This lady is OK financial and educationally and marrying her you can't control anything about her. Beside she woñt have the moral an average Nigeria girls .

Mariangeles: I don't think that is even possible. A mother will always be emotionally tied to her child. The best that is expected of her is not to be too selfish, other than that will be asking for too much of her. You don't expect a mother to just emotionally detach from her child simply because he or she got married do you? To a mother, her child will always be her child. If she's not dependent on her children for emotional support when she gets old, then who is she going to depend on? Infact, the older they get, the more emotionally attached to their children they are. What then is her gain in giving birth to her child/children only to have to "give them up" emotionally when they get older? The ones who built their whole lives around their children will refuse to detach themselves and give them space to live their own lives. But the ones who had other interests aside the children tend to give them space when the time comes because they have their lives outside their children. For some women, once children start coming in, they direct all their focus on them, even the husband remains at the background. When the children start leaving home and getting married, there's hardly a strong bond with their husbands and they keep packing their loads to go and stay with their children and cause trouble in the process. |

When your uncle was going to go ahead and marry her, she wasn't a cheap prostitute right? But when it comes to you, she's cheap.
Please your uncle doesn't own your life. You should make him understand that you will go ahead with it. Let him tell the family why he is against it.
You don't need to be scared that he will strip you of the business management since you say he is impressed by the job you are doing. It is not always easy to find someone who will handle one's business well while they are away.
Do what works for you and don't let your Uncle dictate your life. As for your girlfriend, be sure that life is behind her before you go ahead. Some of these girls never really cut off from those ways. |

I just pity their kids not the two fools. It's taking a huge toll on them. Always looking dirty n wandering from one street to the other. True. When elephants fight, it is the ground that suffers. Our choices, good or bad affects the children more. It's so sad that the children have to go through all this. I pray he has sense from now and takes decisions that will benefit them. |

Aguogba: most times when a man (husband) is placed inside bottle, the first manifestation is that he will start to perceive his mother as his wife's enemy. Then, he will move to the next stage, which is "I can only eat my wife's food". Next thing, one of their agents will reveal to the man that his mother is a witch and that was why his wife had one baby instead of triplet. The Oga patapata of them all is that his response to all his Bleep up will be "I know what I'm doing". Lol...funny. What of a case where the guy already knew his mum was a witch before getting married? A close family to my family is in that wahala. Her husband's mum is a witch and the guy knew. The crazy part is that her mum is one also and their whole family knows but cannot confront her. I wonder what they benefit from witchcraft. |

salt1: How can you say this? Op, every mother wants the best for her child. Mothers can intuitively sense who/ what is not good for their child. Maybe, your Mom has seen your wife as pretty but empty-headed.
Don't fight your Mom because of your wife. You will regret it later and hate your wife for causing the rift. Keep showing both love.
With time, you may see the reason for her resentment. You will need all the wisdom to manage the truth. I'm married and I insisted that Mama endorses the marriage. Mothers can intuitively sense things but some mothers do things for their own selfish reasons or out of ignorance. And you should know that they don't know it all. Your wive is a mother or potential mother...does she know it all? My MIL did not hate me but she was not totally in support of us. But the good thing is that my husband doesn't pretend that he doesn't know his mum's flaws and that has helped. He tells her when she is wrong. And he is careful of what he tells her to avoid issues and interference. |

LadySarah: Lol. The same question I asked. He wants someone he's comfortable with. The wives sister has been the one staying with them but sadly she wedded last month. The man married an Orphaned Olosho he met in a brothel. She has gone back. Everybody has gone to beg her to at least come n be checking on them she said no. 4 streets awayoo
. He leaves for work as early as 5am so He drops money with The elderly woman next door who has been cooking for them and according to her warned him not to marry yet for fear of maltreat ING those kids.
The man has shrunk by force. Coming home at night to do laundry and cook their night meal.
Women dey try. The choices we make comes back to bite us. I wonder what his motive was for marrying her. Seems he was a regular at brothels and decided to wife one to continue the enjoyment. It's except she showed prospects of quitting and starting a new life, if not, he shouldn't have gone ahead to marry her. But the deed has already been done. I think it is a very bad idea to send 4 kids to someone who already has 5. If he has the finances, he can get a nanny to help out with them when he goes to work. And she can help with the laundry and all to reduce the load for him. |
Crime › Re: How Thieves Entered My Room And Carted Away A Lot Of Items Using Voodoo Or Charm by ImaIma1(f): 7:11pm On Sep 10, 2020 |
Penflame: Early this month, unknown thief/thieves entered my room through the window late in the night and stole phones, device and laptop totally worth 132,000 naira.
My greatest surprise was I didn't or was unable to wake up throughout their operation until day break, and I'm someone that easily wake up from sleep at hearing slight sound or noticing slight movement.
Is it that there's a charm they do use for this kind of operation? If yes, how can it been neutralized to prevent such occurrence next time?
In what way can I apprehend this thieves? I've been unable to track the items.
Someone should please give me advice and suggestion.
Help move to front Page biko. I can relate. Many months back in my compound, I don't know how it was discovered that our door could be kicked open. It's a seemingly private compound (unknown people are hardly allowed to walk around) with just 4 flats. Unfortunately, we don't have burglary proofs, etc. So one night, my next door neighbour banged on our door around 2am to tell us he was just robbed while he and his fiancee were asleep. The thief or thieves broke down the main door and stole some pricey items and also broke his room door where they were sleeping and took their phones. They didn't wake up till they left even if he said his fiancee is a very light sleeper. Like the next week, it was our turn. I heard a loud sound and I jumped up and told my husband. He ran to the sitting room but the person bailed. He took our remote in a haste thinking it was a phone. The third time they came, they went to that same neighbour's flat, took the keys to one of his bikes( he runs a delivery service) and were rolling the bike away. I had heard a loud sound when the door was broken into and woke my husband. My husband just went to stand by the window and saw them rolling the bike away. He raised alarm and they left it and fled. I don't understand why we could hear it but my neighbour couldn't. Anyway, they changed our doors to metal doors and did barb wire around the fence immediately before anyone could sleep peacefully again in that house. |

RonaldoVido: So you don't believe the story ?
There are cases worse than what he said there.. Not that I don't believe it. But no one can hate another person just because they exist. There has to be something that triggers the hate. Hate is too strong an emotion to feel for someone for no reason. |

4tomandchi: A man has a role to play in the molding of his family and in every good marriage counseling you are always adviced to keep your marital issues away from external interference. So if you find out that your mother's involvement in your family is creating problem please solve it by mediating and bringing peace. Some parents can be very controlling I made that mistake in the early years of my marriage but as soon as I noticed it I reduced my parents involvement in our marriage and we have been living peaceful ever since. One thing you should know is that you can't marry your mother and you owe your wife and kids the responsibility to provide and enabling environment for their development and well being. Very true. The man has to be a mediator between his family and his wife and also make sure he sets healthy boundaries. Women tend to be too attached to their sons; babying them even till they are full grown men. The men allow it until it becomes a problem when they get married and the mother still wants to remain as attached. It inevitably causee problems. |

I expect her to call me via normal phone call before I unblock her but she is yet to call. If I unblock her just like that it will repeat next time. What if she never calls? Because sometimes, both parties could choose to be stubborn and it could go on for weeks. If she has the attitude of writing stinkers and being disrespectful, you should report her to her family so that they can caution her. I am sure both of you will settle this issue as long as you still feel love for each other and are still committed to the marriage. All the best |

I rushed out to help, only to discover that the bush rat was stocked in the pile of blocks in the compound. We were able to apprehend it after carrying so many blocks. In order to regain lost energy, it was used for Pepper soup When a rat has grown so big and it runs into the bush, it automatically becomes bush rat. Please be careful of what you eat. |
