The fact that you mentioned children being strategically positioned shows you know nothing about Dr Olukoya or even the Mfm you are talking about.

tundebasic:
Well, if one looks at it from the perspective of inputs in marriage, the woman will feel cheated if she has to do *all the house chores* while also sharing in the bills.

Abroad, the home responsibility is shared. In Nigeria, a man only calls for support because of the dwindling economy.

So, let's assume the woman only contributes about 5-20% of the shared responsibilities.

The man should be able to do an equivalent amount of house chores.

Also, when their children become adults, the chores will no longer be in their dictionary (except probably cooking).

So, an African woman should not believe because she contributed 5% of shared bills, house chores will be shared 50:50. Just my take.
Oshey!!! see sharing formula in African marriage now.

We will all be alright last last.

Serious scam to to laye yi o si. That's why most men with this mentality start whinning when they lose their source of income that they are no longer relevant.

The question should be 'what was your relevance before?

If you loss or disappear and they cry the mandatory two minutes, would they miss you or would their lives go on without your replacement? undecided
Honestly at bolded, the way they keep pushing that narrative which is one sided is concerning.

It's common sense if all you are providing is money why should someone provide money plus the other things.

Nature has shared the role and if there has to be an adjustment for whatever reason it has to be on both sides but iro oo, it's only the woman that must adjust to add making money to her own role, the man should keep making money only, what is he adding to the money making, you say it they keep quiet or they say kini big deal, well homemaking is not big deal blehbleh bleh and they can't survive 1 hour with 2 children under 5.

Women are already making money it's an indisputable fact let the NL men be useful for something else apart from making money if they want bills to be shared.

2nd bolded answer is Money only according to Nairalanders.

The 2nd scam that is being pushed by women these days is that it is when you share bills your husband will respect you, some have nicknamed it sense of responsibility grin I laugh when I read such posts as if they are not aware there are women who are even bread winners that being ridiculed, disrespected, beaten and cheated upon by the same man they sponsor.

All na scam.

If you want to split the bill's, then you must split the chores too or you must employ a maid to do the chores.
She can't go to work like you do and still be expected to cook, clean and take the kid to and from school.
So, if you're splitting the bills you MUST split the chores as well.
Somebody has said it finally. They didn't mention it in the 3 pages.

It is only bills Nairaland men want to split, they will never ever ever split chores. If chores and nurturing is just chores and not a big deal, then providing is just providing and also not a big deal. If it's not manly to be domesticated then it's not womanly to provide money Let everybody carry his/her cross and rest.

Ladies should stop falling for that scam, you will provide money , born pikin, nurture, do all the housework and all he does is provide money? Money you are already making?
Na Scam.

Hahaha, there was plenty drama on Monday and Yesterday by the public transport drivers along Badagry expressway inwards mile 2 on the order that all transporters should pass service lane only while the speed lane should be only for private drivers and BRT.

All those korope passing one way from orile turning at that mile 2 fast lane and normally cause hold up were cleared off.

Well there was no traffic Monday and Yesterday but the question was what happens when the tankers queue on the service lane from abule ado. Problem, they want them to be in traffic for hours, doesn't look realistic

One thing though Those NURTW /RTEAN guys are super organized sha. If they can prevent the unnecesary one way by the koropes and illegal stopping by the transporters at least we will rest on that end towards orile.

I saw the post on FB, I didn't get to read the killing part though I only saw the review part and I wondered what Ike gwuru meant.

On that same FB another person gave excellent reviews of one tomato and pepper paste I think by Tiger foods that I can't remember it's name now I wasn't interested because I use tinned tomato for jollof only.

They also said Tiger products are of good quality, well I have used their bay leaves and curry masala and they are quite good and I agreed with them in my mind.

What I don't get is why arresting her, if you feel she's defamed your product sue her, go to court shikena. Which one is whisking away, transferring case to Abuja Lori kini? this police intimidation when you are influential is nonsense.

It's a customer review in my opinion, we can't pretend some tinned tomatoes don't contain sweeteners.

I am a bit indifferent about this matter.

All I know is pastors kids and wives make a whole lot of sacrifices, a lot of times the comfort of church members translates to a lot of discomfort and sacrifices on the pastors immediate family. Pastors need to do more especially with their immediate family, the family should not always pay the price for ministry. Lots of pastors kids are in pain, they carry scars to adulthood.

I remember while as a house officer almost a decade ago, I did 48hrs on-call in Paediatric surgery. Never looked forward to those on-call days cos they were brutal. Nearly half the on-call would be in theatre, on your feet or chasing results and blood transfusion. Registrars then were on 72hr on-call.
Now as a consultant in Uk, I work 3 days a week.
He may not have been on call for 72hrs but hospitals need to look after the welfare of their employees.
Seriously?

How do you guys survive that and I was finding it strange seeing a particular doctor around the ward for 24 hours.
Health › Re: Dr. Umoh Michael did not work for 72 hours - LUTH by NoToPile: 10:26am On Sep 21, 2023
What is the normal amount of hours a doctor is supposed to work?

I have personally seen doctors around for 24hours during my stay in govt hospital when having my babies and I wonder how they do it.

A doctor attended to me early on a Tuesday morning checked and I wasn't dilated but because I was almost 41 weeks I was admitted immediately now later that night, it was the same doctor that inserted catheter, now that same doctor likely worked overnight. There are other doctors around too, but I picked that face coz he was the one that attended to me.

All these time attending to other women walking up and down etc etc

It was another doctor that attended to me when I had my baby by Wednesday morning.

I kept wondering if doctors work 24hours straight since that time.

Most time it's the same set of doctors you see around for 24 hours or more, how on earth won't there be mistakes, someone on the feet for 24 hours, abeg oo.

Doctors in govt hospital make una answer oo, I think 24hours is too much, I thought it was morning and night 12 hour shift.

I always say it that a lot of women has been scammed into this providing stuff, real scam.

Very simple a man should be able to provide 3 basic necessities.

1.Chopmoni - feeding
2.Shelter - house rent
3.School fees.

Those are major dutiesof a Man, there are others too but those 3 up there is very essential.

The same set of people that are seeing nothing wrong in women paying the rent are the same that can't help women in their own duty.

Nawa.

Marriage is when you have fulfilled what is required according to however it is done where you are from whether you are a jew, Indian, Yoruba, igbo, whatever. So the Indians that might not go to church but do their traditional stuff are not married in the eyes of God abi?

God honors it and in the eyes of God you are already married here in Naija we will say it's when bride price has been paid.

Even the churches know you are married when the requirements have been fulfilled that's why they will say if your bride price has been paid you can't marry another person.

Some people just like controversy, the father is right the lady is already married simple.
