How can you accused me of being mischievous and sentimental when I innocently aired my views based on current realities? What you should understand is, it's best for our country when we praise our leaders when they do well to also advice them conscientiously well things don't seem to go well
Go thru my post again and answer the questions there, if you can answer them honestly you will undoubtedly realize you are being sentimental!
Politics › Re: Dear PMB, Please Redeploy Mrs Kemi Adeosun by abbey621(m): 9:42pm On Jan 12, 2016
Firstly, you've used the wrong medium. Only those who want to be mischievous utilize Nairaland to reach the Federal government! Next, you have no proof of your assertions only sentiments, yes you heard me right sentiments. When was she appointed? In what condition did she meet the economy? These are honest questions you should have answers to if you truly want to be honest. Last but not least, when criticizing someone or something, you must offer counter points in order to boost your assertions. What would you be doing differently if you were in her shoes? Do you have a background in Finance or Economics? Do you know how complex her job is? I know it's easy to criticize but let's not criticize just for criticism sake!

When PDP was in power

PDP stalwarts namely
Bode George went to prison ---Obasanjo's personal vendetta
Ibori is in prison---Obasanjo's handwork
FFK was in court for 8yrs---Never convicted
Joshua Dariye faced trial for money laundering----Never convicted
Alamieyeseigha faced trial for mney laundering---Evaded justice

election tribunals
Oshomhole got his mandate back from PDP govt in Edo state---Why was it stolen in the first place?
Mimiko then in labour party also got his mandate back
Opposition party won an election in a crisis free election in Osun State, Lagos State, OYO, Ogun and some Northern States---Can someone say delusional? Lagos, Ogun free of violence during election, what are you smoking?

can same be said of this APC/Buhari Govt?
Car Talk › Re: How Much Mileage Is Too Much Mileage? by abbey621(m): 2:36pm On Jan 12, 2016
Some vehicles were made better than others. You can't compare the durability of a Toyota to that of a Kia. A Toyota at 300,000 miles will more than likely outperform a Kia at 200,000 miles. Then you have to factor in maintenance history, has the transmission been replaced which means the odometer reading is not accurate and other important factors.

I'm glad you caught that lie, some people are just so easy to deceive.

Politics › Re: We Have Declared Ambode Enemy Of Ndigbo – Ohanaeze by abbey621(m): 5:01pm On Jan 11, 2016
Ohaneze is right, Ambode is now number 1 public enemy of Igbo republic of Lagos State, he is hereby relieved of his duties and we have elected Chief Dr. Kelechi Ogadima Uzor as the new Governor by the power conferred in us by the Biafran Constitution of 2015, we hereby also declare Lagos State aka (No man's land) as the capital of Igboland seeing as Igbos control over 90% of all economic activities in the state, long live Igboland, long live the republic.......signed Association of Dreamers and Frustrated Elders!

P.S. I know we said Nigeria is a zoo but when we said that, we obviously didn't mean Lagos State....Haba someone cannot play again grin grin grin

That is no excuse. Full time housewives get passes, too.
Maybe but not as much. Most of those ladies in the workplace really feel helpless because if they react they could be in trouble by their supervisor or customers might label them as rude. A full time housewife ain't got such problems!

Politics › Re: Jafaru Isa Returns N100million To EFCC by abbey621(m): 2:22pm On Jan 11, 2016
This is the true meaning of War on corruption. I'm really against jailing 50 to 70 year olds when we could just recover the loot and tarnish their image. We need more loot recovered but unfortunately some of those thieves would rather go to jail than to return our money.

Politics › Re: Soldiers Remove Veil From Muslim In Lagos‎ - The whistle by abbey621(m): 4:08pm On Jan 10, 2016
This is not news just some useless miscreants causing trouble. The FG cannot ban hijabs, the president is a faithful Muslim and knows the importance of the hijab for Muslim women. However the president can order the change in the length or size of hijabs. This will ensure Muslim women are able to exercise their rights while protecting the safety of the nation. A short hijab fulfills the same role as a long hijab when a Muslim woman is dressed properly so no need to stress!

Politics › Re: ‘Declare Faleke’s House Of Reps Seat Vacant’ by abbey621(m): 1:40pm On Jan 07, 2016
Awon ode, there's no law saying a sitting political officer must resign before contesting for another position. The only law that comes close is the one which instructs him to resign when sworn in for another position. Faleke can also claim the position of deputy governor is not an elected position but one hand picked by the governorship aspirant hence he's not violating any law.

There's a difference between being positive and outright delusion just as there's a difference between being negative and being a realist! If you've ever had the experience of struggling in the job market, you would appreciate what I'm talking about!

Habbba, That's not Fair!!! She will get a New job!!! even if she sobs over it, it won't bring back the job!!! instead she has chosen to be Happy and she is optimistic!!! so please drop the negativity...and be positive!!!
Throwing two parties because she got sacked is way more than being positive, sounds like someone in denial. I also pray that she gets a job soon because we all know lengthy unemployment can be very frustrating!

Someone stole Billions and some daft people are shouting due process, fair trial and so on. It is the same due process that allowed blatant corrupt individuals and groups to go free without any repercussions. How then can Nigeria prosper if stolen loots are not recovered from these people? How then do we deter future occurrences when our judiciary is weaker than a rain drop? We are talking about Billions here and some mofos are shouting tyrant, dictator....them swear for una? angry angry angry

No that's your opinion! I've equally seen people like that end up not getting what they deserved. Too many good people especially in Nigeria end up being overlooked and the cunny, manipulative, greedy go getters end up eating all the cake especially the National cake angry angry angry

And how does being sad about the current situation prevents this? What will be will be, why not be positive and hope for the best.
A difference between positivity and outright delusion exists! 2 parties for losing her job might come back to haunt her if the job search takes too long but you're right there's nothing wrong with being positive!
