dovelike:I don't you can transfer money out of your Nigeria account to a foreign account, unless you are a bid time merchant or business man. I hate to recommend this, but it appear that, given the current situation in Nigeria, electronic currency might be a way around it. Open a foreign account as instructed, goto wwww.perfectmoney.is or other situ table electronic currency exchanges (also make sure that exchange is not restricted in your country) and open an account, from perfect money site, you can see a list of brokers they deal with in each country they are not restricted in...pick any from 9ja, contact them and do your due diligence, some will accept a transfer from your 9ja account to them or you can visit their office, they will then fund your perfect money account, you can then do a wire from perfect money to your foreign bank account. Perfect money also now have prepaid cards with which to fund your account. |
Finn081:Maybe it is for a dry test run, if the calculator can't accurately answer 2+2, there is no point entrusting more complex computations to it. |
adeaks:Though the act of burying the charm is not a crime, but it is a crime to deceive the public that he is a pastor, when he is not. He can also be charged for stealing under false pretenses on account of all the tithes and offerings he has been collecting. |
without been insensitive, this takes..."go hug pole" to a new level. |
jcflex:You should read up on international economy and how currencies work before commenting on complicated topics like this that are obviously above your pay grade. The effect on the airlines are the unintended consequences of the CBN policies. These were not the targets of these policies. For your information, naira is of little or no value to these airlines if they were to take it to their country as you suggested. They need to change them to foreign currencies in other to pump these same funds into their airline operation back at home to continue the operation. Look at it from the angle of an trader, if a particular customer continues to pay you with a currency that have little and decreasing buying power, you have the right to refuse to sell to that customer or reduce your sales to that customer and and the customer can take his or her business elsewhere...this is exactly what the airlines say, they are going to do...i.e. reduce flights to Nigeria and divert then elsewhere for better use. You might say...good! Then the 'customer', which in this case is Nigeria can take his business elsewhere, the problem is, the CBN clip down is on all foreign curriences, which means other countries will not be willing to do business with Nigeria or they will adopt reciprocating policies against Nigeria, in this scenario Nigeria would have set itself against the whole world. Central bank policies should be the last option to boost countries economy...other countries like the USA, China, Germany, etc that does it having huge goodwill and mighty underlying productive economy to back it...Nigeria does not, if a few other countries adopt reciprocating policies against the Naira, the currency will continue in it's free fall, which will lead to hype-inflation and the economy will collapse underneath. |
braine:This one pass tall, to convene it in a way for someone from my place to understand what we are saying, we say 'The man LONG' |
orezimena28:OP, this is the reason you should not come to the internet for advise...Firstly, you should never hit a woman period, end of story! Secondly, because someone hit their wife and it 'format' her brain does not mean it is going to work in all and every case...more so, you have indicated that, your wife pulled a knife on you, she knock you unconscious with her shoes and you woke up in the pool of your own blood, she locked you in the house in an attempt to prevent you from going to work, plus she chase your car with pants and bra and knock out your mirror all because she was short $5k..and you also said, she use to be a gf of the capon of a campus cult....my point? Your wife is hardcore, if you dare hit or beat her, you will win the battle by escalating it and will lose the war eventually...next time, when opportunity presents itself and you are unsuspecting, she will take her own bound of your flesh and this time around, there is a high degree that, you may not wake from that unconsciousness because, she will try to do what will top what she has done before, since you did what topped your previous action. You are toying with your life, leave this lady already. I am very sorry to say, she is a bad omen; and now that you still have your legs intact, run in the opposite direction and as far as your legs can carry you, for a day is coming that you will want to run, but it might be too late. |
O boy, I no know if na dull you dull abi she don use juju cover your brain....you dey inside fire wey dey burn wan consume you and you dey blog dey ask for advise? My guy you fall my hand. From the look of things, it appears you do not value your existence, but for the seek of that your little kid and your parents, run for your dear life and take that little kid from her. |
Marry her, she is a keeper. |
saxywale:That may or may not be and it could be faster than that for America depending on how things played out. Americans are in love with their high utility gas guzzling vehicles and there appear to be surplus oil to go around and they are making tons of money on oil right now. But if oil ceases to flow, America can adopt the eco friendly technologies over night. Plus, have you seen an electric car drive pass before? It is a sorry sorry sight to behold, imagine someone driving a muzzle car whose presence can be announced 100s of feets away, now driving an almost soundless car that you will barely notice sound-wise when it passes. Even driverless cars are being debut in America now, at least in California, where the traffic laws are been amended to accommodate these cars. |
For your mom to have felt/feeling that way, there are a lot of things you are not telling us. In any case, if things don't work our now as per you guys relations; don't worry too much, if and when you start making your billions, you will definitely be able to mend fences and be mama's beloved again. Believe me, even for the crowd of 'money does not buy love' on naira...the bible cannot be contracted and the bible says...'money answereth all things'...Eccl. 10:19. |
FolarinLondon:They also keep the caller engaged on the phone in the US as well, it is the standard practice and is what should be done, but they are not delaying the response. Based on your GPS coordinates, the first responder already know your general location that, help will start coming that way immediately. The reason they keep you engaged on the phone is to get as much information as they can, they also rely the info you are giving them to the first responders who are on their way, this will better equip the first responders to access the situation on arrival and be better prepared to take action or adjust action plans...Plus you the caller appear to be a witness p, so those moments they stay with on the phone, they are also gathering enough information that will help the investigation down the road and since the incident is fresher in your brain, it is the best time to document them. |
zaragal:How is getting married at 37 a rush? Life happens, no one should be scared of marriage because of divorce...there is nothing like Mr. or Mrs. right, it takes two to make any marriage work and it is not a goal or destination; it is work, constant daily work and efforts. |
Doesn't it still hold true that..."birds of the same feathers flock together?"..like a friend in high school use to say it... "ornithological specimens of identical plumage invariably conglomerate to the nearest proximity" My people rendered it better...."Coat get size, look for your own size". |
INDUSTRIALFAN:Not all mad people strip, also their sense of right/wrong is messed up and they act in direct obedience to their brain activities just like us, the only difference is, our sense of right/wrong is still intact. They truly believe they are normal and you and myself steering at them at the abnormal ones. |
Beremx:The difference between you and her is just God. The brain controls our sense of right and wrong, and we are all one phychological traumar or event away from getting those chemicals to start miss firing and hell will break loose as our sense of rights and wrong will turn upside down. Next time, if you remember to put on your clothes before leaving the house, don't be cocky, thank God for keeping your brain functions in one piece. Definitely, she is not doing all that willfully or conscientiously, the news must have led to some subconscious events beyond her control...it can happen to the best of us. |
ideylaff:These links are directly from the source, like they say from the 'horse mouth' aka from First Bank, UBA, Stanbic Bank, GTB, etc; are you saying these Banks can be parading what they no longer offer online? It is understandable when one bank fails to take down such products from their websites, but all of them can not just forget to take it down at the same time. If you say, their are some restrictions in obtaining a dom account, I will agreed, but a total ban? Haba, Nigeria never bad like that na....I know there was a time the Banks were complaining of been flooded with foreign currencies in dom accounts, because according to the Banks..'their faults were full": http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/08/cbn-domiciliary-account-and-the-economy/ ..and as such they implemented some restrictions...in any case..it appear those same faults no longer have foreign currencies and they have gone in the opposite direction in terms of policies/restrictions... That is 9ja for you, but I love that country die, it is the only place on earth where my body, soul, spirit and mind are in unison. |
TheSixthSense:hmmm, are you such about that? I have friends that have and operates dom accounts in Nigeria...and when I google 'opening dom account in Nigeria' I got lots of hits...see some: https://www.firstbanknigeria.com/products/personal-banking/domiciliary-accounts/domiciliary-account/ https://www.ubagroup.com/countries/ng/personalbanking/domaccounts/dom http://www.naijaonlinebiz.com/how-to-open-a-domiciliary-account-with-gtbank-firstbank-zenith-bank/ http://www.stanbicibtcbank.com/Nigeria/Individual/Saving-and-investing/Domiciliary-Account ...and there are more. |
It appear the answer is to open a dom account in Nigeria, base on my understanding from what I have read so far, this policy only affects naira accounts. Yes, buying dollars on the streets to fund your dom account can be expensive, but what is the use of that money, when you can't spend it. Another method is to look for 9ja abroad who operate accounts in Nigeria and strike a deal with them, do Internet transfer into their 9ja account and they can pay you cash abroad in hard currency or make a reciprocal transfer into your foreign accounts. I have done this for countless friends, it is a win-win, but again be ready to make the transaction at the prevailing market rate. Many 9jas abroad having one or two on going projects in 9ja or the constant need to pay someone in 9ja and as such can be open to such one way transactions i.e. Money going into their 9ja naira account without needing back abroad. |
MRBrownJ:Since obtains these "goods" in exchange for money is a crime aka prostitution, that agreement is illegal and can't be enforced under the color of the law, even if the other guy break his end of the bargain. That is why you don't see drug dealers going to courts to enforce debt collection, because they will get nothing and will only implicate themselves in an unlawful act, hence they always resort to streets justice or gang enforcers to collect on the debt. |
When your uncle was literally catching fishes and giving you to aid your existence inside and outside school, you did not complain. When others close to you did not come to your aid, he came along...now out of the magnanimous of his heart, he wants to teach you how to catch that fish, and you are complaining? Christian or not, if you do not see anything morally wrong with accepting financial help from him knowing fully well that, some of their sources might be questionable and might be traced to him been a member of AMORC, I do not see any reason for you objecting to follow him to that same place, where he might have been sourcing your sustenance from, for years now. |
AdaNri1:Gee! must it affect Nigeria/Nigerians positively for it to be worthwhile? Have some empathy and rejoice with them...no wonders almost the whole world, does not care a sh!t about what happens in Nigeria/to Nigerians, because they are full of people like you, who does not care unless they have a stake in it. So, lets start that change at home, begin to care about others and have some empathy, and maybe karma will repay that gesture back and improve your own neck of the woods. |
Oh boy! I didn't believe that a Nigeria Army officer will be that patient and even start begging these guys to use the road. This is prime example of 'my people perish because of lack of knowledge'. Otherwise, how can any Nigerian block the passage of a whole COAS? Secondly, why are they bringing sticks and merchets to a gun fight? I think the Army exercised restraine here, yes I know the number of people that got killed, but the truth is they saw it coming. |
crispgg:The article indicates that marrying them is optional, i.e. If that does not happen, they should remain single forever. It also appears that, the oloris have a choice not to marry the new king and remain single if they so chooses, even if the king wants to.. But, a casual interpretation of your rendition of the tradition supposes that, this marriage is compulsory and automatic...what if the mother of the new king is one of the Oloris? Yes, we all know, it will be a taboo to be doing bedmatics with one's mother, wouldn't it be equally taboo to marry one's mother, even when bedmatics will not be in the equation? |
Are human lives so cheap now in Nigeria, such that it can be taken away by a promise of $200? |
OP, you did not mention that you guys have a kid, so I will assume you don't have any yet. Now, the best thing both of you can do, is to keep it that way, no kid. Secondly, you are looking for the wrong solution, nothing is wrong with you, you are normal. Your problem is that, you are not a man, you are mature. Only men are allowed to get marry and have kids...kids can't have kids or get married, the end result is the disastrous things you just enumerated and more. And one test that, one is a man is they are bold enough to make their own decisions in live. If you find yourself not able to make certain live decisions independently and then face the consequences independently, then you are not yet a man. Yes, every live decision have their pros and cons and therefore they have consequences and someone who allow another to make decisions on their behalf in order to solften the consequences is not yet a man...and OP I put it to you that, you are not yet a man, I challenge you that you are not yet a man, you are still papa's and mom's little boy. |
dominique:Not truth, most positions have a salary range, also if you know your worth, you can get more. Most people go into interview with a singular mindset to be interviewed and that is wrong. Just like they are evaluating if you are the right candidate for the job, you should also be interviewing them to know, if they are the right company for you, it is two way street. You should also know if the salary is the right salary and should be able to negotiate your salary. During my days of interviews as a job seeker, I am always ready for the 'do you have any question for us' session and I utilize it to the max and one line of questions I usually ask goes like this..."Sir, how long have worked in this company?"..."what made you qualities of this company have influenced you to stay this long?" I also ask specific questions about the position been recruited for...I want to know how the position came to be...is it as a result of growth, firing of the last person, temporary, etc. |

West Africa is not mature and discipline enough to handle single currency, with a single currency. The strength of the whole region is dictated by the weakness link aka weakness member state and with the rate and the amount of corruption prevalent in the region today, the corrupt practice of a single government official in any of the member states can bring the whole region to it's kneels and they will find themselves going to IMF hat in hand begging for continuous loans with stringent conditions and austerity measures. Yes, there is strengthen in unity and a single currency will benefit the region (if we are united), but it is a disaster otherwise; give it maybe another century or two and we can evaluate. |
LoveDecay:In court of law, all sides are entitle to discovery and even if he denies it, those records can be subpoenaed. |
gaetano:OP, you are incorrect, what God condemned was his wickedness for not wanting to bear offsprings in the name of his dead brother, it his motive that was sinful, not his action. Base on your conclusions from just a single portion of the Bible, you are inheritely saying that: 1. The use of condoms, even by married couples is sinful. 2. Phucking your dead brother's wife is a glorious and worthy act commanded and commendable by God. 3. Polygamany is also a worthy act commanded and commendable by God. Try to study the Bible more just like Paul admonished young Timothy, so that you can be able to "...rightly dividing (teaching) the word of truth"...2 Tim. 2:15. |

Woa. Anyways, open a bank account there and ask them to connect with your bank in Nigeria. I think funds can be transfered easily through banks
