Celebrities / Re: If Not For Money Or Sperm, Women Really Have No Need For Men - Charly Boy by Shinatu: 12:53pm On May 10, 2016
prejulsuc:
very very correct. That is the reason most men are possessive especially when the woman has money more than them, they know in due time the woman may end the relationship ,
because she feels the man is not important to her since she can provide her needs and it even become worse if the woman have kids and money together. She will not bother about man anymore.

Exactly! very few women are still in marriage because they love their husbands and the men know it.

Many are still there becasue of;

1.Religion/Society
2.Money (not particularly for themselves but to train their children, but I must say some are so materialistic that they remain there to maintain their social status)

God bless the person who said good men will never be useless, it all comes down to what you are able to bring to the table.
That is the essence of all relationships, not only marriage, any human being who has nothing to offer in a situation is useless in that situation, no be fight.

This fuel station still sold at N130 yesterday.
Anyway this Fuel station is so big and in an open place that it is hard for me to believe that DPR is not aware of their activities.
I am beginning to think all that 'tough talk' by DPR/NNPC on TV is just what it is, A Media Sensation.

I do not know the form of cancer this woman had.
Cevical cancer is silently killing women and it IS caused by a virus carried around by men.
Women, take care of yourself, the kind of man you are with can determine how long you will live on this Earth.
Celebrities / Re: Dele Momodu Tells His Side of The Story With Davido's Father, Dr Adeleke [PICS] by Shinatu: 12:47pm On Dec 31, 2015
What a pity.
There is a difference between just rich people and wealthy but decent people.

When you see people from rich and decent families , you'll know
When you see their children, you will know
When they open their mouth to talk, you will know.

Money simply cannot buy class, money may have to be in the family from generation to generation before class can evolve.

Show me where it is written in the quran that you must go to the university!
The key thing about Christmas is the purpose and understanding of why Jesus came. That is what the Christian celebrates. For Easter,we celebrate His death and resurrection which was for a purpose!
If you study the bible, you will find the purpose there and that is all that matters.

We are instructed to celebrate his death and resurretion- Esther, may provide the scripture if I am able to get some time to look for it, it is with Christmas that there are no direct instructions, but as you mentioned the purpose is clear.
Politics / Where Is DPR? Retropark On Peter Odili Is Selling At N180 by Shinatu: 6:59pm On Nov 25, 2015
I have tried to contact DPR Port Harcourt, the number(08056099183) I found on the internet is not connecting.
I am beginning to think what we see on TV about DPR's effort at regulating pump price of Petrol is just a show.
DPR just takes a TV crew along to one or two Filling stations to show off, they are not really interested in regulating anything.
Retropark a big conspicuous filling station on Peter Odili road has been selling fuel at N180 per litre for the past one week.

Please anyone who has a direct contact phone number to DPR Port Harcourt should please provide it or pass this info on.

We will sha do our own bit?

OP, sincerely, I feel your pain. I just got out of something like that too, though mine seems a little tougher than yours. I worked for over 9months without no pay in one of the multinational Companies in the Country(tho franchised)under the excuse of 'the company is going through some financial stress bla bla bla ,and what did I get in return?...a blatant allegation that I was stealing his money. He went as far as requesting I drop my phones so he can check for alerts of 'diverted' payments from Customers. He didn't see anything and of course, wasn't satisfied. The height of the insult was calling my bank, where he happened to be a former staff, to request my account statement which the mumu accounts Officer gave to him, forgetting that it is against the ethics of the job. Of course, he didn't see anything. There and then, I made up my mind it was time to leave. It's till now, the best decision I have made in my life. So, cheer up....it's an experience gained. God will make ways of better places for you soon. Move on.

You worked for 9months without pay and you want your boss to believe you were not stealing money from him?
I am not saying you stole his money o, but it will not be out of order to wonder how you survived for the 9months.

Please do you know what killed your Aunt?
Many women are dying of Cervical cancer and AIDS these days.
A colleague of mine just told me how they just buried her friend who died of AIDS a few months ago, she got it from her husband.
Cervical cancer is another silent killer, it is so embarassing no one talks about it.

They are all rogues.
This reminds me of Okada riders.
For survival, they rally round any other Okada man involved in an accident.
It does not matter whether he is wrong or not, it could be any one of them tomorrow (since they will always look for trouble and not abide by the rules) so they must intimidate the opponent.

My fellow Nigerians, let us start to focus on other elected positions like we focused on the Presidential one this last election.
Let us push these rogues out that Nigeria may survive!

Who says that area is high risk for robbers? This is the second attack on that Bank in two years that I know of.
I rememeber that when I mentioned the first one I witnessed to a colleague who has stayed longer around that area. he said it was a re occuring incident!

it is a nice thing they got a chase this time, last year's was a jamboree for them.

She is most likely the presidential candidate of some obscure party that has zero chance of success. Nigerians and our knack for self-promotion.

There are many presidential candidates in the last elections in Nigeria that no one remembers. She is that kind of candidate.

Even as that, she gets my respect. Getting up to do what you want to do against all odds is not for 'Chicken minds'!

This is serious! shocked shocked

This has to be the most hilarious news I've heard in a while, inviting a DJ to celebrate a sack grin grin cheesy

The woman must have been a real pain in the backside, but then again, this issue should be investigated properly.

I remember some years back when there were similar jubilations by SEC staff over the suspension of Madam Arunma Oteh. Investigations and insider reports later revealed that Oteh was only hated at the SEC because she blocked all the loopholes through which the staff embezzled funds.

God bless you!
I know Nigerians too well not to be moved by this celebration, I remember the celebration that followed a replacement of former commisioner for Education in Delta state some years back just because of the intensive inspection of the schools that she personally embarked on, she would visit a school early and any teacher that was late or absent was dealt with, even School Principals were not left out, they all hated her and she was eventually removed.

Years of curruption have eroded values, people want easy money, a normal mode of working in other countries is termed wickedness in Nigeria.

Numbers 1 and 4 are the real issues.

You want a woman smart enough to bring something good to the table but want her to be dumb enough to take all your bad attributes and keep on holding on to you in a lifetime commitment no matter what you do to her.

Who can do that? can you take that yourself?

I did not want to believe your story at first untill I saw this
''She came and stayed for a day and I know my mother always like to be the center of attention''

This is the exact characteristic of such women, I have an Aunt like that and I was so sure that there could not be any other person like her in this world, I just could not understand how someone would be like that, a mother for that matter!

This Aunt is so selfish that she prevented one of her children from supporting the younger one to go to University because according to her reasoning, the older child would then become more important to the younger child than her.The younger child ended up not going to School and she does not mind!

My dear, I love you and your siblings, you have done well. please hold each other tight, give your parents some disctance, resist responding to their outbursts, try and keep cool and just walk away, but take care of them, send money for their needs, that is your responsibility (at least in Africa and also supported by the Bible).

As long as ur card is linked to ur paypal account and there aren't any restrictions on ur account by PayPal. You should be able to send. I have used my PayPal account to give many donations in different countries including England which is in the UK.

I just finished speaking with first bank and was told that you cannot send money with First Bank card but can only pay for goods.

The error says 'This transaction cannot be completed'

Health / Re: Is it Possible for a AA genotype to give birth to SC.. Are They My Parents? by Shinatu: 4:55pm On Jun 26, 2015
I am an SC of over decades, my mum who was a midwife was so sure that she was an AA and it did not occur to her or the doctors to do a gynotype test for a long time after my crisis started, after it was done and it was discovered I was SC she was amazed.

Many people did not know the 'c' cell existed then and from what I have read ont this thread, many are still ignorant.

We all took it as a mistake that my mum did not know her real gynotype due to the fact that it was not commom, we never even thought of carrying out another test on my mum, the issue of who my mother was did not come up, I look like her anyway so there was no doubt.

The 'C' cell may not be an easy one to detect for ignorant laboratories, you may want to go for well established ones.

Never mind, your crisis will reduce and will not be intense anymore after sometime by God's grace.

Try Aveeno, if it remains thesame then do not bother any longer, that may just be her skin.
Protect her from too much sun, that may be challenging if she has started school.
kids skin colour change when they start school due to the exposure to the sun on the playing groun.

I will not be surprised if she ignores all this and still wants to marry the man.

Afterall she must marry.
