BiggyB242: And murder doesn't right? If you dig deep she was probably molested, the prof touched her inappropriately; same girl when one boy they upside down for him room Murder and rape are two different crimes...and both are serious and grave and should be treated accordingly. She might be upside down, inside out or tumble over with another guy but at least she consents to it. It doesn't give someone the right to rape her. |

MLTR: 30B question yet to be answer for ages is .... why is it majorly celeb ladies that leave there marriages, all women are suffering in marriage yet men are the ones diein ... does suffering makes one live longer. It's not only celebs. We only hear of them because they are in the news. We see some here on Nairaland who are not celebs. If you look around your neigbourhood, you will definitely see some. Even a former neighbour left her husband after years of abuse. The last I heard was that she was still trying to get her children from her husband who seized them and kept them in an unknown location. Celebs are just the scapegoats that society criticizes because their lives are on display. |

BiggyB242: I know rape is a bad thing, but the way these women classify rape is like is the greatest sin of all even higher than murder. Don't pray for your sister or close friend to get raped before you understand how rape can affect a lady. The images of the incident get printed in their brains and could torture them for life. |

IamD18: I honestly do not believe she was assaulted, because I see no reason why you'll keep such to yourself for 32 years.
If she was truly aasaulted and she hid it to herself, then she's a rape apologist for indirectly covering a rapist, thereby enabling him to do more. She didn't say it in public doesn't mean she didn't tell those close to her. We don't know if it's true or false, why should we conclude that it's a lie? |

pocohantas: Looking at her, you will know something has been wrong. She went from a beautiful woman to an unkempt being. One sign of a broken woman is she stops to care about her looks. If you are a woman, you will know this. When we are overwhelmed, we become nonchalant to our looks. She did a big chop (another sign), started breaking out, changed her dress code (obviously ready for crusade and church programs)...
The signs were there and I am sure this must be tough for her, considering she was a supposed role model. If one party is looking drained in a marriage, if one party thinks marriage/relationship is a walk in the park- it is because the other party is doing ALL or NONE of the work. I think the problems started long ago but she was trying to patch it up and keep up appearances because of what people like the person I quoted would say. Women are expected to endure a bad man just so they won't be tagged as one who cannot stay married. I have seen terrible marriages even someone very close to me. The babe is still there because she doesn't want to be labelled. But the man is so unreasonable that her family, friends and even the husband's friends have told her to leave. But someone will just stand from outside and judge a woman for leaving a marriage. |

Really alot of Nigerian girls lack tolerance to be honest. Marriage has never been a bed of roses and will never be. Congratulations cha cha you have successfully registered to nollywood single mothers association. You're now free to do anything you want. Soon you'll start snapping nude independent day pictures like mercy toyin lawani and buying range rovers and houses all over lekki like Toke makinwa. It is better not to judge these "Nigerian girls". If you knew someone going through hell in their marriage, you would have a different view. It is easy to judge from afar |

dingbang: Seriously, mothers need to be sensitized and cautioned on the way they send their underaged female children on errands.
To those quoting me without reasoning
the thing with some people who can't reason is this , y'all should know that evil is bound to happen, but then again, what we can do to protect our own in such situations is to be very vigilant of threats and risks resident in our vicinities by trying to prevent further occurrence.
Everyday we get to hear rape stories day after day, nobody is taking caution, all we do is wail wail wail, the government is not doing anything. Do we just sit and watch these agents of Satan continue to take advantage of these children?
What parents need to come up with are preventive measures to frustrate these vices.
Well, I'll stop here. It's no need convincing people who can't reason. What sensitisation? The mother sent her on an errand in the neigbourhood by 3pm...broad day light. Neighbours that rape little girls instead of protecting them are the ones who need sensitisation. |

czarr: If a woman asks you "What are you looking for in a woman"?
just reply that when you see what you are looking for you'll know, never tell what behaviour or character attracts you to a woman, because you'll just set yourself up, because if a badly behaved woman likes you enough she can pretend to be something that she is not just because you let her know what attracts you.
And sometimes she'll only break character after you guys are married. so she didn't change after marriage she just stopped acting.
You have to understand that at a certain age a woman is already set in her ways by behaviour and character, so don't tell her what you want just watch her act naturally.
what do you think? It is not gender specific. At least I know a friend who told her boyfriend then that she liked men who take care and love their mothers; that it shows that they will know how to take care of their wives. Next thing, the guy went to do a photoshoot with him and his mum. Very convincing pictures. They eventually got married. I don't need to tell you what hell she is going through in the marriage. |

light099: The thread seemed perfect until I saw 'Africa's biggest Artist, Davido'. Op is obviously pulling off an expensive joke up there and only teasing the Frogged voice. Froggy never claimed himself to be versatile singer. He's only an artiste in the minds of wacks. Is it composition, lyrical message, singing voice or singing ability? He has non of these, the reason why he sees himself more as a clout chaser than a musician. 'Lonely' by Akon beats all the albums of Froggy and those Chinagorom Onuoha (Africa China) old school songs are way ahead of his unreleased future albums. Get the record straight, these are some of the greatest artistes in Nigeria - Tuface, Psquare, Lagbaja, Nosa and many others. Especially you'd notice some of these artistes are multi-talented. Psquare can dance and sing, Lagbaja is a skillful singer and also a good saxophonist. It's only in a clueless indomie generation filled with confused wack kids, you see people pick a talentless frog over multi-talented individuals. This generation of Nigerian indomie generation are so wack and confused, and are highly susceptible to mental manipulations. They don't know what good, quality premium stuffs look like. That is why it's easy to force any wack down their throats. Musically, Oritsefemi is a better singer than Froggy.
This is sad for Nigeria at 60; the old men are clueless, the younger generation is even more clueless, wack and confused. Advanced countries are not filled with some clueless people who just got lucky. These are highly sophisticated minds who keep getting their shiit right, over and over. Y'all can't continue to think like unsophisticated wacks, while you continue to expect your country to look like America. Some things are never achieved by luck or accident. The argument, philosophy and mentality of a typical kid on a forum like this, could make Aristotle writhe in his grave. Too many wacks in the land. More sadly, as clueless as everyone is, you see that people are still arrogant in ignorance. Never teachable, never taking to corrections, never ready to learn the right thing, just a set of arrogant, ignorant wacks who want their country look like America overnight. Corruption is just a part of the problem, cluelessness is another epidemic, eating up this great nation. A lot of things call for concern. Happy 60th independence day. Why do.you sound so pained? The OP exaggerated but why this long epistle. You are.living in the past; mentioning African China, etc. Move with change before you are left behind. |

Why did this baby mama wait till he won 35mil before saying something. Why didn't she search him out on social media to let him know he's a father, when BB Naija started and he was trending, why didn't she chat his handler's up with receipt?
There's almost no man in his age bracket who is not obsessed about sex. I just think it's funny how she's just coming out.

This is why employers especially one man business owners always expect employees to bow down and worship after receiving their hard earned salary sometimes even after delayed payment.
Worse is when others are thanking and you don't, you will become an enemy to the boss. The mindset is different when we work with a structured organisation. It is then we will know that some of these things that happen in one man business is not acceptable practice. But she is of the opinion that her money belongs to her and she might decide to help out or not. I am of the opinion that as a couple we have to work things out together. I dont expect her to pay any bill for me but to help out as a help mate. She flatly refused that her money is her money and she might decide to help or not. And that I should not have it in mind that she might help me. That the role of the man as the head of the house is to take care of everything. I dont know if my perception is wrong here. I need experienced married folks to advice me. That is a red flag. Abort mission. Your perception is not wrong. She should love you with her money. It doesn't mean that she collects her money and hands it over to you but she readily contributes when necessary to make life easier for you because she loves you. Some women are stingy with their money. Their love stops where their money begins. |
