jeffmatt4u:I believe this what the person you quoted was talking about. One thing is to be opportunistic like you said, another thing is to have genuine feelings to towards the lady. The person you quoted was probably asking about the later. Good luck. |
mployer:What you typed does not in anyway invalidate what I said. I never said money is not important. I said there's financial freedom and there's freedom of movement. Both are important. So how does your comment affect or change that? |
There's financial freedom, and then there is freedom of movement. Both are very important. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. |
What makes this funny is that he's repeating what he said in 2015. |
You didn't exactly state what someone did. You just shared your interpretation of thier action. Tell us what they did, let's know if they're feeling better than you or you're just feeling inferior because they're really better than you. I'm not saying you're lying, but it is very common for the not-so-rich to interpret whatever a rich person does as arrogance or something like it. For all we know, these guys might just be going about their business living thier normal life, and you're here feeling targeted and grumbling. |
If you have a job offer, then you must know the salary already. Isn't that part of an offer? |
Nice... if they're happy, that's all that matters. |
I've seen the guy in an English movie. Didn't even know he was a Nigerian then. |
I believe she has something doing and she doesn't depend on him to survive. That's the only time you're respected as a lady. That's the only reason he's not arrogant about the whole thing. He knows she could easily leave the house for them and her kids would gladly follow her seeing how thier father has hurt thier mum. He could lose his family in a blink, and that's why he's humble. It's up to the lady to forgive or not to, but the fact is, no one deserves such treatment. I have nothing against polygamy, but marrying a lady with the promise of monogamy only to get married to another woman years after is like snatching her life from her. Can you imagining how it would hurt to ruin someone's 20 year career with a single action? This lady's family/home is more important to her than that career, yet he ruined it without looking back. Now she'll have to watch the life she planned for herself drift away just like that. Should we say "fear men"? |
I just read the first two and I see no offense the said people committed. She just identified them, but didn't say what they did. It's evident the lady is not mentally OK. A pity. |
If they are happy together, what's out business? Wishing them the best! |
She wanted the attention and we're all giving it to her in abundance. Insults or not, she got the views. A win is a win. |
KAjAsG:So because it will not stop people from being kidnapped, it is not worth implementing? National development should be paused until one issue is resolved? That's your own idea of an ideal government? You guys just want to criticize everything regardless of whether it is good or bad. You don't even care what it is, your own is to shout "nonsense!" SIN in Canada doesn't stop the high cost of living. SSN in the US doesn't stop school shooting. NIN in the UK doesn't stop theft. TIN in Australia doesn't stop the natural disasters there. But in your infinite wisdom, if the NIN in Nigeria does not stop people from being kidnapped, it is nonsense. Learn to separate concerns and discuss issues individually. Kidnapping is very bad, but it should not stop the country from pursuing development on multiple fronts. With NIN, wanted individuals can easily be cut off social services. It also tackles tax evasion, financial fraud, census challenges, pension planning challenges, debt/loan management challenges, insurance challenges etc. It ties all the subsystems together as a common primary key and makes data management easy. Even if all these benefits are not immediately realised, the implementation is the first step. So you can call out the government for not doing enough to stop the incessant kidnapping, but you must learn to live above not being able to separate concerns. |
Well, it was the worst for her and her family. And that makes sense. |
Y'all are living in your bubbles. Things have changed. Most couples now travel with the lady as the primary applicant. She'd be studying while the man is working. |
Well, Nigeria to Canada flight isn't that expensive. Many Nigerians have TR, PR or Citizenship status in Canada, so visa required. |
You can sell your video or praise the robots without calling yourself a cave person. The way you guys write your titles sometimes, I wonder the kind of... OK, let's not degenerate to insults, but you can do better. And please, next time, use the picture of the robot as your thumbnail image, not your face. Your face is already up there as the creator, you don't need to block the entire screen with your picture again. It is not a platform to advertise your beauty. People are interested in the robots you mentioned, not your smile. |
When started suspending accounts and suspending journalists, it became obvious he's go no regards for the free speech mantra he used to sell himself to the public. He's even outdoing his predecessors. |
Lol... this case has no precedence. I doubt they'll be any serious prosecution. According to the federal criminal code in the South, charter 21, section 214, there must be carnal knowledge (14 years). Section 215 says there must be an attempt to have carnal knowledge (7 years). Section 216 says there must be gross indecency/making out (3 years). In the penal code which applies to the North, section 284 says there must be an intercourse (14 years). Section 405 criminalizes cross dressing and male prostitution (one year, fine or both). This section also identifies incorrigible vagabonds aka serial offenders (2 years, fine or both). Gross indecency in the Sharia law applies to both genders and is defined in terms of public exposure of the body (and public kissing in Kano). This happened in Kano, one of the 12 states that have integrated Sharia law into their criminal statutes. Sharia law only applies to the Muslims in the group (or anyone who has consented to the jurisdiction of the Sharia court. According the Kano interpretation of the law, sodomy is defined in terms actual intercourse, and the penalty varies by marital status (100 lashes if single, death by stoning if married or previously married). Lesbianism is defined in terms of actual simulation of organs and the punishment is death by stoning. With all these in place, the group or members of the group could claim they were playing around and there might be no ground for persecution. No one was caught in the act and there's no proof any of them had an intercourse or attempted to. This isn't any different from the James Brown case, though a mild punishment might be applied here since it happened in the North. |
Seeing this from a different angle. UK snow is not that heavy when compared to a lot of other places. So this isn't about extreme cold but simply a clear indication that these are new Japarians seeing snow for the first time. This can be interpreted to mean that a huge number of Nigerians moved to the West this year. May God help Nigeria. |
This only proves Mbappé will be the next big thing to happen to the game of football. |
Everything Elon does, NL people will praise him. Meanwhile, he's doing exactly the same things he criticized not too long ago. |
gasparpisciotta:What's the point of putting that woman's picture up there? For people to see her and laugh? |
Cubalabloo:Lol... I'm not a fan of Atiku, but y'all should stop with this lameness. Even if his parents weren't Nigerians, it doesn't make him less Nigerian than anyone else. A Nigerian is anyone that has the Nigerian passport. Y'all are happy when your country people become citizens in other countries and take up leadership positions there, but back home, you're busy calling out someone that has been a Nigerian and active in Nigerian politics long before you were born. |
I did this as a kid! ![]() Fortunately or unfortunately, I still do it now, but in a mature way (I'd there's anything like that). Lol |
Sirseedorf:The journalists he suspended from the platform are not his employees. Elon said he came for freedom of speech, but it was only a mantra to have his way. Now, he's kicking people out. Dude needs to know there's a difference between business administration and public administration. He might be a good business man, but he's clearly making a mess of the Twitter platform. |
It's thier language. Maybe y'all should update the Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa dictionary too. ![]() |
Zee0007:Bro, you make it look like being arrogant implies being truthful. There are not even closely related. Arrogance is born out of the burning desire to be treated better than everyone around you because you've got something they don't have. You can be truthful without being arrogant. And there's nothing that makes an arrogant person better than a gentle person who knows when to let things slide. If we, as humans, don't learn to let things slide sometimes, we will be in constant fight. That's because people will naturally always do stuff that piss off others. I believe you're just being a fan that adores his star. Fact is, if the people around you were arrogant and they don't let your Bleep-ups slide, you'd be messed up real good. |
Not to burst your bubbles, but poultry birds naturally follow anyone that feeds them. |
Buddha3:Lol... you not knowing them is on you. Though poor, Guyana is a popular country in South America because it is the only English speaking country on the continent (it is different from French Guyana). |
