Take her to an exceptionally cosy environment, with soft music playing just at the background, feed her with some creams and chocolate while telling her how much she really means to you. Then, look her in the eyes and tell her you can't go the whole hog of this life without her as your one and only companion. ASK HER TO MARRY YOU! |
October 28th is da sweet day if we are mates, let's meet |
I was just wondering what is romantic about this topic. Any way, the man is still on death row in the Ikoyi max. facility, waiting endlessly for the hangman's noose. it's just the brainwashed, overzealous converts that are using his name to hold the program in his |

@OziomaTV It is highly hypocritical of you to quote that Jesus and some of his disciples did not marry but you did not point out that they were not co-habiting nor jumping from one skirt to another. I,ve said it before that most pple castigate legal marriage, meanwhile they go into it illegally (no bride price, no nothing), so that at any slightest challenge, they'll run away. The Necessity of marriage is determined by you as an individual. it is never compulsory. if you don't want to be responsible to somebody else's life, good for you. But then, shun it with all it's benefits just like the good old Roman catholic priests. Never. repeat never judge the marriage institution because of what your uncle or neighbour is experiencing in theirs. Truth is 'HE that findeth a wife, findeth a good thing and obtaineth favour from the Lord' When u find one, u'll understand that life is indeed BEAUTIFUL! |
@Seun, The Administartor What do u really mean by that Opinion poll of voting either being for the victims or the thieves. Can any sensible person ever be in support of simple pick-pockets? not to talk of avowed agents of darkness who kill and maim innocent citizens just to 'hammer and drink champagne', like one of them gleefully posted here? Pls, i know u are wiser than this, yank off that poll options or better still, modify it. It insults people's sensibility. |
@blacklion NOKIA N95 8GB is about 102k at the NOKIA shop, Palms shopping mall. |
@Poster FIFA ratings are not based on the senior national teams alone, remember our youths are doing great, we just won a junior world cup, payed in the 2005 finals, and all other good performancesso that explains our top rating globally. But these Eagles are not Super at all any way. they're just 'guinea fowls', though we'll still qualify for the next round |
@Poster Nice question u asked. Let the Bible speak for itself, Your father received the free gift of eternel life by giving his life to Christ, that one is settled because salvation is not by works! The Bible says in the book of Timothy; if any man desire the office of a Bishop, he must be a husband of one wife. that means it is a qualification for leaders in the church, and also that polygamists should be content at being ordinary members of the body of Christ without any leadership role. So, no cause for alarm, bro. The lord has got your DAD's back covered! Most men of FAITH from Hebrew 11 are all polygamists; from father Abraham downwards. it's just that it's better to have 1 so u concentrate your love on her. Most pple will tell u ur dad won't make heaven bc they don't study their Bibles deep enough. Read those Timothy chapters urself and the TRUTH therein will set u free from anxiety. I hope u too has given ur life to Christ. It's the sweetest thing to do, and then ENJOY! |
2005: It was d day i proposed to my babygirl, the jewel i found in d savannah! We kissed as if there'll be no tomorrow! It's one of d sweetest moves i've ever made in this life! we're getting married this year! |
How do u expect the person to 'see' the love? Well, Love can be expressed in two ways; words and deeds. Have u tried both? Then, be persistent on what u want because some people might not take you serious initially, especially if they didn't feel the initial attraction like you did. That's why everybody is not everybody's 'friend'. Never have that impression that once you love somebody, the person must love you back, If after all your persistence, the person still does not reciprocate, channel your love to somebody else. afterall, 'Love no be by force'. abi? ![]() You know emotion is an energy, if it's not doing a useful work, it'll just be dissipated for nothing. |
@shoti What do u mean by 'obasanjo needs to be crucified like JESUS' if this symptom persists after 3days, see a Shrink! |

Believe me, whenever the inevitable disagreements occur in love relationships, whoever breaks the ice shows the greater maturity. Rem the bible says; never let d sun go down on ur anger! so, 1day max. |
@Poster You are fully married and entitled to all the privileges of marriage as far as the Bible is concerned!!! The first marriage in the Bible by the son of promise (Isaac) was contracted after the bride's (Rebecca) accepted the gifts (bride price) from father Abraham. Our problem here (in africa) borders majorly on colonialism, the white man made us believe all our cultures are balderash, so we found ourselves repeating the same process in two different cultures. Now as christians, the only addition is for the Pastor to pray/dedicate the couples whether in the church or in their house. But u know the wedding ceremony (church/reception) has become an avenue where couples kind of recoup part of their expenses, and also guests are feted, so it has come to stay!!! most folks have postponed marriage indefinitely bc of the fear of wedding ceremonies expenses( i believe all those are optional). |
@poster @Oziomatv Commitment-shy people are afraid, and will always be afraid of marriage. it's just that u don't want to be responsible to a steady family. responsibility is the key word. marriage is not for selfish irresponsible people who will want to enjoy all the benefits of marriage outside of it. tell yourself the truth! Take it or leave it, if u don't want to marry don't go near the opposite sex for conjugals or else it will hook you in the throat one day. If u make yourself an Eunuch, good for you. stop being a hypocrite! Sorry for some ladies who spend their youth frolicking with all manner of men, only to go beyond marriageable age and then start castigating marriages. You can't eat your cakes and have it, u know. |

There's nothing African about a man being the head of the family. That is the original plan for the whole of humanity! God created ADAM and gave him all the rules. even when he failed, he was still the head. You better get that into your skull so you can live a stress free life with your husband, instead of trying to be what you are not created to be. 'The downfall of a man is not the end of his life' ![]() |

The Elephant Can dance_ that's the title of a recent management book. I can tell u that our own elephant here is stomping out beautifully too! It's unarguably the most regenerated 'old generation' bank. check out the new top-of-the-range banking halls! Few yrs back the mgt used to have that attitude of soldier come, soldier go towards the staff but i tell u, that has changed completely. now they want to be the 'first' in everything! As am writing this, the staff renumeration just got reviewed. UPWARDS of course! |
yeah, we love shopping all the time together. Besides, am very good in that aspect of choosing tight stuff. May be i should start running a shopping consultancy firm( if there's anything like that) because i do that for most of my friends. To me, shopping is so much fun! |
First of all, did u meet in a bar I mean ur first meeting, was it in a guzzling competition?I don't think ur wife will just wake up one day and start hitting the bottle. has she been taking one or two initially and u thought it doesn't matter b4 going pro now or did u turn into a monster and she decides to embrace the bottle in order to forget her sorrows ![]() |
