Please investigate first before you dive in fully. Get information from other people aside her mum/family. If you dig, you will find out the true situation and decide if you should still go ahead.

Those ones that always scream "simp" rather than use their brains to analyse a situation?

We all know they are not the real deal. They are just Nairaland Resident Noise makers. Redpill is more than what they project here.
Family › Re: How Do You Tell Your First Wife You Married Another Wife? by ImaIma1(f): 1:37pm On May 24, 2022
Buje1987:
Has the 2nd wife given birth yet or she never born?
Number one let the 2nd wife born first before telling the first wife due to some experiences.
Has the 2nd wife got pregnant yet?
What have you the assurance the 2nd wife is fertile also?
Giving babies is not in the power of the first wife. God does that and don’t you have faith in your wife or God anymore?
Don’t you read news of couples staying together 10,20,30 years and no kids and still love each other and later God does wonders in their lives?. I will advise your friend wait until the 2nd wife gives birth first. He can’t face his wife but he can lay cheapishly on another woman. He should face his consequences by himself and tell his wife but if he be Yoruba the first wife shouldn’t know until ur new wife gives Birth
That will be worse. He gets married and keeps it from her for months. He tells her only after the second wife gives birth. Why? To mock her?

It's bad enough that he got married without her knowledge, but for him to keep that information for months while they are living together, means she has been sleeping with the enemy.

Most times, I pack my load and he goes to drop us at my sister's place. I can't shout. We fight more when we are apart especially when his trip is extended.

But when school is still in session, I'm stuck because kid has to go to school.

So I can relate. It's never a time I look forward to at all. I'm so used to being together.

Insult is deliberately comparing something that's actually bad which isn't, but my opinion about women isn't an insult.I'm only describing them.
At 19 what do you know about women? You just join the bandwagon of women bashers because it's bound to make you popular faster and the redpillers will identify with you.

I've always known that guys that have insultive fingers are kids.

I swear ma’am so accurate… it gives you the sweetest feeling when they newly start to walk but then you have to really watch them at all times…
It can be pleasurably exhausting. My 2nd is just 7months and she already holds things to get up and move around. She's so excited to be on her feet but that means more watching for me.

Roasted yam and plantain
Career › Re: 8 Things You Need To Survive As A Banker by ImaIma1(f): 1:01pm On May 23, 2022
Mystery2020:
1. Extraversion
You must be an extrovert, period. The Nigerian banking industry has zero tolerance for non-outgoing personality types. If you are not, make sure you are well connected both within and without.

2. Small talk
You must like small talks and gossips, and actively engage in them. Otherwise you yourself will become the subject of gossips by your colleagues and it will be difficult for you to change the narrative.

3. Flirty
This is very important especially if you are male. The women in this industry, both married and single are sex-starved and they always appreciate men that have regular erections. The last thing you want is for all the ladies in your office to gang up against you.
As a lady, you must be ready to receive anything from a hug, hands on your waist, neck or shoulder, to a kiss, even dick.

1, 2 & 3 are very important to avoid being tagged "lifeless". Once you have this tag, everything you do will be irritating to your boss and coworkers.

4. A$$ Licking
The industry is like a mafia. You must constantly show your loyalty and assure your colleagues and superiors of your loyalty, otherwise they will see you as arrogant and will begin to plot your dismissal.

5. Toxicity
Banking has one of the highest toxicity scores according to the Nairaland Toxicity Index: https://www.nairaland.com/7103678/toxicity-score-various-occupations-sectors
You must be a toxic person, and must regularly dish out you venom to both colleagues and subordinates. Else, you will not survive.
Bankers are like sharks who can smell blood hundreds of miles away. Your inability to dish out your toxins will give the rest of your coworkers a signal that you can be preyed upon, which they shall surely do.

6. Political Correctness
Your opinions have to be in sync with those of your colleagues. You must always agree with the majority publicly, but you can express your disagreement in private with 1 or 2 colleagues.

7. Team Work
Team work is useful only for those in operations (branch or elsewhere). Forget it if you are in sales (marketing). Here, everyone is on their own, it is dog eat dog!

8. Relationship with surbodinates
The banking industry is a frat house. Avoid relating with security men and cleaners if you want to climb the corporate ladder fast. The exception here are female cleaners; you may service them occasionally.
Fallacious writeup.

Not all units require you to be an extrovert.

Small talk is your choice. Who will gossip about you will still do.

Relationship with subordinate affects and changes nothing.

This writeup is a misinformation.

Romance › Re: 8 Unique Traits Of Introverts by ImaIma1(f): 12:04pm On May 23, 2022
Daestro3:
Everyone is special and I don't think I made mention anywhere that introverts are special.

Secondly, no one is asking ladies to open their legs on the first date. I say first date, second or third doesn't matter to an introvert even though it might mean something to you but to an introvert, it means nothing.

Thirdly, being an introvert is not a cover. There are some people who see it as a disability. For instance, yourself and you feel introverts should work on themselves to become extroverts. They are not disabled or lacking in anyway.

And you think introverts go on to become sociopaths because of their nature?

That's the impression I am trying to correct with this post not to make introverts feel like they are special.

In fact, most people like you are so ignorant about the nature of introverts that you fill the vacuum of their silent nature with 'what you think they are thinking about themselves. Hence you say they are aloof, proud, and 'too full of themselves or think they are special.

Whereas an introvert doesn't think along those lines in one bit.
I have known introverts since I was younger till now. I have had them as friends and family. In fact one of my nephews is an introvert and we are close, so he talks.

But he won't glorify some not so good traits and expect everyone to accept it because he's an introvert.

Don't twist my words, I didn't say you have to be extroverts. Working on learning how to relate with people better and respect their own needs doesn't make you an extrovert.

If you have a gf and you have to learn to call and check on her...does that make you an extrovert?

i am on the last floor, can you step up to reality. Tbh ki lo je "serious"?? the only thing that can suspend the igbo culture is Serious money & affluence as we've seen in the case of FFK & davido.
I'm surprise @ your aspersion, maybe you rolled with boyz, lemme ask do igbos not idiolize " mary mother of jesus" ... does it look like igbos are doing her bidding relative to decisions made smiley
Fortunately, I'm talking from experience; mine and those I know o.

About igbos and their mums, nothing compared to a Yoruba man and his mum. I dated one and his mumsy didn't agree with my tribe of course.

My guy said "let's see how it goes, maybe she'llchange her mund". I ended it immediately. Not "she can't choose for me" or "I'm man enough to pick a wife for myself" but "let's see how it goes".

Thank God we had only been dating for like 2 weeks. cheesy cheesy

Romance › Re: 8 Unique Traits Of Introverts by ImaIma1(f): 10:34am On May 23, 2022
What's with all this glorification of introverts? Like they are some rare specie.

No personality is static. Everyone can work on different aspects of themselves to be better, and not dwelling in it like it is a badge of honour.

You don't like phone calls, yet you can call your boss/clients or mum. But give excuse for others and tag it "introvertish".

Sex on first date means nothing. You except the ladies to understand your nature but you don't want to understand theirs. What about compromise? Meeting halfway.

There are so many introverts that work on themselves to be more amiable with people while some decide to hide under the cover of introverts and become sociopaths.

Your neighbour is Yoruba,
The girlfriend is Igbo,
Her husband is abroad.

Pretty cool and imaginative story that touched all sides. I am sure if we check well, she is also a single mother. You can add that for more spice.

And he should add that when they get married, the girl will still be staying in Nigeria where the Yoruba guy is. So that Okafors law can happen and the "okafor" guys on the forum will be happy. grin
Romance › Re: My Neighbour And His Girlfriend Have Been Living Together Like Married Couples by ImaIma1(f): 10:00am On May 23, 2022

Is it really about what a yoruba guy plans ... you forget the igbo culture is stringent towards inter marriage.
The times i dated igbo gurlz they are usually the ones giving the signal "this r'ship is ending nowhere" cos an igbo gurl know her life is subjectable to the igbo rigid culture las las. just saying in most cases the culture is the impending barrier
It has to be two serious people that have their minds towards the same goal. They need to be able to fight their families to be together.

However, we know how most Yoruba guys carry their mothers on their heads and do her bidding. That alone accounts for most of the decisions made.

Yea. There was this thread they said 90% of women return to their Ex after marriage and I asked which one of them have experienced such. Nobody gree raise hand.

Nah. It is not tribalism at all. I don’t do tribalism, definitely not with Yorubas. They are my close neighbours, but then, we know as e dey go. Some Igbo girls do not date them, except for cruise or for money. If you aren’t dealing with the very educated and enlightened ones, na one-chance you go just enter. Low sense of responsibility, highly polygamous, no root, etc. Time to marry and the Igbo girl would fall back home. Normal normal…
It's just fantasy and reassuring for them to think that Okafors law will apply.

Na serious cruise. I speak Yoruba fluently and have many close Yoruba family and friends. But when it came to serious stuff like tha, I stay in my lane. Because dem don catch me once.

Yet I asked how many of them have slept with married women (their married EX) and none said yes on that thread.
Really? cheesy

They just use it to console themselves. Besides, the fact that they consider sleeping with a married woman already tells a lot about the kind of person they are. And the babe was right to leave them. If she ended up marrying them, they will cheat on her with their married ex grin
Romance › Re: My Neighbour And His Girlfriend Have Been Living Together Like Married Couples by ImaIma1(f):
pocohantas:
Serious indeed. That is how a lot of Yoruba guys are when dating Igbo girls in Lagos. It is either they are very serious or they are unserious. She simply beat him to his game.
This is not even about being tribalistic. I have seen so many. One Yoruba neighbour dated an igbo girl for over 4yrs. He was an only son to a single mum. When he took her to see his mum, mum said "you have not brought your wife yet" because of the tribe.

This guy dumped the babe. About a year later, he was married to a Yoruba lady. I don't know what happened to the igbo babe.

This babe probably didn't see any future as a live-in gf and decided to take her future in her hands.

Romance › Re: My Neighbour And His Girlfriend Have Been Living Together Like Married Couples by ImaIma1(f): 8:42am On May 23, 2022
I can't really blame the lady. There could be a culture clash. A Yoruba man can cohabit with a woman and she'll have kids for him and she is seen as his wife even if he hasn't "done something on her head".

Ibo culture is different and someone else was going through the right channel to make her his wife. Instead of staying as an illegal wife to see wedding pics on Facebook later.

She saw no future with him, But deep down am laughing because of okafors law. She will be back as usual to collect gbola, these i have seen.
Why are you guys consoling yourself with Okafors law? Do you think every lady is foolish enough to fall for it, especially a smart one who planned her future knowing she would remain a live-in girlfriend till she loses out. And she planned it in his house.
