I recently completed a course in their Ibadan branch, so I wouldn't outrightly agree with you based on experience with them here. However, I wouldn't suggest New Horizons in a list of 20 IT learning centers to attend as a newbie. If you're seasoned at what you do but wants to learn a new package to achieve same results, you're good.

It's been years of consistent coding now. Everything's super dope. Express algorithm development has had me thinking fast and suddenly don't find it easy relating with people who can't keep the pace. I've had a series of near Newton experience, genuinely argued I'd eaten when in reality I hadn't. A degree in computer science is a blast to it all, and I more than anything appreciate writing new projects almost everytime. Just like op hinted, dumping projects comes in easily - I blame influx of new ideas- and I pretty much don't like anything stale. Relationship? She's gonna have to be an hacker! Look up qualities of black hats... Programming itself doesn't cause as much explosion as system analysis does... The crazy thing? The passion just blinds the desire for the money... From console to desktop apps, to fullstack web apps and mobile apps. It's funny enough to mention data analysis, UI/UX, Modeling and the likes as an inclusion. At the end, time looks non-existent. Advice? Addiction is lovely a times yet, it's important to look around once a while and agree with a bit of nature. If you love philosophy, don't code... If you do, welcome to my cruise. It's an automatic accession into the ALIENs. All these downsides and many more will always make one wanna code the more. Hopefully, those codes'll hit some day...

They are basically the same thing, but coding refers to the actual writing or typing of the codes, while programming refers to everything from planning, designing, researching, flowcharting, alogarithm to testing and debugging, just my two cents.

Research survey can be viewed in diverse perspectives. Regardless, much focus would be drawn to undergraduates and postgraduates who intend running a survey (questionnaire) driven study.
It is important to note here that some amount of effort will be needed to achieving optimum results even with the scheme I'm about to discuss, wisdom is key.

Disseminating questionnaire -from experience- could be a very challenging phase of a research study especially when with a broad scope of study. In most cases, a number of disseminated questionnaires are either not returned, damaged or missing. When combined with distance barrier, this phase becomes a bit tiring.

Also, Survey Coding can be intense especially when the questionnaire variables are much and respondents capacity is large.

Finally, Cost...!! This is Nigeria, everyone's trying to make ends meet. Cost of printing, transportation, stress and time can be overwhelming (especially when there's an examination in view)

HOW TO KNOW A PROGRAMMED OR MANIPULATED CARD READER....

Party agents should take note of the following as they get to the polling units.

1. Agent must arrive to your polling units as early as possible, at least before accreditation begins. Once accreditation begins, you won't be able to detect a manipulated card reader.

2. Upon arrival to your polling units, agent must verify the card reader brought to your unit for the election. Identify the Presiding Officer (PO) for your unit, and request him to present the card reader to the agents onground.

3. Request the PO to put on the Card Reader (if it is not already on), and request him/or her to click on "query icon" on the smart card reader.

4. Check that the card reader shows zero "0" upon clicking the query icon. If it shows zero, it is okay to be used for accreditation. If it shows any other figure before comencement of accreditation, the card reader has been pre programmed.

5. If confirmed that a figure other than "0" is displayed, agent should raise alarm and inform agents of other parties, and no accreditation should take place in that unit until the card reader is cleared.

Please this is very important as rigging in any election starts from the polling unit.

Agents should be smart enough not to miss these Steps...

Cool, however this procedure must be followed with or without the party agents' request. The P.O is mandated to undertake the procedure alongside showcasing an empty ballot box.

Our CS Curiculum is 80% Maths am still wondering whether am studying Maths as a course or Computer science.
But guess what Maths is almost the Base of Computer science. You will see more of algorithms which you can blueprint with pseudocodes then implement with the programming of your choice than programming itself.
So dont think lecturers will teach you how to code, you should do that on your own.
But Computer science is so cool that you can apply it to any field of study.
So go ahead with your Maths and learn coding with your spare time or holidays. Who knows you might be our own Linus <linux>!
A math student who knows programming tends to be better than a typical Csc student in some areas like algorithm implementation and design. But not at all times.

I would have agreed with you 10years ago when computing shared close boundaries with mathematics! Today, as much as mathematics is the basics of everything, there is a very clear dichotomy... I wish it was all about programming...
