagos £99, Lagos to Dubai £109... ![]() ]and why are they using brand new A319 jets for the take off of the new airline.? Easyjet, Ryanair rarely use brand new planes--- |
kokoA: It seems this man is not appreciative of what God did for him.. He survived an air crash for God's sake! Tender a gaddam resignation letter, go back to the U.S for more treatment and spend the remaining time of your life with your family and loved ones.. Na byforce to be governor?!He can't!!! he's not 100% 'with it' The blame should be solely with the PDP and all those around him |
KenGali: The forces frustrating the idea are not from Abuja, I suspect they are these business men from Apapa in Lagos. If you remember during the Kogi saga, those gun men killing people could not be identified as from Kogi State. Infact Kogi people denied knowing them or claiming responsibility.Nna if the tables were turned are you sure you wont be carry placards all over Nairaland- we've seen the blame game with Innoson, 2nd Niger Bridge, Tinapa etc |
asha 80: if the present government in anambra invested 4bn in it then that means it is backing it...the issue now is if there are forces in abuja fustrating it.also if anambrarians wants the next occupier of awka to continue backing it then they should scrutinize the people angling for awka house and their antecedents.surely they'll come a time when people will stop blaming others[Abuja,North].....for everything under the sun!!! |
ayo24: Pls Help, my car is factory fitted, do I need a tinted permit... I spent 6hrs in the police station yesterday like play like play ooooo. Pls respond fast oooo...6hours with the police and you didnt ask them directly? |
how far bros... |
Boom Bye bye i doubt he would have Nigeria as a first choice anyway U-16, U-17, U19, Under 21...nice progression |
In DealDey, their operation is different, they require you to transfer or pay into their bank account. Then someone will reconcile the payer with the dealdey account holder, and if it is settled, they will credit your dealdey wallet on their site. Only then will you be able pick and enjoy teh deals they have from time to time.this method sound inefficient!! why cant they accept credit/debit cards directly perhaps knowing this, people will have funds ready in their account 'just in case'; then again getting your money back will be another 'roundabout' |
My dear Jide, your making a fuss about nothing. That Odimegwu said it would cost that amount does not mean that he has been given the money already. That still has to go through the legislature for appropriation. We all know the practice as regards the appropriation of money in Nigeria. Ministers, heads of parastatals etc, do quote a very large sum for there various ministries and agencies, knowing fully well that there is no way that they would get anything close to that. It is now left for the legislature to determine the actual figure that will be approved. So, I believe that Odimegwu was being very tactful and diplomatic when he said he needed that figure for the census as he already knows that there is no way the legislature would approve the figure. He wanted a situation whereby he would eventually get what may be enough for the census exercise when the budget goes before the congress for appropriation. Because, if he were to quote the exact sum needed for the exercise, there was no way he would get anything close to that by the time the congress finished with it. And if that happened, the success of the exercise would not be guaranteed. So, please, hold your peace for now and stop jumping the gun.
funny kontry so the 'professional dude' quotes a head stunning figure then leave it to the reps to approve a sharing formula? |
greaterlove: I think you guys need to read this this was one year ago, the money will be spread over five years. Is it too large? I don't know but I guess instead of screaming over a news that is 1 year old we should be educating ourselves on what the money will be used for so as to hold them accountable when it fails.hmm interesting insight but then again you have to wonder what the Bureau for Statistics, minstry for planning, mhealth ministry and agriculture do with thier own annual budget-considering they already collect data, unless ofcourse he's telling nigerians those people are incompetent and have been siphoning money! Mr Odimegwu said |
noble sweetsoul: no! It a state in heaven..goat lyk ucome on admit it, it's a farm land |
I been dey expect better insight from customers and people wey sabi different type of car, home, health insurance no be all the part time agent wey wan sell life insurance |
what a funny thread its like a marketing competition now lol |
Jarus: No time to waste time.but they actually waste more time, trying to get back into lane- so those that have dutifully waited their turn will have to give way to them again to re-join |
Promhize: If it was possible, I would creep into my phone and creep out of some people's device and shoot them in the deadunfortunately for you mate! you'll lose your way in the digital super highway- cos this device i'm carrying was invented!! so tracing me is completely out of it- you might end up with Harry in Australia or Quinton in South Africa --hold your Vaseline mate= it might be a rough ride!!! ![]() |
Obiagelli: Bro and not buying that crap, you mean other countries didn't buy new equipment, you should check the Indian example and how they did theirs. This figure is still giving me headache, i would post a link for you later, btw the way are they going to weigh us, check our hiv status, scan us for cancer and check our future?Abegi those countries bought new equipment but WE the giant of Africa, We are going to INVENT ours in German Research Centers with World class researchers from China, Russia, Israel and the western world. You have to appreciate the fact that counting people has never been done before in sub-saharan Africa; In fact research from Nsukka has shown that western countries dont get it right-they guess! The Commander in Chief will be the honorary first individual to be 'counted' in this country with his amiable wife Dame Ebele Jonathan in the Waterside Country home in Otupke* where the international media will grace the epoch making event- they might even call some international raggae stars to attend at various region of the country to promote this census it will be record breaking i tell ya!! In some countries will come and learn from us pass me the bucket |
Obiagelli: Omg, is this census for unborn children or every living organismDont you know they have to invent every single machine that will be used, eveything wil be imported including those that will do the sums -specifically from Overseas, the result will be verified by UN,WHO,AU,EU,ECOWAS |
Ngwakwe: It seems the predators have assembled to discredit Mr Festus Odumegwu as to continue the culture of census rigging and manipulations.I totally agree with you, the only way to get it right is with a southerner!! anything else na manipulation |
Jesu! You know I thot it was a joke when I heard Festus Odimegwu is the new NPC chairman. This man is a first class money doubler and talking mmachine. The way this arzhole praise-sang OBJ's name made me had headache throughout OBJ's tenure. ![]() One thing we can't take away from him is that as he chops, he's good at getting the work done. So, if N600b is worth it...why not. This time abeg, if we must count cows in the north...then S/Southerners must count fish while Osun state should go ahead and count goats. Tenks!
Im only aware he was in private sector previously hence he will be working within some framework with professionals and the scope for 'chops' is limited- BUT here it is on a national scale where he wont have full control and majority of theose involved will be from the Nigerian public sector!!! so chops galore and wuru wuru to the answer!! |
richoko60: This topic should be re-phrased to WHY DO LAGOSIAN FORM EXTRA LANE DURING SLOW TRAFFICit's also applicable in Abuja of all places! considering the pavements are very wide and just above normal road level, some people were driving on them even with school kids walking home |
give it 10 days Toyota will write a 'robust reply' to these pumpkins |
this place will be flooded by agents dropping phone number swithout contributing- i see it in most insurance thread and the rest will go by adverts not personal experience the question is also too generic too |
adeaugustus: Fog in early September?? One of the reason why I don't like Europe.... Hello America? It's still summer time until mid September.Funny enough it's also one of the hottest days today 28C freaky weather |
kofsy: YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!congrats |
coogar: insurance companies must be crying.....this is a bad year for those parasites.and a bad year for motorist, cos they will be transfering that cost!!! |
2ndChance: All these oyibos sef. If the drivers had poor visibility, were they deaf as well? At least, they could have heard other cars crashing ahead of them na know how to apply brakes. 1,2,3,4, ......130. Haba, I was told oyibos were smarter than this.personally i think it's riskier driving on the motorway than normal roads, it mostly straight open road, most people are on 'auto drive cos they are not expecting anything. on the motorway you are mostly talking away with your feet on te throttle |
goldfish80: I don't really blame the weather conditions exclusively for this mess. British motorists are the worst in the world, arrogant, rude and technically inept! You could see they were driving fast and too close, its a miracle no one died.and statistics says....you're wrong...except this ofcourse is a bash the brits thread http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_traffic-related_death_rate http://jalopnik.com/5926297/the-ten-countries-with-the-worst-drivers/ |
