We go to work, come back and eat with each other, we chit chat about our day and go our separate ways until bedtime. We then wake up and do it all over again. Then on the weekends we spend one weekend together and one weekend doing our own thing.

The weekend we spend together we go out to eat and catch some form of entertainment (movies, a show, a concert, a party) and on Sunday we cook, and stay at home in our pj's for the whole day. He plays computer games, watches his sports, and chats on his phone. I do the weekend clean and get ready for the week ahead.

(And then I wake up)

I nearly spilt boiling water all down my bottom half a few weeks ago. I learnt never to cook naked, and never use my bare hands to lift a pot of the cooker.

The problem is this whole comparing yourself to others. You try to get to know yourself, focus on self development as far as self acceptance and getting to know your strengths and weaknesses. You don't have to be someone else. Get to know you and learn to love and appreciation yourself. You're still very young and you will be a different person as time goes on.

Enjoy the extroverts in your life, laugh at their jokes and enjoy their stories. Most people love to talk and they love quiet people who let them do all the talking. Start by asking questions about the other person, be interested in their life and really listen.

Oga I stayed at skylight hotel at Bole road. There is nothing ghetto about there and spent good 12 days going to work at UNDP office located next to olymbia round about . Not everyone on naira land is a low life. Addis Ababa is a backward city when compared to other cities of east Africa that I’ve been to ( Nairobi , Dar es salaam and Kigali). Even some diplomats I worked with during my stay attested to how difficult it was living there and how they keep their families in Pretoria / Johannesburg. A city where you can barely find an ATM machine on the road. The taxis you find on the streets are similar to what I use to see in northern nigeria in 1997/1998.

I'm not debating that but calling it a war torn country is an obvious exaggeration. It has many of the same problems most African countries face but it is also far ahead of many more African countries.

What do expect from people who walk their dogs daily and let their elderly parents rot in nursing homes.

Ethiopian airline is not a representation of the country. I used the airline many times but went into the city (Addis ababa) for the first time in2019 and saw/experienced how backward it was . The poverty there is similar to what you’ll find in war thorn countries .

That's because you went to the ghetto. Addis is beautiful! The clubs, restaurants, hotels, villas it is nothing like a war torn country. There's poverty of course but there is money as well.

In this case there's only the two of them so it's understandable that they play together but bathing together is not ideal and that's the decision of the adults in the house.
