Nice as usual. But, out of curiosity, is there any reason your foods are almost always marshed?

I've tried not to ask for long but, I just have to today.

Thank you.
It isn't mashed though. The only food I eat that is mashed is potatoes. This is made as a porridge and adding cream cheese to it makes it creamier.

FamilyRe: How Much Should We Save For Our Children? by GboyegaD(m): 5:07pm On May 10, 2023
I am not sure any amount is good or bad however, we should invest in them so that they can stand by themselves and run their race with or without us. If possible, contribute a large downpayment in their 1st mortgage and ensure they do not have student loan debts upon college graduation.

FamilyRe: My Husband Doesn't Want Us To Get A House Help by GboyegaD(m): 2:30pm On May 10, 2023
Perhaps he's scared of external influence around his kids. Talk to him about a nanny and if he rejects the idea, plan how you manage chores and only do the necessary ones. Whenever he's around, make sure he participates in the house chores.

This is greed and laziness at work. He should ask the older generation that were into fraud how they ended their lives.

Dinner:

Catfish Tomato Basil soup with fresh bread made from 1/2 wheat flour, 1/2 all purpose flour.

Couldn't wait for the dough to rise the second time before baking. The hunger was too much to wait any further.

I always tell my kids, always remember we started from the roadside, that's why I love including them in every activity I engaged in...I have countless pics of my 7 years old girl running and handling hustleville, you go trip if I show you pictures.for TikTok nko,you go laff taya for her videos manning mummy's hustle.
Forget I delved into other side hustles...but hustleville shot me up.i love the fact that, you never forgot your humble beginnings.

Like I said before....Gboskii tiri fingers for you.
How dare we all forget? Something that became family business and saw us all through from Primary to Higher Institutions? We all be graduate because say the business dey ooo. Some even go private school all through (Primary through University) na because of the hustle. The days of waking up early to cook and then transport to go sell; the days of supply if there's not much sales upfront; the days of selling in the rain, holding an umbrella over a customer's head so that they can eat; the days of running from Task Force officials who wants to throw away your food etc.

One of the things I tell people I learned is that life can happen to anyone. My dad was a graduate back in the days and unfortunately, SAP made him lose his regional manager position. The next job he got was a good one (profile wise), but the pay wasn't great and my mom had quit her banking job to focus on us. Good thing is irrespective of the hustles, we were not left behind. My mom was in PTA committee in my sisters' secondary school, my dad wouldn't miss my brothers' PTA. Guess I was the only one who did not get too much of attention unlike others perhaps, because of the middle child syndrome and my grandpa died after I was born so my dad felt I killed him because my brother enjoyed the privileges of Babatunde beyond necessary.

Are these people not the ones who do their children wedding ceremonies for days and use exorbitant locations and decorations? Nigeria is worse than "Animal Farm" story by George Orwell.

I ve seen where you got your culinary skills from...Gboskii lala tiri fingaz Ina da air for you man.
Wetin we go do na? It was a case of life throwing us lemons and we had to make lemonade out of them. Now, we all can look back and thank God for that phase. It was tough but it made us who we are today.

Sincerely, when I visit and I see children of those who sell by the roadside playing or living some I don't care life, I wish I could call them to encourage them. One can attain whatever height one sets his/her mind on.

FamilyRe: Relocation To Ile-ife by GboyegaD(m): 10:41pm On May 08, 2023
I would rather say anywhere around Ile Oromu or between General and Opa should be fine for someone who has a family. They have good electricity in these places mentioned. One challenge with Ife though is career development since there are not so many white-collar jobs in Ife and job migration might be very difficult if not impossible.

What will you do if you are in my position and feeling deeply hurt.

Some men have bitter experiences both in relationship and some in marriages.
Reading this gave me goose pimples. I can't say this is what I would do if I were in his shoes as I pray and hope never to find myself in such a position. But if it happens, I would think it is because I slacked because if you know every penny I earn, I expect that level of openness from my wife. I wish he can forgive if he can and I hope this will open up deeper level of communication between them.

How do you focus on your self to strength the texture of the love as pebbles on the sea?

I have a date with my crush next tomorrow(Tuesday), I don't want to make this mistake...
I want a definite dialogue with an impeccable result.
Thanks
Talk about you both and don't take it beyond that. Focus on things you love that makes you comfortable in conversation. Find out what triggers her and wants her to talk more.
