well i think the only way to capture a girls heart, is to be by her all the time, assisting her in most things, and i bet you, she will start nursing a feeling of security in your harm
Ahhhh o ma se oooo. It's a pity. So u are still glued to this Robin Hood kind of love.
Guy, when a girl agrees to date you, do not think you are a good toaster or because you have lyrics. Na lie. She has sized your pocket and realized you can take care of her immediate needs.

Talking of been by her all times and capturing her heart might be temporary but you should have the Benjamin to take her to the movies, the nice joints in town, money for her hair, money for her to buy some good clothes so she can say when with her friends'' my boyfriend bought this for me''.
Guy without those, (ha ha ha) she will find that your recommended Robin Hood love boring and irritating.

Yes oo my brother, we just believe too much in jungle justice or trying to exploit all kinds of situations instead of doing the right thing. A simple video evidence with all the right actions  that will nail the lecturer was turned into a situation where the students has taken the laws into their hands. Just like @reptyle has stated, i really see the man winning this case if he has a very good lawyer.

I still repeat it, i am so sorry for that girl in particular because her name, picture and information is out now in the open and she is the prime target for a revenge from the other party. If it was well planned they would have  masked the face of the girl in that video and called her a different name. We are always in a hurry to do things and in the process lack adequate planning for our subsequent actions.
True talk.
I hope the girl has gotten admission in another school, if not she will be celebrating her 50th birthday in that school having extra years.

I maintain:

Seun Osewa has done more for us NLers by keeping this forum going than fuckever GEJ has done . . . .name me a single thing he has done or u think he can do bigger than d FIFA debacle ?

Majority of diasporans would quickly claim being NLers but deny being Nigerians in the same breath !

PDP led by GEJ keeps looting our nation dry whilst u all brainwashed hypocrites watch your REPRESENTATHIEVES almost kill themselves over stolen tax payers' money ! Its even on YOU-TUBE !

Let GEJ exonerate his wife from the money laundering debacle then we can even assess him.

GEJ should equally come out to declare how much was given PTF - LARRY, ODEGBAMI, JJ and co . . .some crazy unaccounted oil money !
You are the greatest hypocrite I've ever seen. I guess you want Seun to give you a job. Pls what favour are you demanding from Seun. If you were also on a forum created by GEJ, you will sure sing his praise. Arm chair critic like some one called you.

Celebrities › Chinedu Ikedezie (a.k.a Aki) Gets National Honour by Meldrick(op): 10:26am On Jul 23, 2010
The Federal Government recently released the list of recipients for 2009 National Honours Awards. There are twenty two awardees for Members of the Federal Republic (MFR).

Among the recipients is Nollywood actor,Chinedu Ikedieze aka Aki,a graduate of Mass Communication from the Institute of Management Technology(IMT).

“I see my name on the list of Nigerian for the award of Member of the Federal Republic of Nigeria [MFR].It's Gods way of repaying me for all my effort towards and contribution to the growth of Nollywood in the country and the world in general,” Aki Said

What a lot of people in Nollywood don't understand was how Chinedu made the list when several veterans who started the race before him have not even been considered for the honours.

But that is not where I am coming from. It's not how long, but how well, right?Congratulations!!

Politics › Re: Itsekiri Women Shut Down $800m Gas Project by Meldrick(m): 1:54am On Jul 20, 2010
The women have every right to do what they are doing and if anyone is kicking against it, you can stand up and invite the oil companies to your own community but unfortunately the oil comanies won't come cos oil no dey your side. grin grin

Seriously, those who say the women should direct their grieviances to FG and the State Govt might not be wrong but the women have no choice that use the only arsenal they have(stopping the project). By this action they have indirectly fought the FG and State Govt because these are projects that are very dear to the Govt. The govt will have no choice than to meet up their demands.

It's quite wrong for you to talk of generating power for the country without starting from the host community. A lot of people criticising these women will do worse if they are in their shoes but people just talk trash and type rubbish when they don't understand what is happening there.

texazzpete:
The ONLY bandwagon in the Niger Delta is to blame the oil companies for EVERYTHING. And that's just plain silly. It's also the reason why the region remains backwards and poor.
My friend shut up there . If you have nothing to say keep quiet or blow a whistle.

None of them have blamed the oil companies but they are been diplomatic. That project is dear to the government. With this action the government will have no choice but meet their demands inorder for the projecct to continue.

That incription (18) on movies signifies what? so I wonder how parents should be allowing their children to watch every movie and placing ban on some actors.

It does not make sense.
Ohhhh!!!! You just took away what I wanted to say from my mouth. God bless you.

Those parents are a dissapointing. I see no reason why they should expose their children to all channels. There are channels meant for kids e.t.c Cartoon Network, kid co e.t.c. Even most Nigerian films are boldly specified on the age limit (16 or 18). Some insist on parental guidance.
The parents should admit they have failed in the area of bringing up their children and leave Aki and Paw Paw to enjoy their profession.

that goes a long way to show how influential our president is. his home state in disarray and he is still thinking he can rule nigeria even when he cannot handle his state.
on the other hand, what we have in nigeria is called anarchy - absence of govt. i will accept 5 or more deputies because we have democracy which is govt of the ppl, by the ppl and for the ppl so let everybody get involved.
So because he is President and from Bayelsa state, he must interfere with all activities in Bayelsa state. I thought you would say he should be President and Governor of Bayelsa state at the same time. hissess angry angry

This is a bad decision from GJ, Strong Leaders don't take decisions they can not sustain. by doing so Jonathan risk to be viewed by many as a weak Leader.
Anyway it seems he did not exhausted all the possibilities prior to him deciding. and for those who are saying this was a successful strategy by GJ i say to them this was the most immature and retarded strategy i ever heard of. How can a president decides to embarrass himself in front of the world stage and claim success for it? Jonathan could have simply used his political capital to make LULU and his boys resign. I Knew from the beginning this was the wrong decision and i'am glad for the Nigerian people.
True talk. I'm dissapointed in GJ but all the same for the sake of football, make we dey carry dey go.

I have said it before n will say it again GJ is confused n he doesn't even understand the implication of his action. How do you improve an underachieving team? Ban it from competing for two whole years? Spur them on to playing better by not allowing them to play at all? I know by now he must have realized he made d wrong call only don't know hw to come out n admit it,mark my word GJ wil rescind his decision.
SO WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU ARE WISER THAN GJ(DR. GOODLUCK JONATHAN) AND ALL HIS ADVISERS. YOU THINK THE PRESIDENT DID NOT PUT INTO CONSIDERATION THE IMPLICATION OF HIS ACTIONS BEFORE PLACING A BAN ON THE TEAM.
MY FRIEND, YOU DESERVE A VERY HOT SLAP FOR SAYING THE PRESIDENT (A PHD. HOLDER) AND ALL HIS ADVISERS ARE CONFUSED. TAKE YA TIME OOOO.
TO HELL WITH FIFA AND THEIR BAN. IF THEY LIKE THEY BAN US FOR 50YEARS. BLATTER WHO IS UNABLE TO RESOLVE ALL THE CONTROVERSIES SURRONDING THE 2010 WORLD CUP. TURNED DEAF EARS TO THE GOAL LINE TECHNOLOGY. IS THAT MAN NOT MORE CONFUSED THAT ANY OTHER PERSON IN THE WORLD?
Sports › Re: Fifa Give Nigeria 48 Hours Ultimatum To Reverse Ban. by Meldrick(m): 4:40pm On Jul 02, 2010
truly:
Sovereignty comes with responsibility
FIFA is not ordering anybody around - we knew FIFA rules before joining
Blatter is just saying - obey it
If you join a boxing club, you cannot turn around to say that somebody punched a whole you
why is this an issue anyway - we obey rules of
UN, IAEA, IOC, Ecowas, AU, IMF, World bank etc
why is FIFA different
FIFA is very different because the other organisations are there to help out and give aid wheN needed but FIFA is just there to enrish their pockets. REMEMBER LAWS ARE MADE BY MEN AND CAN BE AMMENDED WHEN NECESSARY. AS RIGID AS THE CONSTITUION IS, THERE ISROOM FOR AMMENDMENTS.

HE WHO PLAYS THE PIPER DICTATES THE TUNE. THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT SPENDS THE MONEY, FUNDS THESE PLAYERS. WHERE WAS BLATTER WHEN THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT WAS SPENDING OIL MONEY ON ITS PLAYERS.
THE JUNIOR TEAN UNDER LATE YEMI TELLA WERE COMPENSATED WITH HOUSES IN ABUJA, WAS BLATTER BLIND THEN?  A TEAM WILL BE COMPENSATED WHERE NECESSARY AND REBUKED WHERE NECESSARY.

TO HELL WITH BLATTER. THEY SHOULD CONCENTRATE ON THE BAD OFFICIATING THAT CHARACTERIZE THE 2010 WORLD CUP.
Sports › Re: Fifa Give Nigeria 48 Hours Ultimatum To Reverse Ban. by Meldrick(m): 3:11pm On Jul 02, 2010
FIFA has no right to order the leader of a soverign nation around. The move by President Jonathan is a good move in the interest of over 150 million Nigerians and we are in full support of it. The Nigerian Government funds the national team and just like every business man, the government deserves quality football for the money they invest in the sport. FIFA headed by Blatter should resolve the controversies surrounding the 2010 world cup. They should first settle the issues ranging from poor officiating which FIFA calls human error. FIFA must quench the fire in its organisation and leave Nigeria that is trying to solve it's internal problems alone

Sports › Re: Jonathan Bans Nigeria From International Football For Two Years by Meldrick(m): 1:22pm On Jul 01, 2010
The President has made a good decision and I think FIFA has no reason to stop governments of nations from meddling into their country's football activities. The Super Eagles get their funding from the Federal Government and the government cannot keep spending money when they don't get quality football. Iam surprised at people shifting the blame from the Super Eagles. The Federal Government provided them with everything they needed and I see no reason why they couldn't deliver. The suspension from the President is best since it will give them time to get fresh legs and not tired legs like Aiyegbeni who saw an empty net and couldn't score. That's more like a man who has been cursed.

He also faulted Lagerback on his coaching style now he is facing Kanu. I bet this dude will surely end the way of Oliseh. Any use of technology will defeat the fundamental principles of football which is continuity.
Introduction of a technology that rules out human error of such magnitude like the goal scored by Lampard is paramount. FIFA cannot continue this no technology principle at the expense of some teams. They are to better in the game and work towards perfection. Blatter must re-consider his stand.
