Mr Tinubu wants to be President because it is his turn. Afterall, na turn by turn tins abi. nzeobi: |
Have you bothered to ask yourself why this pipeline or do you want to be mischievous? obailala: |
This country is finished. There are thermal power stations all located in the South of Nigeria that require Gas to produce electricity. Rather than invest this kind of money in building a gas infrastructure for present and future thermal power plants, the federal government led by the Fulani elite prefers to spend money on an unnecessary project similar to the kaduna refinery. I say again, this country is finished. |
Those roads look like the type Rochas built in Owerri, the type that acid rain can come and wash away. |
Ma neega, WTF are you talking about? AJ was born in the UK and owes everything he is today to that country, why the fcccuk are you trying to turn this around on its head and use it to pilfer funds. Oh wait, I almost forgot, na naija we dey, it's all good! |
The whole essence of this panel is to exonerate Sanwo-olu and Tinubu in the eyes of the public. The Army already said that the Governor invited them. I believe the Governor did invite them and I believe he must have gotten approval from his overlord. |
I hope it will not be sold to the Nigerian public. My guess is that it will. |
The main issue I have with most Amala joints are that they use the "white maggi" flavouring for their cooking. It is a known fact that this type of seasoning is quite bad for health, so many deadly diseases have been linked to its consumption. |
The only people I see regrouping are politicians and it is for their selfish aim. Tinubu, if given the chance, will rule Nigeria with a highhand like he does Lagos. If you consider Lagos to be a monumental success, then congrats. If you consider Lagos to an abysmal failure, then stand against the likes of Tinubu who are comfortable entrenching Nigerians in poverty. Posterity always remembers. Philipponzaghi: |

I agree, badluck is the cause. They know we are this daft which is why they will issue such a daft comment. |
....until they get the next paycheck. what do you expect them to do, turn to farmers? This is what they do for a living. |
You guys are focused on the borrowing aspect yet what worries me even more is that some within the Qatari government are known for supporting a particular religious fundamentalism. Let me point out the obvious to it is clear to all reading, a particular ethnic tribe within Nigeria dominates the Nigerian Military. This particular tribe also coincidentally dominates all aspects of the Federal Government and its agencies. Some persons within this same tribe are also known to be in support of very radical form of religious extremism and also want to takeover Nigeria by populating it. I hate to sound like an ethnic champion but the truth is the truth, if we become dependent on Qatar for military aid, then I think it is high time I started packing my bags and leaving the shores of Nigeria. It is clear that the Qataris will not dictate the use of our military, and it will surely be in furtherance of their aim. Qataris have never hidden the fact that they are an islamic nation. |
But some Nigerians don't want to hear this. Perhaps Bill Barr is also a part of the deep state and connected somehow to some cover-up plot to steal Trump's election. Waiting to hear what happens. |
Bros, if you are interested in the truth, always try to make a distinction between the average person and the ruling elite of any particular region in Nigeria. The Nigeria of today is a creation of many years of compounded failure foisted upon us by the ruling elite from ALL regions of Nigeria. You sound like the South West voted en masse for Buhari. Were you not in this country when elections were massively rigged in 2019 especially in South western states. Even in states where Buhari polled favourably, it was a close tie not like in the North where it was a landslide. Buhari is only a symptom of the real malaise that Nigeria suffers from. And if I were to play doctor of the day, today, I will suggest as I always have that splitting Nigeria remains the only real solution to getting us all on a better path. Anything short of this such as this blame game persons like you engage in for cheap online fame, will not solve anything Racoon: |
Misleading headline. |
The 43 farmers did not have clearance to farm but BH had clearance to kill them. It must be the fault of these 43 farmers. They died as a result of lack of clearance. Such is the stupid and daft mindset of the present administration. |
Yorubas will answer to the call for self-determination but I am sorry to announce they will not follow the likes of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. If that is his plan, that too will be Dead on Arrival (DOA). Openbusiness: |
Interesting write-up with a touch of humour. I have always maintained Tinubu's quest for Presidency 2023 is DOA (Dead on Arrival). If you know your history, you will know where you are coming from and be poised not to repeat same mistakes. For all of his political savviness, Mr Tinubu and those around him are clearly not students of history, especially Nigerian history. I am certain he has a few tricks up his sleeves but with the power that the Presidency wields, not having such powers behind you and not being a particularly popular candidate simply means his candidature for the presidential election in 2023 is DOA. The Yoruba ruling elite have still not learned from mistakes made in the past. The Fulanis will only back one of theirs and if in the event that cannot happen, someone they know they can control. History just has a funny way of repeating itself. And whilst the elephants fight, the grass suffers. It is just like Game of Thrones but in 3D. Restructuring or Splitting Nigeria remains the only way out of this mess. |
Yours especially. helinues: |
Smh We have a long way to go in sub-saharan africa, a really really long way to go. At this rate, it will take atleast 100 years to achieve this level of organisation and planning I see in Namibia and Botswana. And this 100 year guess is assuming we start NOW! |
The part that baffles me the most is how thoroughly stupid the average Trump supporter is. Till date, I am yet to meet a Trump supporter who after I had a conversation with, I felt didn't need a brain examination. People who actively support Trump are exactly like Trump, there's no question about that. House of Representatives, Senate and Presidential votes were all cast on the same ballot paper. So Trump and his moronic followers a.k.a zombies accept the results of the House and Senate because the Republican party gained seats in the house and are likely to retain their majority in the Senate but reject the Presidential outcome because it is not in their favour. They claim it was rigged. The top election official in Georgia is Republican, the Governor is Republican. Same with Arizona, yet the elections were rigged in favour of a Democrat, they all work for the same satanic master. You cannot make this stuff up. You have to be a special type of slow and stupid to really believe in this sort of thing. |
When I saw Oba of Lagos Rilwan Akiolu's statement, I just bursted into uncontrollable laughter "hahahahahahahahaha". I guess the dollars found in that coffin in his royal majesty's palace was either planted there by the youths who stormed and tore down the place or it was spirits that conjured the dollars into the coffin. The money is not the same money from politicians, it must have been his gratuity from when he was on the Nigeria Police Force. Obas wey dey get slots for ghost workers per state. Obas wey dey get overbloated contracts that they mostly do not fulfil. Obas wey dey partisan, wey dey use their royal seat to swing elections in favour of their preferred candidate. Obas wey be desperate hustlers, they can even out-hustle the lagos traffic hawker. All of this is just lip service by these monarchs in a bid to make it seem like they are independent and on the side of the people, we are not fooled one bit. |
A century is too small, more like a millennium. grim33: |
Kindly follow back, I'd like to slide into your DM. IdreamOfUnicorn: |
Sup, can I holla? IdreamOfUnicorn: |
Well, the democrats have control of the house (atleast for the next 2 years) and are just 3 seats shy of controlling the Senate so I don't see how this prophecy will come to pass. Also, I believe Biden has stated informally he would only run for 1 term, I really don't see how he is president for 8 years. It would be like the american version of Buhari. Being American president is work and the man is quite visibly old. If the Democrats plan will be to field Harris in 2024, I think it will fail. She is not quite liked (not even by Hillary standards) and she simply does not appeal to most people in the democratic base as evidenced by her performance in the primaries. The democrats are yet to learn their lesson (forget this just concluded election) and this is why I feel the Republicans have a good shot at taking back the White House in 2024. They only need to field a good moderate candidate that speaks well and can deliver the goods, not a Trumpian figure that will chase away the independents and moderates who vote Red. |
Ofcourse it is a gang-up and the election was rigged. The same nut that is loose inside Trump's head is most likely loose in yours. I guess you have not been paying attention to the fact that everyone wants to drop your man like a hot potato because he is an acidic character. He has had to change cabinets how many times already, because he fell out with almost all of his secretaries. His mouth and his behaviour are what got him to where he is right now. I bet you if he was just a decent human being, regardless of Covid, that extra 3 million or so Americans that voted Biden would have voted for him and he would be carrying the lead right now. Good behaviour and character can take one far in life, that is the key lesson to be learnt in Trump's case. madridguy: |
15 years for attempted rape alleged by a stripper. For someone who had no prior. AmeriKKKa!!! And they wonder why blacks keep screaming racism. Bet if he was white, he would have gotten a suspended sentence or he would have gotten away clean. This is just one of the numerous instances by the American criminal justice system to put the average black man under. I hope he can pick up the pieces of what is left of his life. Really sad but he is not the first, nor will he be the last. |
