This recent House of Dragon episode so fucking boring, characters different in all aspects. Why is this lady from The originals playing Alicent
Fishing for attention? Because that episode is arguably the best of the season so far and even naysayers attested to it.

Rolling Stone has a penchant of doing this nonsense omitting GOT.... undecided undecided Ever since that controversial S8.

Those stupid two didn't even finally get the job they so hurriedly ditched GOT for. Na devil and God go judge them sha. angry angry Up till today I doubt those w@nkers has seen a job.
GOT was 32 on the list...me sef shock.

But But....S1 - S6 is still a pop culture shift atomic bomb...every sunday when a new episode airs was literally like a carnival. I was watching CNN one time on a Monday, a co news anchor was begging her partner not to spoil last night episode live on air!. GOT was seriously That show ! . I don't know if this stat is still correct, but i think it is the most pirated tv serial in a long while so that distasteful S8 shouldn't taint it's greatness and should rightly be on any list of Top 10 shows ever.

As for those two, they will surely pay for thier crimes on Yawm ad-Din Insha Allah sad . They have not been on any serious project after that fiasco.

again I ask ...

How can I open a list of so called 100 shows in the world and not a single show except The Wire and Supranos is worth my time among those I haven't watched

Already The Wire and Supranos were on my watchlist...
Shows how dumb the entire list is if only 2 shows I haven't seen in the entire list are worth my interest

But you're just an ásslicker who will worship any garbage TV detective murder rubbish with 1000 seasons cos it's on one useless list cheesy cheesy
lol at the bolded "Worth my Time". You have this warped idea that for a show to be good, it has to appeal to you, You might as well be on Emmy and Osacar's voting board with this your perceived good taste. Try and live outside your bubble at times man. I thought we cleared this on Monday? Let me reemphasize, Those episodic garbage , (using your words) was enjoyed by a large crowd and so deserve to be in that list or any list for that matter as GOAT shows. Them not appealing to you or a small section of the poll, isn't an anomaly.

Let me school you on a case studies using two shows "BB and Seinfeld"

Some people are still pretty sure that BB was boring and isn't worth the hype, but don't you still see BB in every GOAT show list now and then?

Seinfeld is literally a show about "nothing" and if you see the first season, you might rain curses on the person that recommended it to you, still in appears every time on most GOAT show list?

What do these say?

To save you the hassle...you make your own "Top 100" list at least for us your brethren on this thread , so we too can gain from your "fountain of knowledge" and "impeccable series and movie taste".

Here is "Rolling Stone" top 12 greatest shows of all time list". Entirely fine with this list with the exception of the none inclusion of GOT.. probably a spill over from that catastrophic S8...D.B and D.W.B will answer for their crimes one day.

Peep "Succession" among all time OG's...Get on it now if you have been stalling...Peak top tier Tv drama content cool smiley

I have episode 1 downloaded already since last week...

It's on my watchlist but I have so many shows fully downloaded I need to finish first
It is purely non-dialogue and all the actions are conveyed through the animation, just so you know.

Great work of art still tho.

I watch superhero stuff lol...
But still not supergirl

I have sources, if the show had a good story to tell, I would know
lol you are still not getting the point.

Man said "he has sources" cheesy like you are the director of FBI or CIA? wink. I doubt you are the benchmark for a "good story" because outside your niche, which everyone on the thread knows, your choices are dodgy...I mean, you are still dragging the greatness of "Arcane" despite glaring evidence that prove otherwise.

So G, You know your niche, stick to it.
TV/Movies › Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by oyaskii(m): 9:51am On Sep 26, 2022
Baddestguyp:
thanks but I won't be caught watching Supergirl
Your personal choice and preference but it doesn't mean you have a superior taste than those that watch it or doesn't negate the fact that it was enjoyed by an appreciable crowd.

I mean anime is basically your bread and butter, some people might call you childish for that particular choice, like how will a full grown man yap about old style "animation" all day that isn't even in english? But it is what it is.

Moral lesson: Everybody get wentin dey do am and give am Joy G.

trying to use him to revive the dead supergirl series?
Relax...The show has ended and this was a promotional poster for one of the Superman crossover in the Supergirl universe.

For all your chide, the show had very decent ratings and was well received in the demographic it was intended for...I mean...it did survive for 6 seasons.

Omo thank you very very much for this. It is much appreciated. Thank you. Seems like I need to watch it. Does anyone know any telegram channel or site where I can download it from? The telegram channels I joined do not have it and tfpdl also does not have it on their server anymore. I'm talking about season 1 and 2
Search for gameofseriesinfo on telegram, search for "The crown" , click on link, it will take you to a bot where you will find all seasons in 720p or 1080p.

Check the pics below if it helps and sorry for the quality. Telegram doesn't allow screenshot so i literally had to snap the app from another device.

Alienist:
Can someone give us a breakdown of what EACH SEASON of the Crown is all about?? From season 1-4
S1 focused on the event leading up to 1955 covering King George V ascension to throne after his brother abdicated because he wanted to marry a divorcee which was against the laws of the Church of England at that time. It also focused on King George V short reign and failing health due to lung cancer and eventual death and crowing of Queen Elizabeth II in 1952. Finally it also centered on Winston Churchill's reign as prime minister and eventual resignation. There was also the back story of Princess Margaret ( The Queen's sister) and her love life shenanigans.

S2 focused on the suez canal and profumo affair scandal, the Reign of two prime ministers and the birth of Prince Edward. The period covered was 1955 to 1964.

S3 (The weakest season imo) focused on the period from 1964 to 1977..nothing much of interest in this S3. Camilla Shand ( The present queen consort) was introduced.

S4 focused on the reign of Margaret Thatcher as prime minister and Lady Diana Spencer ( Princess of Wales) was introduced and her relationship with Prince Charles (Prince of Wales then, now King) was the main focus.

The upcoming S5 will primarily focus on Prince Charles and Lady Diana chaotic marriage and events leading up to thier eventual separation in 1992 and eventual divorce in 1996.

This is what I mean when I'm talking about the vastness of Game of Thrones (ASOIAF) Universe.
They can easily adapt 10s of different shows and age from the books without breaking a sweat.

There's so much more that casual audience and even some book readers don't know about the other continents such as Sothoyros, Summer Isles etc.
That's why i respect fantasy writers like GRRM alot. Imagine the time and thought process to seemly conjure fictional to semi fictional cultures, languages, religion and even race in a book spanning volumes.

cannot wait! Show will be weird now that we know the queen has passed away, i hope it continues after season 5!
There's a season 6 in the works, but a little pause between this and it out of respect on the occasion of the Queen's death. The S5 covers the divorce of Prince ( or King now) Charles and Princess Diana which was the period between 1992 - 1996, so there's still much story to tell from 1996 till now and this might going on till S7 or S8 at least.

They have completely ruined Rick and Morty.
Not completely ruined tho the writing as gone awol but they have not been entrapped by world of humour policed by an extreme wokeness so they can practically joke about anything across any divide but the material is becoming a bit over stretched now and the first 2 episodes of S6 seems like a chore to get through with few laughs here and there, i just hope it sparks up as it progresses so that it doesn't become another "Family Guy". That one has suffered from extreme wokeness so much more that i had to abandon recent seasons and just regularly do a re run of it's peak years when could literally joke about anything.

what does original actually mean anyway? if you have been watching movies and tv shows and reading long enough, you will see that almost everything is an allegory or reskin or satire of something else.

You are the brick layer, your entire family mix cement for a living, I said comment like yours, it could be Twitter, Instagram, Reddit.

What I'm telling you, it's wrong to encourage reboot, 80% of the time it ends badly.

Don't quote me, I will no longer respond to you.
First of all..What are you on about "Don't quote me again? It was you who barged into my mentions with dimwit comment even after i tried to correct you on my POV 3 times, you still remained in your folly putting an affirmative yes in the argument that you most likely have an apple upstairs masquerading as a functioning brain.

Well it takes a good cement mixer to know one from a faceless forum so imma hit you for jobs, maybe we can finally find use for that apple you carry about thinking it's a brain.

You clearly have some unresolved issues G and i am hoping you get the help you need. Let me leave you with this....Next time you process some nonsensical thought, it's best to ruminate over it for long and keep it within yourself....cuz "it's best thought to be fool when silent, than speaking and clearing any doubt".

You're the one that need to read and understand, this is what you said.
This is you clearly encouraging Hollywood to reboot, Mufasa?, seriously, Mufasa?. 26 years later and we are still rebooting lion king. Shame on you.

Comment like yours is what one executive will see and decide to make a Mulan live action, and we end up with a disaster.
lol am i seriously talking to a brick wall here or you just choose to be obtuse not to understand? For the umpteenth time, I'm down for any anything, be it a reboot or a "new material" so long as it's good. If you see this as encouragement then that's clearly your problem.

At bolded...Take two tabs of chill pill and Relax...I doubt Kevin Feige it's rummaging through NairaLand to see my comment to reboot "2050:A Space Odyssey".

GRIMMJOE:
You know your think is false, Terminator, Avatar, Star Wars, every good movie started as an original, the next great franchise will never be born if the keep pumping out reboots.
Actually try to read my previous reply and understand man. Let me rephrase again... I'm at a point where I'm literally game for any anything be it a reboot or a fresh material (like you said) as long as it's good.

And looking for the "next great franchise" out of some fresh idea or material might be a wild goose chase at the moment. They are still going to be making movies and franchises of books, movies, and comics of yester years. I doubt if there will be anything "fresh", at best, a different way of telling the story but not necessarily a "fresh idea".

So my advice, sieve the good ones, take what you can get and keep it moving.
