Taking pictures in a mechanic village might send wrong signals. Take note.

TravelRe: Welcome To Ibadan City (pictures) by Femsyn(m): 9:46pm On Jan 06, 2016
I don't need pictures to tell me Ibadan is a beautiful city. In fact, i was there last Christmas, and believe me, i was blown away! Ibadan can rival most parts of Lagos conveniently. Please don't talk out of sentiments or political affiliations. Ventura Mall, in particular, was spectacular, especially at night. talk about the bowling alley, the array of games, the cinema... world class! Majority of the roads have been expanded and clean.

Cool place... Not bad at all. You should pay a visit.

P.S.: The brown roofs still exists, but that doesn't mean great, awesome things are not happening in Ibadan.

"They were paid the Naira equivalent". This is good news for the economy. Government spend in dollars as if its our legal tender. Nice one
PoliticsRe: What Do You Think About My Boss' Parable? by Femsyn(m): 9:07am On Dec 15, 2015
When you keep doing the same thing and expect a different result, then, you are gradually running mad. We finally have someone who has decided to do things differently, yet we're complaining and typing warped parables. While, it could be tough now, I think i'd rather give the change agent the benefit of a doubt, until he gets his budget approved and implemented.
PoliticsRe: Obiano Donates Patrol Cars To Police In Anambra (Photos) by Femsyn(m): 7:49pm On Dec 11, 2015
Nigerian journalists are one of the main problems of this nation. Who donated? Obiano or the Anambra State Government?

When they make it look like the governors are their own island, Why won't they misbehave?

FamilyRe: My Husband Has Idolised Me And Now I'm Fed Up. Need Help by Femsyn(m):
This shouldnt have been brought to frontpage. Too many silly kids online these days.

Back to topic; i would rather advise that you should be careful with "having a conversation with him". While it seems like the only way out, i fear it might turn him to something else, and backfire. Still, i must be sincere with you that, i doubt if he would ever change to that kind of man you desire.

I feel your pain, and i understand your husband's behaviour is not normal. There are some attributes that should be for the man of the house, likewise, the woman. The roles are clearly spelt out. Unfortunately, in your own case, there seem to be a role reversal.

You are an ideal woman, and i think you should keep praying for him, cos i feel, by trying to fine-tune him, he might overdo it.
CareerRe: Feeling Used And Dumped! by Femsyn(m): 3:40pm On Nov 13, 2015
Typical Nigerian entrepreneurs whose businesses are afloat through bank loans. Yet they are first to announce to the whole world how they have 50 staff UNDER them, but find it difficult to pay salaries.

Fact is, most entrepreneurs in Nigeria makes it look as if they are doing employees a favour by giving them their rights. Its pathetic!!! Yet, they gallivant everywhere as though all is well.

My dear sister, you'll have to move on, as it has become a norm.

7-8 out of 10 graduates working for entrepreneurs are often owed. Sometimes for months, such that employees would have to forgo the owed salaries for another place. And the cycle continues.

ALL I KNOW IS THAT ABOUT 80% OF SONGLE, MATURED AND WORKING INDIVIDUALS ARE REALLY NOT OK BEING SINGLE, SO YOU CAN GO ON AND CONSOLE YOURSELF WHILE DECEIVING THE LADIES.
Yes, possibly! But you don't have to force it down their throats, like you're any better. Personally, i feel we are not all meant or designed to be married.
FamilyRe: The Stigmatisation Of Unmarried/single Working Adult Nigerians by Femsyn(m):
[author=akeensbussy post=39695794]The Issue of Singles and unmarried is not particular to our society alone. Even abroad, there are benefits that are accrue to you if you are married which singles/unmarried can not benefit from.

The reasons people believe you must marry when u are working or when u are of that age.

1. When you are married, the way you take decision before will change.
This has absolutey nothing to do with marriage. Yes, your itinerary might change, but most times, what you couldn't change as a single might be difficult to change when married.

2. Responsibility has come.
What responsibility? Tell that to a first born who still finances his younger ones and parents. Yes! he's single, but your responsibility as a married person isnt even close.

3. Waste of Resources will stop.
This is a personality issue. Marriage wont change it! arrrgh!!!

4. your excesses will be control by someone.
OMG! Check 3

5. Your Thinking will change.
What foolish thinking? its still down to personality. I have a friend who got married jobless, at first it took me as a surprise, but i kept quiet, because i'm not one of those Nigerian busy-bodies, who dont mind their business; so i wished him well. He currently lives in his in-law's house, the wife fends for the family (they now have a child), she also finances his education, PGD (graduated with a 3rd class). Recently (2years after), he said something to a friend, which made me realise why he got married when he did. He said, "hey bro, when are you getting married, don't you know there's time for marriage?" Then i asked him, "oh! you mean, there's a particular time a man MUST get married?". He said YES!

One question, has this friend of mine's thinking gotten better or worse?

6. You will be taking serious because you are now serious. etc
Watery point.

I may not be able to explain further but I believed those that are married will understand my points.

P.S.: WHILE YOU THINK ONLY MARRIED PEEPS WILL UNDERSTAND YOUR "VERY DIFFICULT" POINTS, I'M A MARRIED PERSON WHO BELIEVES IN, "LIVE AND LET LIVE"

Beautiful and thought-provoking. Don't be an ingrate. Know that, the fact that people are nice doesn't mean they are fools, they are often one step ahead; they only prefer not to pull the plug when you least expect it.

The Step-father's speech tho... Priceless!!!

One question for the Igbos... What side of the divide are you? Your so-called "zoo" or Biafra?

Quite a lot aren't clear yet.

yep, this world is full of uncertainties and dis is africa. I dont want a situation where she wont be able to get pregnant after the wedding.
And what is the guarantee that the woman must be the cause of infertility??
The rate of male infertility is pretty high too these days, so don't get it twisted @all.

RomanceRe: Ladies, What Is Your Take On Jobless Guys Who Chase You? by Femsyn(m): 8:19am On Oct 21, 2015
OP is very right. Beyond accusing a girl of being a gold digger and not being supportive of a jobless girl-chaser, i think its highly irresponsible for a jobless kiddo to go about chasing irrelevancies, instead of focusing on his future.

If they were dating before graduation and job search, then thats different. But, jobless and chasing pants is a NO NO. I'd rather advocate you maintain just a platonic, no strings attached friendship with the woman of your dreams, pending when you're stable.
FamilyRe: What A Man Needs Most From A Woman Is Not Sex! by Femsyn(m): 10:12am On Sep 25, 2015
Nice write-up. Couldn't have said it any better. This is the same reason, virgins think their state of celibacy will give them all they desire. Like you rightly said, every woman has a vagina, tight or loose (someday, soon, a virgin's vagina won't be as tight as it used to be), but very few has the spirit of submissiveness.

N.B: Chastity is awesome and I preach it, but hey, it doesn't end there.

FamilyRe: Please, I Need Tips For My Marriage Introduction Ceremony by Femsyn(m): 1:55pm On Sep 15, 2015
Maximum amount you're likely to spend is 15k or less (excluding the clothes u'll both wear). Get two baskets (raffia or plastic-made baskets). One containing all sorts of fruits you can lay your hands on (some say there's a specific number you buy), but don't worry, no one is going to bother counting. Fruits like oranges, apples, mangoes, paw-paw etc will do. Then for the second basket, get wines, biscuits, packs of sweets, juice etc.
After these, ensure you have enough change (N50s/N100s) to give the drummers/alaga and iyawo-iles.
FamilyRe: Please, Advise Poor People To Stop Bringing Innocent Children To Suffer On Earth by Femsyn(m): 7:35am On Aug 31, 2015
Harsh, but couldn't have said it any milder to get the message across.

Children are blessings; but why risk your own happiness and purpose of existence for a bunch of avoidable responsibilities?

While hoping that the children will somehow grow to become successful (this also happens), either by hook or crook, they would've become old and miserable, while realising they've spent most of their years hustling, without "enjoying" life as it were.

From another angle, @least, for the sake of a poor couple's future and fulfilling God's plan for their lives, they shouldn't derail that plan for uncertainty, by living for their children for the rest of their miserable lives.

PLEASE, LIVE and NOT JUST EXIST!
FamilyRe: Female Problems - Why Sweet/nice Guys Seldom Win by Femsyn(m):
Funny how after falling for the said "thug", you then come online and start complaining how he womanizes, violent and uncommitted. There are issues counselling can't solve, and you must really be dedicated, for prayers to solve what just common sense would've sorted out easily.
FamilyRe: Marrying An INTROVERT by Femsyn(m):
To be with an introvert, is to live your life for them, else she sways away and things might get bad. You must be ready to defend and give her a soft landing @ all times, especially to family and friends who might take her introvertedness as being proud or a snub.

Get this straight, this is Africa! a married introvert will surely have problems relating with the extended family; cos with the way they operate, they operate expecting people to warm up to them first, other than the other way around. They usually take their time in decision making (which also includes, making friends). This is to avoid getting hurt by those who don't understand them enough. They are verrry emotional.

Patience is key here, as she's likely to rely on you for most things, including her thought-process.
