Depression or frustration?

That's the easiest way to get the attention of the fat cows in Abuja.

Once senior officers become targets, positive changes will come.

Until then, making videos online will solve nothing.

I agree. Everything tastes bitter ever since.

Funny enough, I went back o. I won 70k, as I needed to raise money to pay the client back. Although this time, the maximum stake was 10k. Wish I was less greedy as at the time I did.
/
Don't worry about the N880k. You have just entered the murky water of betting/gambling. Your concern should be how you are going to deal with more than N10m lifetime loss. Don't even for a second believe that you are going to stop this newfound love. Every degenerate gambler thought so too.

ND people should be chasing Akpabio and other ND folks in NDDC if they are serious. Let them drink the oil if they want. Apparently FG is not the main source of their predicament. They better look inward.

spyder880:
The property was bought on the landlords name and not a company name, but I get your point about how the owners will relate, especially where it concerns ownership and control of certain amenities like parking space and water/electrical bills, maintenance of the house etc.

This is why I am more interested in now selling this house as a whole unit to one landlord instead of selling to several people. If there is only one landlord, control of tenants become easier with cautions or quit notices, where there are 12 owners, you can imagine the scenario.

I am in talks with 3 persons on the final selling cost.

Multi partnership in one building in Nigeria is an "avoidable" crisis waiting to happen. I am glad you are stepping away from that business model.

Live with your parents until it becomes uncomfortable. That's the key.

I don't get our people sometimes. A man with two sons has three houses in his compound. People said the first son should build his own house in his name. He did. The father died years later and he had relatives move into two of the parent's houses in the village because the second son relocated to Switzerland. Who is enjoying his father's sweat? The same relatives that cajoled him to build his own house. Isn't that wasteful?

Anyone that tells you to move out of your parent's comfortable house before you are ready, tell them to force you move na.

Top lawyers can only do so much in court. Madoff, Cosby, Raj Rajaratnam, Allen Stanford, Joachin Loera, Harvey Weinstein are multimillionaires/billionaires with highest level of connections in US whose celebrated top lawyers couldn't keep out of prison. Who is Hushpuppi?

Federal prosecutors are top lawyers too who have the backing of Federal Government fund. Like I said, Hush is being emotional now with his legal expenses. Once his pocket dries (sooner than he could imagine), he will become logical.

The greatest lesson here is that he can now count his "real" friends in one hand. Everyone just disappeared. His crime, his glory, his cross. How many friends do you think you have? Time for introspection.

There is a lot of controversy about the drug hydroxychloroquine, experts arguing for and against.
If she and her team have used it and it worked, then she may be justified to continue to use it and to speak the way she did.
Some other experts say the drug did not make any difference.
Good morning all.

Medical professionals called doctors aka physicians are one of the most corrupt professionals in US. The Pharmaceutical companies dictate how they practice--the medications they prescribe are highly ladden with incentives. A vocal physician like her will definitely get serious threats.

NB: The time one takes medications because the doctor prescribed it is long gone. One must do his/her own research to stay alive.

[quote author=ghettokid1 post=92123972]Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has advised Nigerian youths to be judicious in spending their money while voting for Big Brother Naija, BBNaija housemates this season.

Edochie urged youths to rather channel the resources to voting for himself and the likes of Banky W during elections.
The actor gave the advise on Saturday in a post on his Twitter page.

Yul is very confused. He saw the fame in others, he chose acting. He saw the wealth in politics, he became a politician. He saw pastor Odumeje throwing money around, he wants to become a pastor. I bet you if a yahoo boy around the corner buys an exotic car, Yul go begin price laptop.

I have cause to visit Lagos in order to secure the bail of a younger one who got into trouble. My cousin who stays in Lagos insisted I stay with him. He has a wife and 3 kids.

The problem now is that I don't think his wife knows how to cook!! I have had running stomach eating her food since 4 days ago. I tried to turn down her food last night but it didn't go well as she pleaded with me to eat which I did. I had stomach upset through out the night. I just can't imagine eating her food again till I leave.

Please how do I refuse her food without sounding offensive??

Ignorance is bliss!
Some people are in Nigeria prancing around like ostriches because they believe they have good command of English language. Then they travel to Germany, Japan, China and now Dubai to be relegated because they only speak English. grin grin

I still marvel out how the British was able to brainwash Nigerians completely. Even the so much touted education could not unleash the chains. Vladimir Putin speaks impeccable English but US must provide interpreter for him when he meets with the President. Now that's national pride. Not Buhari avoiding to chew his tongue trying to pronounce "corruption".

Romance › Re: My Fiancee Insists We Spend N500k Or Less On Our Wedding But I Want To Spend N1M by InvertedHammer: 4:09pm On Jul 25, 2020
Ninobraw:
I am a guy of 29 years old and she's 24 years old. She is a nurse and she is working and earning good salary. We have been dating for the past 3 years, ever since she came into my life things have been moving forward. Between the space of three years I was able to buy a land and build two flat (almost completed) and also buy a nice car. All this was possible because she was in my life. She assisted me with the money she accumulated before she met me, (2 million naira) gave it to me to add it to the money I was using to build the house, she has really been the best thing that has happened to me. We both have never cheated on each other, I'm very happy having her in my life. During the period of covid 19 my business was shut down totally she was the one that sustained me Althrough and never complained.

She later resigned from her nursing work and started her own chemist shop, I supported her with 300k she rejected it and asked me to add it to the money for house project. She is making some good money from her store any way.

Now we plan to do our marriage by December and I budgeted more than 1 million naira.
the problem is that she insisted that it is too much that I should not spend more than 500k that's been a problem to us but later settle it. because she won't just listen to me she wants me to spend less than that the reason why I wanted to spend more than 1 million Naira was because she deserves it.

So because of that we adjusted the marriage to three months time since it's just 500k I am spending now my question is can I spend 500k for a moderate marriage? And I wanted to do something tangible for her because she deserve more than everything I have, please what other things can I do for her that will be equivalent to everything she has done for me.

Since we have been dating she has never asked me for big money and also when ever I give her she always tells me that she gat money that no need to give her, in fact she love me so much that she don't even accept money from me unless gift. Now I want to do something tangible for her because since I have been dating her she doesn't allow me spent on her that much, and she doesn't complain.

NB: Another tales by the moonlight

Anyway...

God gave some people legs but they have no shoes. Some people have shoes but no legs.

Who exactly are you trying to impress? There is no difference between N500k and N1m wedding. If the lady were to be my relation, I will advise her to dump you this early in the relationship because you lack common sense. You have the kind of woman most men are praying for but you are taking her wonderful advices for granted. Yo6 are barely starting life so don't think you have "arrived". Save your money.

Would it have been better if he wore a kevlar vest? Black people always complain about racism and how all humans are created equal but they live their lives in preference to the things of the whites. Racism prevails because of overdependence on whites making it seem that the brains of black people are just for decorations only.

I will vote this man any time any day if his policies are progressive. Tell them to swear by the Bible or koran, they will in a heartbeat. Invite them to the shrine of sango or Amadioha, they will pee in their pants. Yet they claim to believe the Biblical God more because it lets them commit crimes with impunity.

You are not in love. She is the best you can do for now. That's why. This one she dey cook and you dey lick fingers, sure say you never chop "forget me not"? The fact that you are even considering being in a relationship with her calls for sober reflection. She crawled back to you her backup plan now that 28 years is nigh. After 28, most ladies settle as second wives. You are now a prize. I already know how sadly it will end.

True. That's why the fathers respect themselves and don't resort to "born throway" . Neither do our fathers believe that being called a philandering demon is an achievement.

When Jakande betrayed Awolowo and leaked some tapes to IBB, his folks should have beat shege comot for his body instead Awolowo took the chicken way out by gulping down a bottle of otapiapia. Spare the rod and spoil an elder.
