I wish I could get this electric wheelchair for my six year old cerebral palsy son, carrying him up and down is a humongous task.
I empathise with you as I feel so touched. I really wish I have the capacity to do this for you.. to buy the chair.
May God open doors of favor unto you. May he grant you amazing grace and surprise you with his blessings. It will be made possible in a marvellous way.

God bless your son.

What happened to TeHN by the way. It was a wonderful way of raising funds to help people in critical situations.

The members of their constituencies are also broke. They should go back home to see how they can improve on their local economies to boost the Federal purse.

One house of parliament is enough. There are too many mouths to feed as things stand. It's time to come up with great ideas to make life easier for all of us.

. That thunder is close to you.

Residents of Jiddari Polo in Maiduguri, Borno state capital, are currently running for cover following an attack launched by Boko Haram fighters.

The attack happened hours after President Muhammadu Buhari paid a condolence visit to the people of the state over the killing of 30 persons on Sunday.

Crime › Re: Ibrahim Idris: Alfa Rapes 3 Daughters Of Couple Who Housed Him Free For 7 Years by delpee(f): 9:59am On Feb 12, 2020
Nothing new really. Women should learn never to entrust their girls to ANY man other than their father (barring paedophile dads). Alfas and Pastors are human beings like everyone else.

I hope that the judge can hear from the children in private with all parties in attendance. They shouldn’t be exposed publicly. Too traumatic and unsafe in my opinion. It may also discourage others from coming forward.

I pray that these girls recover fully.

PrimadonnaO:
After you and your wife have explained to him that doing the laundry is a chore both male and female should be able to do very well, make sure he sees you as many times as possible on your subsequent laundry sessions.

If you find your neighbours doing their laundry or spreading their clothes, show him. But very importantly, start getting him to take care of his own laundry... washing a handkerchief, his boxers/pants, etc. A child can always be re-psyched.
@Op
The earlier, the better too. He can wash a few of his personal items at 4 years. You build on it as he grows older.

There’s no need to worry. What he gets used to doing from a tender age becomes routine for him. He’ll see it as normal even when others say otherwise. Teach your child the way he should go. He will not depart from it.

DonMustafa:
I think a law should be passed where state governments should use from the security vote given to them to support affected business people when there is a fire outbreak. It will help to get them started again since insurance is not popular in Nigeria.
Rather, we should make insurance popular. It's the best way forward.

May God replenish them and mitigate their losses. Amen

In the Civil Service, you obey before you complain. You hardly win a case once disobedience is involved. She shouldn’t have refused to collect the letter. It’s an offense under Civil Service code of conduct.

She should accept and then work towards changing her posting to a more favorable place on medical grounds. She’ll retire within 3 years anyway.

It’s unfortunate but she shouldn’t push her rejection further to avoid disciplinary action which could affect her retirement plans. God in His mercy will help her win the battle.

Politics › Re: Sociocultural Aspect Of Education In Northern 9ja. by delpee(f): 10:20pm On Feb 08, 2020
It’s a great pity! When the entitlement mentality is activated in anyone, the ability to strive towards success diminishes very fast.

Southerners know that they have to work hard to achieve results. Until recently when easy money became the fad, we understood perfectly that there’s dignity in labor. Parents sold personal belongings to send their kids to school in the past. Many children also did one job or the other to make ends meet. It’s unfortunate that many Northern youths don’t like to go the extra mile. Yet, there are many intelligent minds there who only need to seize the many opportunities in their region to excel.

Politics › Re: Help Stop Nigerian Church’s From Taking Hardworking Nigerians January Salary by delpee(f): 9:38pm On Feb 07, 2020
When you read your Bible for greater understanding and you're led by the spirit, you don't need a Pastor to tell you what to do. Most people do things blindly and therefore may not fulfill their purpose as desired.

First fruit offering is based on agricultural produce which is what existed mainly in Biblical days. The method is clearly defined and doesn't directly translate into giving up your whole salary only to beg throughout the following month.

People need to seek knowledge, have greater understanding and pray for wisdom. (All stated in the Bible). Pastor is not God. We all have equal abilities to excel spiritually though we may have different natural gifts/talents.

Use of onions, iru, ogiri, dawadawa, crayfish and other spices will serve the same purpose with less sodium.

Lagos State for instance has a security trust fund. I believe they'll have similar ones set up in the other states.

Politics › Re: Occupy Lagos Protests Against Okada Ban During Lagos Marathon by delpee(f): 11:32am On Feb 06, 2020
That's a protest against a law which has been in place since 2012 or thereabout. They can only go to court I guess.

All that the Governor is doing is law enforcement. The fact that the previous governor tolerated lawlessness does not make it right for us to continue living that way. Besides the security challenge must be addressed by the Governor who is the CSO of the state.

I empathise with those who have lost their means of livelihood. However, it's wise to understand the applicable laws for a business before venturing into it.

It's been a daily nightmare on our roads lately too. Still, we have to be alive before anything else can be done.

A lawyer knows that he can’t call anyone who has not been tried and convicted a criminal. He can only allude to the fact as he has done. People are free to research and form their opinion.
