Please, I need advice from people whose businesses have failed and we're able to scaled through the situation because I am in a deep mess and as helpless as a small fish in a dangerous ocean. I am 44 years old married with four great kids. A graduate of chemical engineering, I had schools ( both primary and secondary) till September 2022 which folded up and ever since then, my life has been a miserable one. I have been trying to secure job with no positive result. I am beckoning on kind hearted Nigerians to kindly help me with a job so I can provide for my family and reposition my life. Please pardon me for any grammatical error because I am not in the right frame of mind, my situation is so pathetic and i don't want to bother you with the details. Thank you At 44, it is pretty hard... But, the first thing to do is to calm down for you to think straight. Let's start by me asking, what made your school fold up? There is always something else to do. This is what I can help you with if you have a laptop, I will teach you how to help students sought for schools in Canada and secure the admission... Student will pay you for that Then, teach you how to as well help them to get student loan... you get paid for that. Then finally, how to help them apply for their study permit which you also get paid for. If you can build a biz around this, I believe you should be fine in no time. I hope you are good at marketing yourself sir. This is the hallmark of any business |

Emperormartin: We were childhood friends as we were born and brought up in the same area. University Education took us apart. He joined a frat in his Campus and as story have it during one of their cult initiation process on an inductee a mild drama happened; the new inductee died at the spot.
The parents of the new inductee took the case up and the school authorities rallied and produced the cultists that were involved which my friend was among.
My friend has been incarcerated since 2009 in our state prison though I heard the case is still on awaiting trial; i can't really confirm.
I just have that urge to visit my friend at least for once but I don't know how the outcome will look like.
Any tips from my fellow nairalanders I love your kind of friend... But please, stay away!!! If you had visited him in 2019 or 2020, it would hv bn fine Trust me, you'll lack the right words to say and you don't know how much prison has changed gim after 3yrs. mradjoy: The previous thread: https://www.nairaland.com/7713767/udensi-ngozi-opemipo-missing-seen#123550647
I'd like to use this medium to appreciate everyone who empathize with us, those who prayed with us and those who called me from this forum without knowing who I am to offer some valuable advice which partly contributed to her returning back home yesterday on her own volition.
My sincere appreciation goes out to Seun Osewa who swiftly swung into action by moving the thread to the Frontpage immediately after I contacted him.
And to that wonderful journalist who contacted me from The Punch News, they offered to publish it and use their connection to contact the Lagos CP to expedite action on my niece's search.
Lastly to those set of people who's got warped mindset, always thinking every little girl we have in Nigeria are wayward, well, it's not really your fault because if you know how brilliant my niece is, you wouldn't doubt her purity at such tender age. I read so many unruly comments here, but decided to ignore majority of them because I believe it's almost impossible for a brilliant little girl like her, who had near perfect WAEC result at one sitting, and also scored over 300 in JAMB to be wayward at the same time. If you have her as your sister or daughter would you ever have the thought of waywardness towards her?
She had a quarrel with her aunt while her mom was at work, so she decided to punish everybody according to her by leaving the house for them.
She'd initially planned to seize the opportunity to visit her paternal grand parent in Imo state, but on getting to the park, she couldn't afford the fare, she had to go visit her friend somewhere in Ijegun, Lagos instead of heading back to Bariga. I believed her because the tracking result we got from the private tracking guy we employed showed exactly the same thing she'd earlier narrated.
Up until now I never knew there was a tracking system that gives precise location, the street name, the house number, even to the room you're, this tracking system is so effective and powerful to the point of tracking mobile number even when it's switched off.
Now, I was wondering why can't FG use same or better technology to combat insurgency in Nigeria?
So cutting the long story short, we decided to send her a text msg containing those information we gathered about her whereabout and she knew the game was up and decided to call her aunt, then her mom to inform them she was heading home already.
We're happy and glorify God for her safety. Thanks and God bless you all. Glad she is safe and sound... That was so wrong of her to do. I don't even know maybe I should say you should reprimand her for this... But before she we decide to 'punish' you guys again. Lol Glad you found her... |

Romance › Re: "Na Human Meat": What I Heard At A Meat Table In The Market. by dawnomike(m): 4:06pm On Jun 03, 2023 |
elated177: I hungered for some red mean, so I decided to go to the market and get some. On getting to the market, I walked straight to the young man who, on one or two previous occasions, had sold meat to me in the past.
While I was checking the pieces of meat displayed on his table and enquiring and negotiating their prices, what I heard next shocked me: "Na human meat". It was subtle and echoed at the same time.
I looked up from the meat and looked at the meat seller, you know trying to ascertain what he said, but he didn't look or act like he made such comment. So, I returned my attention to the pieces of meat on the table and continued negotiating the price.
I heard the same thing again: "Na human meat". Again, I looked up from the table and looked at the meat seller, but this time I enquired from him what he said. "Wetin you talk?", I asked. "Nothing", he replied. I finished the negotiation, bought some meat from him and went home.
My mind was unsettled throughout my journey home. I was just looking at the meat with disgust when I was about to wash it. I felt like throwing up. The "na human meat" echoed in my mind.
What do you think transpired at the meat table? Do you think I actually heard what I said I heard? Was it hallucination?
I know what transpired at that meat table. I know the meaning of what happened there and will put it down here. But, I want to get the views of others, especially those who may have experienced such thing. Leave religion aside... always listen to the soft voice in your head! |
Car Talk › Re: Nigerians Should Shift To Diesel Engine Vehicles To Weather This Subsidy Removal by dawnomike(m): 4:02pm On Jun 03, 2023 |
I came back from Cameroon few days ago. I discovered that in Cameroon, they use mostly Diesel engine vehicles. Cars, SUVs, Buses and Lorries. I also discovered that prices of PMS (Petrol) and AGO (Diesel) at filling stations are CFA 730 and CFA 720 respectively meaning that AGO also called Diesel is a bit cheaper than PMS (Petrol). I asked from a Cameroonian friend who attended same training with me why they used mostly diesel vehicles and he told me AGO (Diesel) is far cheaper than petrol, diesel vehicles are stronger in their hilly terrains while going up North from Yaounde the country's capital and that diesel gives more mileage than petrol i.e. the same liters of diesel will cover more kilometers than petrol on the same vehicle type. I think Nigerians can do a gradual shift from petrol cars to diesel cars. The excuse has always been no diesel mechanic, no parts, diesel is expensive etc, I want to believe that with time, all the challenges will disappear as I know Nigerians will solve all these in no time if there is business along the diesel way. I also believed that the labour movement in Nigeria apart from strike and all these talk about opposition to subsidy removal should begin to challenge oil marketers on why diesel is more expensive than petrol here. I have been thinking seriously about this since tuesday when the present fuel issue started, cheers.
You shared my thoughts |
Car Talk › Re: Is This Another Era For Diesel & A Come Back Of Diesel Engine? by dawnomike(m): 3:59pm On Jun 03, 2023 |
fineboynl: Over the years diesel engine for cars in Nigeria had a setback due to the deregulation of that product. Many Nigeria couldn't keep up with the price one needs to fill a diesel tank. Many deisel engine were converted to gas as people tried to avoid diesel engine.
Diesel engine tend to be efficient is economy and power but the price gap between fuel was not encouraging. Many local modular refineries focus on refining diesels because of the price.
Diesel engine suffered a setback in Nigeria as price of diesel engine car drop down significantly. Many importer stop importing diesel engine because of low demands e.g the voswagine golf.
But with the recent fuel increase which bring the gap closers between diesel and petrol, is the policy is anything to go by then it might be another era for diesel engine, diesel engine has more power and fuel efficiency than petrol engine. I was thinking about this yesterday... |

DataCrab: Long story short, I'm 21 and I saw this fine lady on codedrunz yesterday, chatted her up and we agreed to meet at a hotel later today. I'm very excited because it's going to be my first time having sex but at the same time I'm scared of fu*king up. Anytime I masturbate, I no dey use up to 3 minutes before I don release so I'm very worried of the same scenario playing out later tonight, I don't want the girl to feel I'm a novice because she's five years older than me, I don't want her to be looking at me like a small boy...
Should I just tell her plain that I'm a virgin in advance so that she wouldn't be of high expectations or I should just lock up. I bought some sex enhancers but I'm scared of using them because of the negative things I've heard about them.
Please I need your advice It will be quite unfortunate that your first will be an Olosho... Think twice |
