According to the Voice of America (VOA), Sabalo, who was also known as Pai Grande, or Big Dad, was a popular polygamist. However, 125 of the children predeceased him, leaving him with 156 surviving children and 250 grandchildren.

Pai Grande, who died at the age of 73 after battling prostate cancer for over a year, was initially taken to the country’s capital city of Luanda as well as other places for treatment, but was returned home when his condition worsened to ensure that “if God called him, at least he would die beside the children and their mothers,” one of his sons said.

A dedicated family man and respected personality in his community, Pai Grande was described as “a complete human being” who was an advocate for education. Speaking to VOA in 2015, Sabalo, who said it was his wish for some of his children to take up careers in science and technology, revealed he spent over $1,500 on school supplies annually.

Three of his daughters currently are studying medical sciences and two sons are learning computer science, all at the high school level.

Tributes from other family and community members also poured in during the funeral, with his first wife vowing to do everything she can to keep the family together as per her husband’s wish.

“I will do anything to keep his children fed and OK,” she told VOA.

Pai Grande’s family live on subsistence farming, growing crops and rearing livestock. They also generate revenue from their sales.

He was “a complete human being” who prized family and championed education, one speaker said during the service, held beneath sun-screening canopies on arid Giraul do Meio, known locally as Mungongo Island, near the southern port city of Namibe.

I am in a dilemma worsened by this covid19.

I am a graduate male of 29 residing in the East. I still squat with a friend, not because I don't have money for house rent. But principally because I have been unable to figure out what I want to do with my life, hence renting a house feels like a commitment that might get me stuck.

I always feel I might move anytime soon-- to either another state or abroad for masters or just practice of my profession. Note that I didn't study a STEM course.

All these while squatting, I have been saving via my proceeds from hustles.

In the wake of this COVID19, I checked all my banks and found out that money I have in my account has lost so much value given the dollar rate.

I have 11.4 million, inclusive of my working capital, plus a rickety car valued at 350k. Each time, I need just 3-5m as working capital.

It seems that trying to save more is false economy and might be counter productive.

NOW, I AM CONSIDERING buying a plot of land and erecting a small house even if it's 3 rooms. This, I think will serve as investment that will keep appreciating and also serve as residence.

Or just open a domiciliary account to hedge against naira fall and continue saving.

From my own point of view, if you want to buy land, it's a good idea rather than savings and the money will be depreciating

But you have to decide where you want to buy the land

Lagos is OK, if you reside in lagos

Get a plot of land, build a mini flat like three sets and put it up for rent then you take one for yourself

You can build by the back and corner portion of the land and keep the middle /front for your own main building

If you have 11m, you can achieve upto complete roofing with 7m

I will advise you go straight to building than fencing, fencing a land is equivalent to building a bungalow after building, you fence if you want

With time you plan for your self what you want the main building to be or how you want it to be

Dollar is rising because CBN are not selling this period and all the horders are using the opportunity sell high to make money this period

Once you have money at hand, it's valuable depreciates but the moment you put it into building, it appreciates

Is like buying a car, once you drive out a car from the show room, the value deprecates but as it is in the showroom or car marts, it has its value

Forget about buying cars, people will put eyes on you because of your age

And pls remember, build in silence, the world is a bad place you don't know who is genuinely happy with you and for you

Normally, for vaginal births, it takes up to three months so that the left over clotted bloods would have gone out and the womb would have set in properly and her body system getting back to normal

For those with CS, it may take longer due to the fact that her stomach stitches can be bruised and that's not a good one to withness

In all, a woman should know when she is set but giving then time up to that minimum of three months, helps to erase any issues health wise
