If you need daarsat receiver why not strike a deal with a Niaja member who needs a Muti Tv box so you can swap since the price seemed to be the same. Just a thought |

I'm not too surprised about e.tv. I told you I saw their banner being displayed all over but wondering who is behind it. Well, as long as we get it free, no problem.
I want to add my voice to your call to fellowmen in GH to 'show their faces small'. I say to them, "We know you are sneaking out there and waiting for windfall. Let us know you so we can help each other. FTA forever!" |

@nearest, Emiritus You can try changing the polarity or better if you can let the house know which LNBs you are using. This is based on the assumption that you have got everything in check - cable, screws et all and of course your dish is without any obstruction. |

I know the fuss over Etv will not be over for sometime to come. But to be fair to Etv. she has served us well. For those of us who are familiar with PAS 7/10, SABC package used to part of the bird. And those times, that was a bird to catch. But SABC left or rather shrank their coverage to SA only. And for years now, it was Etv that kept that bird alive. So if she is gone, which is unfortunate though, we have to present her with a long service award!
Etv, Ayekoo (well done), you have done your part, but we need you back! So until we get figure out her encryption, we have to look for alternative for which we are not short of, at least for those whose set ups are motorised.
And kudos for all who have made this forum possible. |

Paps1: So if etv is going on nagra 3 what does that mean. It means, it is encrypted for now, unless there is a new patch for it. |

spacevice: @ALL It seems everyone in here uses a STRONG decoder. Or is there anyone using GBS/GTV decoder, Cochip cdvb5668? How useless is that decoder?
I can get only 10 channels, all French.
What does it mean if u scroll to Sirius 4 on the GBS decoder and u see signal quality between 24-28%? I was told the 10 French channels i'm receiving are on W3A. Why then do i get that signal on Sirius 4?
FTA forever! @The GBS box is Irdeto encrypted, so all their channels are encrypted. The W3A channels are the only free channels in the box. As you indicated, if you set your dish mid-point between Sirius4 and W3A, there is a possibility that you will get both birds. You cannot get Sirius or any other bird on the GBS box unless, someone comes up with a software that can decrypt it. |

I just checked lyngsat and Flysat. Though I know Intelsat 7/10 C and Paksat require di-electric, the polarisation there are either H or V. Where does the theory of R and L comes in? |
