Every man deserves to know if the child/ren a woman presents to him as his; is/are actually his. Irrespective of whether you have been married for 1 year or 50 years you still need to know if your child/ren is/are biologically yours. From your write-up, it appears your wife has given you grounds to be suspicious; hence, don’t feel guilty of trying to know if you kid/s is/are yours. As you are having doubts, I will advise you to go ahead and do the DNA of the child and if you have other children, also get their DNA test done to be absolutely sure you are their biological father. If it turns out that they are yours then all good; but if it turns out that they are not yours then you’ll decide how you want to proceed with the news; whether to confront your wife or keep the news to yourself, that’s entirely your call. It’s not only the pregnancy test that points to the story as fake. There are other things in there that showed it was a made up story and it was not hard to tell.

This is the 21st century; and it’s logical to carry out some test before marriage. Such as your genotype test, STD test, fertility/pregnancy test etc as well as any other test that is necessary. At the end of the day, if you fail to do such test then you’ll be on your own if you fall prey.

My story is a very long one, pls bear with me. I met my husband in 2012 when I gained admission into university, he stays in my step mom's area, we started talking, he was a lively person. You can’t force a relationship that probably wasn’t there from day 1 for them to suddenly become best friends. In life, we all face challenges that are sometimes beyond our capacity but remember this quote; “When life throws a lemon at you, use it to make lemonade”.

As your writing skills are this good, you can advertise as a proof reader for proof reading documents for people.

Continue to advertise your freelancing skills just as you did in the video you posted so that you are sort after.

You can also register on Fiverr as someone else has mentioned to you here earlier on and advertise what your skills are.

You can look into establishing a blog and raise awareness about issues you can do research on.

As you are able to self-teach yourself, you can also look into programming and web design. There are tutorials on the internet to teach you as a self-starter until you master the skills and when you understand it well you can advertise the service for people to know you do that as well.

The internet is not only used for gathering information; you can use it to your advantage as a source of income by advertising your services so that people know what you offer and will be willing to engage you to deliver the service(s) and get paid for it. Use the internet to your advantage to act as sources of income streams for you among other things that generate funds you are/will be involved in.

i wasn't always a decent writer, but since i started freelancing i have taken a number of courses from coursera.org. i studied the Chicago Manual of Style intensively for a few months, and then read many writing books. together with the little aptitude i have for many subjects and my hardwork, i became a competent writer.

i mixed up my dates, but you could just skip one year (instead of 2010, start from 2011) and every will make sense. i am usually more meticulous than this, but my head is a mess.

You write so well and you mentioned that you did not attend the university. I am finding that hard to believe. if you didn't attend the university did you do OND/HND?

When Ishilove said she has doubts with your story; I saw where she was coming from. When I read your initial post, something wasn't just right with the way you narrated your story as it didn't add up.

Then Ifyalways brought out the conflicting information you put up there and you came and clarified it; was that a true clarification you gave her? Note that without the help of Ifyalways, a lot of people would have been scammed and I am not referring directly to your story. So don't feel that she was harsh and quick to see you as not telling the truth. It is the experience of how people come out with sob stories that end up being FALSE that has become very common now on NL and they are all out to scam people.

I am all for helping anyone in need as we don't know where we will find ourselves in tomorrow; hence being a giver and helping those in need is paramount for me in life.

So please be honest as if you are giving a distortion account of the things you are experiencing, it can hinder people who genuinely intend to help you not to do so. Not only that, others who come up with touching stories can be hindered from getting the needed help as people will assume their story/plight isn't true.

What is proving so difficult for you to go and contact these institutions and get a true certified copy of all the documents that are missing? What exactly is the problem here as I don’t see one. It might take you a bit of time and probably you might have to spend some money for them to be re-issued. Going back to these institutions to get a certified copy should have been your number one call.

On a different note, if it is only you and your husband that live in your house then go back and ask him again where your documents are as documents don’t suddenly develop legs to walk out of the house and suddenly go missing.
