The Genesis is a 4.6L V8 and not a 4.3 liked you stated. It's normally referred to as 4.6 Tau V8
Politics › Re: 'scrapping Bonus' Injects Life Into German Car Sales by proo212(m): 9:46pm On Feb 17, 2009
You have to have the car for at least a year though. Since, that is one of our biggest industries (i'm not German but been here a long time), people think it's a good deal.
Politics › Re: Concern Grows Over The Whereabouts Of Nigerian President - Voice Of America by proo212(m): 9:03pm On Feb 05, 2009
The funny thing is that we still have some gullible Nigerians who think the man is actually on vacation. If he comes back as promised after 2 weeks, I will put my hands up and say my bad. I really don't think so though. The man was really ill and he needed to go and recharge, reason why he abandoned ship to sneak out.

It's not rocket science but i hope i'm wrong though gut feeling tells me otherwise.

Afterwards some people will say ah Yaradua has good intentions. At least he's trying!!!! Bunkum. He is corrupt like the rest of them. Wants to hang on to power when he hasn't done anything in 2 years. He's very ill, no idea how to take the country forward.

Aaarrggghhhhhh!!!

Ok, I 'm calm now.

Politics › Re: Mend Calls Off Ceasefire, threatens Attack On Jtf by proo212(m): 2:43am On Jan 16, 2009
Perhaps MEND should turn their attention on the Bayelsa/Rivers/Delta/Edo and Akwa-Ibom State Governments as well. With the level of corruption going on there, they cannot afford to turn a blind eye. Obviously they are all compromised. I used to be optimistic but I've lost my faith in the country sad

Damn and I thought men were the horrible ones,  grin   joke.

We haven't heard her side of the story yet (why she cheated, not making excuses for it). Perhaps he never let it rest that he gave her a kidney so she has to be eternally grateful to him, Who knows, maybe after hearing that every time, she had enough and oops fell on another manliness mean kidney.

Like I said, there is no excuse for what she did, but I'm sure she'll have a reason or justify it.

Autos › Re: Audi A6 Quattro V8 4.2 L by proo212(m): 10:02pm On Jan 08, 2009
Hey Siena, I am looking at an A8 2.8 (in the UK) perhaps in the next few months. What is the tyre wear like on these? I would like to bring with me an A8 3.3TDi from here but these cars are really cheap in the UK now and I can save a few grand on a UK spec car.
Politics › Re: It Is Chaotic Uk by proo212(m): 9:57pm On Jan 08, 2009
Well Germany too is feeling the pinch. Maybe not as much at the moment but we are an export based economy so if UK cannot buy because half of them are unemployed, we are stuffed too.

In my opinion, it will be deeper in the UK but I also believe when it starts to get better the UK will also get better quicker because they are not tied to the ECB policies/Euro

But my company is a UK company and the German operation did not do well in 08. But you have to admit that the UK is mortgaged to the hilt and that is the issue coupled with lack of manufacturing base, all assets in foreign ownership, gold reserves sold off. It does make for a grim forecast. Not good if your family is going to be affected. (so either way i am affected)
Politics › Re: It Is Chaotic Uk by proo212(m): 9:39pm On Jan 08, 2009
Outlookbabe, thanks jare. You hit the nail on the head. It's sad but that is the reality. BOSS, if you need to know the exact sentiments of the average brit, read the Times, Telegraph and (even Daily Mail to add a bit spice to it)
Car Talk › Re: Which Brand Of Car Has The Best Fuel Economy? by proo212(m): 6:48pm On Jan 05, 2009
I thought it was pretty straightforward actually.

What kind of mileage you get from London to Manchester will depend on your driving style. Are you a boyracer that accelerates away from the lights/brake sharply and speeds off again or are you lightfooted?

If your car has a trip computer, you see how your driving style affects your fuel consumption. Simple really,
Politics › Re: Mallam Ribadu Dismissed From The Police! by proo212(m): 8:46pm On Dec 23, 2008
The same people who are saying "serves him right for selective victimisation" are the same ones disgusted the Igbinedion got only 3.5m Naira fine for stealing 4.4b Naira.

How long do you need to spend 4.4b? You cannot live in 2 houses at once, hell, you cannot even sleep in 2 bedrooms at once.

The greed is just silly. I personally cannot understand having so much money " that you stole" (not misappropriated) and the road in front of your mansion that you built with stolen money is in a mess or there's someone begging on the street or an accident happened killing people on a road that should have been repaired with the money you stole. I don't get it.

Ribadu was selective but attitudes "changed". People were afraid of stealing (or getting caught). In the present administration, we all know that corruption has increased way above when Ribadu was EFCC boss.

The slap on the wrist for Igbinedion is just the tip of the iceberg, sadly people will be disgusted but nobody will move an inch to correct it. This is the worst administration ever.

Ibori ko? Ibori ni? This creativity guy likes the sound of his own voice too much.

I'm waiting for Madam Information Minister to put government spin on this one. Nigerians might not protest this one but everyone knows what is going on, Someone on one of the other boards gave her 2 weeks before her star begins to fade.

I guess she will convieniently avoid this one.

Romance › Re: The Man Of My Dreams?!! by proo212(m): 1:42am On Dec 21, 2008
This guy is someone like myself, or rather someone i used to be. He's giving enough to keep you interested/intrigued.

Either
1. He doesn't want anything more or rather he doesn't see anything long term happening (I have been called names by women because of this)

or

2. He's not sure where your priorities lie and so he's happy to enjoy the ride and not put anything in it so he doesn't get hurt.

I have kept relationships on the surface and will not move to the next level on purpose because of these two reasons. You have to figure out what is what so you know either ways. I hope i'm wrong.
