I'm going to make this brief.

I met this lady few weeks ago during the lockdown. Sje happen to be a neighbour, I later discovered she is our landlady's daughter and she stays in one of our flat.

It all started when I noticed she is the cool type who doesn't associate with anyone and always indoor and only see her when she's wants to get something. She is curvy and cute.

This happened to my very close friend and she's confused whether she should take him back or not.
She met him three months ago and they started dating the second day they met each other. The guy just recently broke up with his ex who he had been dating for more than a year at that time. He was heartbroken because the girl he was dating left him because things weren't really going well for him like it used to.
Back to his relationship with my friend,a week after they started dating he started pestering her for sex and she was a virgin so she was really scared to lose her virginity to him. Good evening daddies and mummies .

I just beat my 2-year old son with a belt(beat him on his bum bum) .After beating him,I asked him to go inside the room and lie down while I off the bedroom light and locked the door .I discovered he was breathing so fast on the bed when i checked two minutes later .He was crying and keep banging the bedroom door for us to open.He kept on crying .So,i have to tell his mum to carry him and pet him.

When i went to sitting room to pick something ,he didn't even want to come near me .He kept on dragging his mum cloth thinking I still want to beat him .Infact,he refused to come to bedroom .He cried and keep telling her mum to put her down when she was about entering the room with him.

He is fond of throwing spoon,pencil,cups,plates ,biscuit,cup,plates and tonight ,he threw a water plastic at me and that hit me on my eye and I felt so much pain .So,I had to beat him that much .He is asleep now .

I just want to ask if it is right to beat him at that age or what other measure can we adopt to discipline him?We used to talk to him and sometimes ,he says sorry when he notices he have done something wrong .

Disciplining of a child starts as early as 1yr when he can understands when you talk

Beating a child is good but not all the time you beat him

Get a Cain not a belt

Seat him down and talk to him and let him know that you will not tolerate nonsense from him because he is already two years

Let him see the Cain amd understand that the Cain is for him amd you will beat him very well anytime he misbehaves

You amd your wife ha e to team up to make this work

Don't beat him all the time, you can give him punishment like knell down and hands up

You can restrick him to what we call naughty corner, get a space in your house where he did stay alone without toys if he behaves naughty

They hate their freedom being restricted so keep him there for over one hour and you will see him cry for freedom

Then if you must beat him do that when it's necessary amd make sure you beat him in the bum bum or on his palms so that you don't spoil his skin

Get an exercise books and teach him how to start holding pencil to write because he is due for schooling

Get a nursery rhymes video for him or teach him how to watch kids stations where they sing nursery rhymes

All this will keep him busy from being naughty

Am happily married with two girls. My husband is very simple and understanding. He is playful and loving father. I have been in peace with my husband all along.

Due to our financial stand, we anchored to stop at the two. Though, I got pregnant again for our third which was not planned.

The scan result revealed a girl child. And since then, my husband's mood has changed, not because is the third child but a girl. As for the cooking at home, I’m the better cook and it’s easy for me so it’s not a problem doing it. Then the errands - the baby feeds frequently and everything about the baby is so demanding (the child is very active and needs more supervision than usual). We don’t have any help. It would be near impossible for her to juggle taking care of the baby and running errands while I’m working full time with no help. It’s not practical. I think being practical with situations should come first before we talk about roles.

And her activity levels are up because she does a lot of chores - baby and ours inclusive. She’s not lazy - just a little laid back and that’s more of an attitude thing than actionable choices. Trust me, I understand our situation better and I’m in the best position to make judgement on what’s suitable.

Hey guys. I could use a little perspective on something that’s been bothering me. Got married for a little over a year now and I have a kid. The baby is not up to a year yet. The crux of the matter is my wife started stress eating after she delivered. Her weight was normal after delivery so it wasn’t as a result of the pregnancy. After delivery, she started eating a lot of junk. She wasn’t staying with me then - she was with her folks. Her eating wasn’t supervised.

Now she came back all fat and bigger than normal. When we dated, she knows my stance on being overweight. I have a special dislike for fat or thick girls. They always look lazy and clumsy and I’ve never been attracted to a fat lady.

Now she’s overweight. She looks way older than I am and I don’t know how to force myself to be attracted to her. When I see pictures of men and their wives looking fit, it makes me wish that was me.

We haven’t taken any picture together in up to six months. She hasn’t taken any either. I can’t post her on my social media because I’m not proud of the situation.
