Outstrip there must be an explanation. I am not saying that the poster is exaggerating but I just don't understand it

I can understand the electronics. With the erratic Naija power supply, it could be that it just so happened that this contributed to them breaking down, but things like mop bucket and dustpan I am not so sure. So unless he is deliberately breaking them (the question is why) these items should last a very long time.

If he is deliberately breaking them, then he needs some mental help and I would imagine that he would show his behavioural/mental/other problems in other areas but the poster doesn't mention this in her post.Anyhow I think the hubby should be involved sooner rather than later.
Dr CC. LOL. You know now that you talk about erratic power supply I remember now that appliances get blown all the time because too much or too little power comes through. In that case I think that is what ruined these electronics. Honestly if this "breaker of things" was staying with me I would realize after the first 2 that he is not the one breaking those tvs. Unless of course he has that undiagnosed mental problem you suggested grin grin grin grin grin

We can blame the boy but has someone bothered to sit dwn and show the boy how to use these gadgets.

We take a lot of things for granted but it could be that the boy has never used these things before. i had a 18 year old help that had never used a gas cooker in her life and it wasnt until she nearly burnt the place down that I questioned her and found out.

Sounds like he has a heavy hand and is handles things with brute strength.

As for the food, I have seen grown men totally misbehave because of food, Food for some people is more important than the air that they breathe. some people who have experienced hunger in their lives tend to over compensate when they see food.

I am not on the boys side and he should be given a good telling off when necessary. the poster should also involve her husband so she doesnt carry the burden alone.
I see where you are coming from but how can you manhandle that many electronics. I can understand a blender or something like that but these particular electronics are not the type you move around. They are stationary. Unless he is chewing on them or kicking them then I don't see how he can break them

scroll all the way down on this page. That hold can help the baby but as much as I would love to reassure you that it will fix it all I cant. Some babies are just colicky and they just have to go through the process. I really hope you and the baby find some relief
Family › Re: How Do I Treat Navel Pain In My Baby by Outstrip(f): 6:15pm On Aug 11, 2011
So it is not navel pain (what ever that is). It is most likely colic since you say it feels better when you put pressure on him abdomen. Gas. Make sure you are burping him correctly. Also I will try to find a picture and post up here to show you how you can hold a colicky child to ease the pressure in their stomach. As everyone has suggested go see a paediatrician
Politics › Re: Ex Judge Advocates For Christian Courts In Nigeria: Like Sharia Courts by Outstrip(f): 6:11pm On Aug 11, 2011
well maybe this will make the idiots that allowed sharia in the first place realize that there is no place for it in a democracy. Christians also live in those predominantly muslim areas. Maybe muslims should then be forced to observe the sabath

Our electrician when I was a kid had long nails. I remember he used to stick them in live electricity and when i would try to imitate him he would freak out. I thought it was cool that he did not get shocked LOL. Now that I think of it he also used to chew gum all the time like a teenage girl hmm

As far as am concern, Frank and his ex wife know what is better for them, if its marriage or divorce. I guess they will be regretting it one way or the other.

They both want the divorce, so no big deal but i feel for the kids, women should do alot regard their husband cos the impact of divorce is more on them than the men, i stand to be corrected. All i see in this is that both of them want to be in control and this cannot work, where a man a his wife are famous, they become someone else, i guess their marriage would still be on now if neither of them are public figure, so men beware of the ladies u are about to marry if they are public figure likewise ladies. wink
Their marriage would still have crumbled. He used to beat her and she said herself that she was not a push over. She said when he hit her she would fight back. Men who like to subdue women with physical strength will have a hard time with a woman who is willing and ready to give him slap to chop when they decide to play rambo

Shameless thing. You want to be able to panel beat a woman when ever you get the itch. Men like you is why I wish that tasers were legalized. I would love to taze your ass and watch you flop around like a fish out of water. Shameless to the core.

I remember watching on Channels TV, an 8 year old boy being burnt to date cos they said he was a kidnapper. He kept saying that the small boy ran to him not the other way round. They beat this boy until they broke his head and set him on fire. They didn't show the boy burning but the showed when they set him on fire. This young boy was running and someone pushed him down.

That was the day i said poverty na bastar.d. If he was a well dressed young boy, no one would have done such. Even just remembering it brings tears to my eyes. I don't care what anyone could have done but they do not deserve that kind of death. I wanted to hold that young boy and comfort him. Kai! Poverty na bad thing. I can not and will not be poor.
Oh my goodness. This is horrible. I don't think I can ever get over seeing something like this. Poverty na real bast, ard

The poster knows that he is not breaking things on purpose. If she did she would have said it. So I do not think that he is purposely doing it. He could be careless but it is hard to believe that he broke that many electronics in that length of time by accident. I think the poster needs to be honest first before she can solve her problem. That is why I simply don't like this arrangement of grown ass people living with other grown ass people

It'll be impossible to enforce. What happens when a bus going to the east leave lagos at 8am and is still on the road at 8pm. Where do you drop off the passengers? The best they can do is say no bus schedule should start after a certain time. We know though that people have been stuck on the road for days just going from Lagos to the East

The only thing on the list worth talking about are the tvs and dvd players. I have broken about the same amount of things myself grin I am finding it very very very hard to believe that he broke 4 tvs and 6 dvd players. You simply have to give the circumstances surrounding those. Sorry I am not saying you are lying but I ust don't believe that he broke that many elctronic devices.

I don't find it funny. It'ss just stupid to me. I always wonder why Ghanaians take so much pride in being associated with american culture. I guess this proves it. Half of the reasons why they are proud of not being Nigerians is because Nigerians embrace their culture. Egusi over hamburger anyday. Thank God I am Nigerian
